Great video. I love these gloves for throwing in the cold( Ontario). I won my Wednesday league last week because I was using these gloves and everyone else had normal mittens on. With friction you can buy one hand instead of a pair- right and left gloves.
I took a pair of my mom's dollar store $3 grip gloves she uses for gardening, and even they work so well. -2C and I was throwing 280-310 on easy aimed shots, and I threw my furthest ever shot at 375' with a tailwind. The consistency was the big thing, always the same feel. The grip is probably the same as my perfect summer grip with some tack cloth or bees wax for grip. I think my hands have low grip naturally, I might need something quite aggressive like this, even in the summer.
That's what I use them for. I don't tolerate cold discs ripping out of my hand well and these gloves work great to eliminate that. They also have a lined pair for really cold days. I'll admit it takes a little bit to get used to them, but once you do, they're great.
I've seen this glove in tournament play and have no problem with it. Generally, you lose some touch when adding a layer of anything between your hand and the disc, so that plus the fact that pros already have excellent grip timing means we won't likely see these on coverage. As someone who's currently focusing on late grip / letting the disc rip out (tip of the whip), the distance gain makes sense. Gripping properly is the difference between 360 and 400+. Love this for cold weather!
I love my friction gloves. They are awesome in cold wet weather, but they are really good year around, if you do not want irritated fingertips.
Great video.

Would love to see this in combination with a TechDisc to really see what it's doing!

I swear by those gloves. They are awesome to use in the rain. You don't need to even bother drying off your disc. I tell everybody to buy a pair.
Definitely worth it!!
100%; for rain rounds or tournament days, game changer. Light rain i typically avoid them.

The key is in the fit. Get the right size for a snug fit. There is another glove called Layout Ultimate as well
I 100% agree!
I'm sold! Thank you for the great review.
I would think mtb gloves work just as well. I like to use fingertip moistener.

Lots of new holes at Toyota that I haven’t played 😂😂
Very interested in these for winters in the northeast 😮
They would definitely come in handy during the winter!
I think these are great for older players/players with arthritis or other grip issues.
Try a tacky football glove, it's amazing!
That is actually insane
my distance went from 400 to 460 just by using these gloves
I can definitely see why after using them!
Just get cheap gardening gloves ,they wear and fit better
If you wear these at any respectable disc golf course, prepare to get absolutely ripped to shreds. 🤷🏻♂️
Ok 🤷♂️
@@TEN31discgolf you know they’re illegal in tourney play, correct?
@@CliftonLee33 Rule 813.02 says gloves are allowed.
@@TEN31discgolf then why doesn’t s single touring pro use them? If they improved a player’s game, SURELY, pros would use them.
