I wrote this song about how a lot of us gentle hearts allow others to kinda step all over us even in “love”. We kind of make a scenario up in our heads because we like someone so much that we know damn well that this person or situation does more harm to your heart and mind than good. You literally listen to 0 of the people closest to you and do your thing, then realize..oh they were right. Not saying the people closest to you are always right.
