'The Gray Man' Cast on the Joys and Challenges of Extreme, Excessive Action

- Joe and Anthony Russo are best known for directing some of the biggest, most successful movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they took their talents to Netflix for their latest film, an explosive, relentless action film starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Based on the novel of the same name, 'The Gray Man' centers on a CIA operative played by Gosling who becomes the target of an international manhunt - and one lethal assassin in particular (Evans) - when he discovers dark secrets about the agency. Ahead of the film's debut on Netflix, RT correspondent Nikki Novak sat down with the Russo brothers, Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and their co-stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, and Billy Bob Thornton to break down their characters and their approach to crafting such an impressive action extravaganza. Gosling explains how 'The Gray Man' is extreme even by action movie standards, and the Russos back that up by describing how they wanted to make a propulsive movie that would "make you forget to eat your popcorn." I'm with Jessica, I think it'll be so interesting to see how the three of them become so corrupted. I mean we've seen trios like in Harry Potter where all they do is make things right. So it'll be so interesting to see a trio who are only out for themselves but are working together to get that.

This is an awesome movie!! A can't lose cast OMG. I felt I could trust Ryan and Ana in any situation. They were always calm and I hope they star in all of the movies in the series. Best of luck.

I enjoyed this movie a lot on the first half mostly because it looked gorgeous. The second half abused the drone shots and it asked me to suspend disbelief a bit too much for my liking. It's alright.
After a criminal is hired, trained at an older age and jumps out of the plane without a parachute like it’s nothing should have given away what kind of movie this was. Still amazing action sequences and I like Ryan’s character’s attitude and humor. I thought it was a blast.

She's got great questions, and maybe it's due to time constraints, but I don't like that she asks another question before they are finished with their sentence, or even complete idea.
Didn't like the characters beard or hairstyle. Ryan Goslings hair during the interview was more what I thought more like the character.
