By the way regarding your question on the last part of the video, I think this applies to all kinds of automatic transmission whether it is CVT or conventional automatics. Imagine a scenario when you're driving on an uphill tapos naka Drive kayo, you can shift to 2 or L which is primera sa manual transmission, you need to release the gas pedal first before you can downshift to the appropriate gear. Kapag magsshift ka naman from L gear or 2nd gear or pataas papuntang drive hindi niyo na po kailangan bitawan yung gas automatic naman bababa yung rpm niya. I hope this helps you, sir.

In automatic transmission okay let's say 4-speed conventional automatic, the overdrive button once activated or pressed it serves as the 4th gear or last gear of the transmission, but when it is deactivated it only serves as the 3rd gear of the transmission and will not go to the 4th gear which is good because your transmission will keep your rpm high enough if you want to climb fast on an uphill.
