"Joy is the serious business of heaven."
-C.S. Lewis
Love that!
Lovely metaphor for the kingdom of God. All are welcome.
What a wonderful rendition. I've been attending an RP church for almost 2 yrs now, coming out of the Baptist sect. Never did I sing the Psalms before. Great. Love it. I'm probably the only Russian-American Southern Baptist Jewish guy attending a Reformed Presbyterian church.
This song is one my most played on Spotify; this video is perfect. Great job to all involved!
This morning at 6:00 AM, my husband and I enjoyed breakfast at Franklin's. The Electrician, a familiar face, greeted my husband, The Plumber and he handed me a church bulletin, saying, "This song will make you enjoy country line dancing." It featured the old hymn "I'll Give Thanks," based on Psalm 107.
Curious, I looked up the tune when I got home and found an amazing rendition. It's been on repeat today! 🎶 Unexpected inspiration can come from anywhere or anyone. Today, it came from The Electrician and a hymn on a church bulletin.
I'm sharing this song with you because sometimes, messages find us unexpectedly. 🌈 Feel the Louisiana-style rhythm, let your toes tap, and embrace the joy! Pass it on and keep the positive vibes flowing! 🎵😊
We just sang this song for the first time recently at our church! We loved it!!!! 🙌
Thank you so much for this song, Wendell! I have recently been feeling discouraged as I pray for some of my friends to be saved because I was worried that God will never reach them, that they will never come to a point where they cry out to Him.
This video starts out in that same way, with none of the audience paying attention to the good news being sung, but in the end, they all turn around and join together to praise the Lord! What an encouragement to keep hoping and praying for those yet to be saved. Thank you again, and God bless you!
This has been a real earworm for me, I have not stopped singing it or humming it everyday for about 12 weeks! I love this piece of scripture too! Let the redeemed of The Lord tell their story, and this song is one way of doing exactly that!
I'm glad to hear that after 12 weeks it's not driving you nuts. : ) Thanks for listening!
What a great representation of this song. We have loved singing it at Lexington Presbyterian (SC) and I always imagined it as a glimpse into what it’s going to like to sing together in heaven. What a blessing God gives us windows like this through talented folks like you and your band!
Superb! I already liked the awesome worship song but LOVE this video. Thank you!
Describes down trodden into grateful and joyful 😊. I love the addition mysicians and instruments.
What an incredible video. And beautiful song of praise. Psalms forever and ever.
Thx man!
This is fun start to finish! And it just kept getting better. great message too.
Love the clarinet, trombone, trumpet and everything!
I stumbled upon this song on Spotify. I love it. Reminds me of what I should be meditating on. And it is such a happy video. Love it!
Just want to say that my two year old boy loves watching this with me once or twice every night at the moment. It's weighty and light at the same time. Great job on the song and this version. Thinking of playing this at church on Sunday and busting out my euphonium.
This is so good! It should win some award!
This song and performance just brought me to tears - imagining heaven with the smiling faces of the saints as we gather and sing and drink to the king. Thanks, Wendell!
This made me feel so close to new creation today... Ever increasing joy and gratitude!
I hope I can wait/wake up; it’s 1:30am here in 🇬🇧!
You have done it again. Love it. Cousin, Linda
I love this song and was looking for the video to share. I’m going to keep looking because so many of my friends in Celebrate Recovery are recovering alcoholics. I can’t risk the potential triggers here.
Wow! That was so COOL! Praise God in the highest! :D
So many people I love in this video ❤️
Me too!
Love this. I can feel God’s love.
What a culmination Wendell. I can feel the joy and it brought tears to my eyes. A dear brother had is last Sunday at church with us yesterday and we sang Sandra’s tune “We will feast” and it felt beautiful like this. What a neat memory for you to capture. I’m really glad you shared it with us
Would you mind sharing a link to the song you mentioned please?

Do this. To every single one of your songs. This video and the music is brilliant!
Ha! Thanks man. This was quite the undertaking, or I would totally take your advice. It was a blast making it.
@@wendellkmusic my wife and daughters absolutely loved it too.
A Wendell classic. Fun video!
Thanks for bringing this beauty of a song (and video) into the world!
Tom, Clare, Lina and Livi tuned in. Great job all around.
Awesome! So fun and such a great experience for you, Wendell! Praise God!
I can't tell you how many times I've watched this... This is fantastic! Love the band. Fits the song so well. Keep it up, brother!
Thanks man!
I love it. It recounts the tale! Also, I dig the brass and winds. They make me want to go relisten to the old Redeemer New Orleans record, which is underrated and now out of print.
Which record?

Very nice! Soli deo gloria!
Hope they were drinkin' Spirit water and new wine!
Will be performing this at our coffeehouse.
Love this. 💕
Way Cool! We miss not seeing and hearing you in person. Blessings.
Praise the Lord!
Thanks. What an occasion!
Wow brilliant! Give thanks indeed - needed that!
So cool and beautiful! Grace to you all!
This is so great, thank you for it and praise God! I love the instrumental at the end:)
Just needed a reprise at the end!
Wonderful and joyful!
They brought their children to a 🍸 BAR??? *GASP--LORD have mercy! 😀
Such a fun video! Would love to know how many takes until you got "the one"?
I don’t agree with the use of drums because of its origin but this started out lovely
Wow what a great song and performance! Really love the setting.
Some of the subtitles you embedded are way out of sync. I'd really like if they could be resynced. As dutch person correct subs really help me in 'living your songs'.
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll see if I can straighten them out.
@@wendellkmusic Tx for straightening them out! They are perfect in sync now.
Like Kermit leading worship in a pub with the muppet band.
