I'm studying fashion design and at the end of every semester we make a fashion show. I have to pay a big amount of money for someone to wear and walk with my designs (and we're talking about a small show and production), without mentioning the rehearsals and just all the effort you put in it, for someone to come and feel like they can ruin it that way. So, yeah, in my opinion, Gigi did amazing.

Personally, I'm not studying fashion design while aiming to create fast fashion products or hardly affordable clothing, because that's not my taste; still, I don't feel there's a reason to hate on fashion designers, since their work (in most cases I believe) is a way for them to express their artistic habilities. I'm studying fashion design and at the end of every semester we make a fashion show. I have to pay a big amount of money for someone to wear and walk with my designs (and we're talking about a small show and production), without mentioning the rehearsals and just all the effort you put in it, for someone to come and feel like they can ruin it that way.
So, yeah, in my opinion, Gigi did amazing.
Yeah but it's still money of her family so i don't mind that woman being there at all... you fashion designers shouldnt make clothes for expensive shops only but also for people who are in need especially now cause of everything being more expensive and most people becoming poorer and poorer over time while you fancy those rich designer's families... that 1% of population that controls the whole world... that's why the world "goes to hell".

It takes so much effort to plan, organize these events, don't even let me start with designing and making clothes. I don't think that the fact that I can't afford buying those clothes, gives me any right to act that way. Personally, I'm not studying fashion design while aiming to create fast fashion products or hardly affordable clothing, because that's not my taste; still, I don't feel there's a reason to hate on fashion designers, since their work (in most cases I believe) is a way for them to express their artistic habilities.
I think it goes beyond models or people having power because of their wealth. I believe it's about the designer and the designer's team efforts.
