North Korea played admirably against Brazil. Held them scoreless for almost an hour. They even managed to score a goal. With a FIFA ranking of 105, they remain the lowest ranked team to ever qualify for a World Cup since rankings were introduced in 1992. Unfortunately, I think they gave all their energy on this game and completely crumbled against Portugal losing 7-0.
And all the North Korean fans are Chinese, not even your own people cheering you on at your country's second ever world cup.

this video does not make justice to this game. without exaggerating this is one of my favorite games of all time. north korea was very hard, they were running like crazy. the brazilians were frustrated in this game. maicon cried because of release feeling I'm sure. I remember it seemed impossible to penetrate Korea's defense. of course n. korea making all that physical sacrifice was bad for them in the next 2 games. but made this game in particular very memorable.

I've witnessed Julio Cesar's career for Brazil NT since his debut in Copa America 2004. JC's performance for Brazil is something I must do him a great credit. He was awarded as the best goalkeeper of Copa America 2004 and of Confederations Cup 2013. It remains vivid in my mind his performance against Equador in 2009, the best one I've ever seen for Brazil.
