I love how this entire match was booked Harwood tapping to The Sharpshooter was very symbolic we all know how he respects The Hart Family.
Dax should have won with either the piledriver or the Sharpshooter. You don't get much more Shawn Michaels than Adam Cole. Dax and Cash wrestle like Stu trained them.
Everyone respects the Hart family.
If Cole wins this thing, he should put the sharpshooter in his arsenal. He doesn't really use submissions, nice to see him win with one🤟🔥💯💪

Right? I hate how people throw hate at Bryce and Aubrey for actually being involved in the match and having personalities - it just ups the immersion for me. Monotone and bland referees are the worst.
Dax Hardwood gave another brilliant performance and Adam Cole not only won the match but got a lot of heat by his tease of the *Sweet Chin Music* and utilization of the *Sharpshooter.*
Tell me Dax isn't ready for a singles push ??? He is such a great storyteller in the ring
Well, the two guys I was pulling for got knocked out on the same night, such is life. Still, this was a great Dynamite and I assume Dax and Cash will set their sights on maybe DON and the AEW tag belts.... 👊
It would only make sense. They got the Triple A and RoH tag belts, may as well get the AEW belts and have all the gold.
While I would love to see them win the belts, I don’t think DON is the place to do it. They seem to be building to Jurassic Express vs Team Taz vs Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland. Maybe they face the winner of that triple threat tag?

FTR has been on a insane rise and enjoying their best momentum of their careers where they have really elevated tag team wrestling and brought an updated classic style to their matches that just resonate with the fans. Seeing them win back the AEW world tag team championships and holding three tag team championships in total would be as historic as it gets 🔥🔥🔥 😎

Dax played the underneath babyface role really well here. I had a feeling Cole would win, but Dax did a great job in getting the crowd behind him, selling the damage done to his ribs and continuing to fight through the pain.. it made me want to see Dax get the win.
That piledriver was a thing of beauty. The fact that it isnt a finish and so many less impactful moves are is kinda silly tbh

Agreed. Unfortunately almost nobody in any American promotion has a protected finisher. Whether the move looks like it would hurt or not, if the finisher isn't protected, its meaningless to use.

The best part of Dynamite is they always have a solid opening match. While the other company believes in a 20 minutes or so long narration to begin their weekly episodes, AEW starts Dynamite on point and hype the fans well for the entire 2 hours long episode.

I absolutely HATE how the wrestler is dead outside of the ring until the referee gets to 9 and then they become Usain Bolt and its like they were never hurt.
It's perfect, the wrestler uses their last gasp to make it to the ring, and then the rush of adrenaline to keep going for a while

Ftr was amazing as heels, but I don't know why, they're the only guys I find interesting to play heel or face, there are talents who're born to be a heel like Miz, Rollins, and Triple H, and some are born to play as face like Cesaro, Kofi, Rey, etc.
But ftr is different, I find their face turn also interesting, hope aew won't fck it up

I try my best to defend TK's booking but this was just downright disrespectful.
the crowd was so into Dax that was amazing to see.
Harwood should have won. We are seldom able to see tag teams wrestle solo, and Dax had the story and fan momentum. It would have generated much more buzz as he gets closer to winning, even if he loses in the finals. Adam Cole has storylines for years with the Undisputed Elite, there's no need to have him featured in this one too.

Did anyone else notic that JR and Tony had more to say on commentary than Excalibur on this Dynamite episode? I was glad to hear JR's voice more as he not only did play by play but covered storylies, psychology and put the talents over. This tells that JR is still sharp but let Excalibur get more experience and recognition as he doesn't need need it anymore.
