i cant believe this is 14 years old. slaps harder than ever
i cant believe i just stumbled upon this masterpiece. I love the chemical brothers but this is such a great version and video
Found this song on radio tunes, what a banger!
Chemical brother's version = a calm/chill track
Shinichi Osawa's version = a faster version they could play in a club/dancing ;)
I like both of them!
Depends on what mood I'm in :)
Chemical Brothers version is perfect for tram rides or cruising around.
Shinichi Osawas version is perfect for train rides or driving on the highway with the window open.
@@adventurouseddie9369 True 🙂
I like both versions on different occasions. Different moods. 😉
몇년이 지나도 머리속 남아 계속 듣게된다는것은 나에겐 명곡이라는 것이다.
Shinichi Osawa is the best DJ in Japan for me, he has a repertoire of incredible complex sounds!
I've been looking for this song for about 8 years. SO glad to finally be with it again
these kinds of songs like shinichi osawa style, make me un depressed and look forward to great times that i see in my head while listening:)
You're right, I feel the same now that I read your comment. Thanks!
🎉🎉🎉🎉
I listened previously in vidieos driving in tokyo, but I ´d never imagine that song was composed by osawa shinishi, I wonder about that, but this performer has suprised me and I like so much.
Actually this is composed by Chemical Brothers
Dude this is an absolute banger!
Yes. This made justice to Chemical Brothers ♡
You people who liked this song and don't know Shinichi very well (somewhat like me), take a look at "Maximum Joy", it's very simillar to this one, but a bit faster.
Great song for fast drive, shinichi knows what he does :D
Mesmerising
I freaking love both versions of this song. It always makes me want to dance.
Chemical Brothers version for listening at home.. Shinichi for a night out. Done. Perfect for me.
loved it. songs message was ope. i agree with it. the video was unbelievably amazing. standing ovation.
No one seems to mention how much like a Chemical Brothers video this is. Great tribute all round. I agree, Chemical Brother version for home chill out, Shinichi for at the Club :)
gosh i love this freaking sound!
aaaaahhhhhhh yes!!! was listening to the d and b remix, listening to chemical brothers version but this one is the one that kicks ass!!!!! love it
Simple + repetitive + catchy = Stuck in my head for weeks
Le hace honor tanto a la canción como al video originales 😍😍😍🤗
Sii, muchos vídeos no resaltan la canción original a un nivel coherente, pero este vídeo! este video es la personificación de la canción ❤
I wouldnt say the chemical brothers classic were chilled out but this version certainly has its balls out.
Every time I'm sad or unhappy I play this song
To me the sound of the guitar building up and the beat that comes after it, gives a mental image in my head of a phoenix rising from the ashes
there's this climactic cathartic feeling everytime we get to that drop
like i want to cry and dance to it
I don't know this version sounds so much more slicker than the original. Serious props to osawa
Absolutely cracking choon
Actually i like this version more than the Chemical Brothers Version.
Ye me too
I dont
i luv this version
Shinichi did it :) love you man ;)
Wasn't there, but I've heard it on the album!
Awesome!Ö
Mondo Grosso really likes this kind of chord progression.. reminiscent of STRANGER with Asuka
first heard this song on WRC the game ... loved it so much ... the main reason i played it i think .... one word.. TUUUNE
I should feel what I feel I should take what i TAKE
as someone who was "there" when shit was going down at "partys" ....I can say the original got more or a pop then this version ever could. otherwise, this version is f'n bangin......and more than worthy of accolades.*ninja vanish
One of the most underrated things on CZcams
Amazing cover, amazig vid.
its on WRC2 (ps2).
"Monday" to be released by Steve angello on the 16th uses samples from the original Star Guitar (by the chemical brothers back in 2002)
i cant wait for monday to come out check it out when it does.. ul recognise the samples
Ahhh yes, this takes me back! 😎🤣
Dr. Lektroluv just opened up my mind to this one. Simply awesome!! Listen or buy Dr. Lektroluv - Live Recorded @ Pukkelpop 2008 if you want to hear this in one bangin'. Mind blowing mix!!
this rocks!
This was the song that forever changed my life.. XD
Love song
this is pretty dope
i have a set by dr.lektroluv with this track at the end , been lookin for it for some time now !!!!!!! happy out sunday session song !!!!!

Love it! :)
i love this version...its so cute and cool!! ...and most of all i LOVE SHINICHII OSAWA!!!! he's so sexy!!!!
...oh yeah the golden 2008 was a bangin' year ;)
I love it 2020
2:16 Anyone else get a cheerful happy feeling when those 3 cute women start singing "You should feel what I'm feeling " and when they dancing happily having fun?
i heard this version first, and i need to say i love it way more than the chem version. awsome cover
sound like one song from my old ps2 rally game:)
I love how the DJ straight up took the guitar samples and bitcrushed them into everliving fuck.
wow... didn't even think of that!
feel what i feel! feel the rythm...
Pre-social media...
2009 will be missed
instant peak whenever i roll.
@Mankicore i agree 100%. I was pissed off when i heard from a friend that osawa was about to remix it, because i don't like remixes of classic songs. But after a listen to it, i totally changed my point of view and now consider this as a master work, osawa did a great job as the CBros did.
I wish I could feel but with this low-res I just can't.
The album is AMAZING man. Especially Maximum Joy and Electro 411.
大好きな曲をイジられて腹が立つ!
と、言いたいところですが独特の感性でメロディアスに仕上げていて、少しノスタルジックな所とか 割と好きかもw
リスペクト感も伝わってきました。
yeah
HELL YEAH!!!!
i just listened to both songs and despite the base i can't find anything in this remix, which is not in the original. i like other stuff by osawa though. well.
this is still cool
Variations on a theme -- The Ting Ting's Great DJ. But I love this song!
I love the song to death, but i will never take what they take.
I discover that sound on the "What The Hell Is A Dim Mak" mixtape, good old times
que cancion tan putamente buenaaaaaaa
I like how at the end the still frames of the girl squatting show alternating head directions. Pretty cool song overall. More energetic than the original
a-m-a-z-i-n-g
like it
I've been a fan of this track however I just discovered Labyrinth is also his track and my mind is blown.
So who is Mondo Grosso?
@@huntermcneil2201 shinichi osawa a.k.a Mondo Grosso !!!!!!
@@ykama0917 It's okay, I figured that out four years ago.
cool cover of a Great Chem Jam
this reminds me of 90's music video's o_0 and also Queen's - Bohemian Rhapsody... it would be cool if someone edited this song over the Michel Gondry video of Star Guitar
good
Reminds me of a song from ridge racer.
Let me guess...
A track from rr6?
大沢伸一やっぱいいな!
michel gondry is in a class of his own. he has a few misses mostly because he doens't do dark and moody well. but i take any opportunity to praise him. hopefully event this mention will get people to see the original. its understated genius.
yeah frills, it always nice to have someone else experiencing your pleasure too heheh
Overall I do like both.
The song is original from Chemical Brothers, using samples of "Starman" from David Bowie.
yhea song
lets the fireballs be!!!!
but tell me why on spotify the title is Star Guiter instead of Guitar. i always thought it was some sort of play or joke
find this song on my brother iPad, now here I am..
maybe not as good as the original but it's still a great cover and a very good idea piece of work.
The original was made on drugs for people on drugs.
You should feel what I feel, you should take what I take.
Im not on drugs but im trippinnnnggg
alrighty
On that verse was there a dude and chick singing ? or was it just a girl ?
And the second one also bro.
@TheZashh Peer pressure, haha, good one. :D
Rock Version 👌
I have a good feeling that this would have been HUGE on Rapture TV - RMuzik if they had it on the playlist,
the chemical brothers already made a cover??
exactly how old is this song? i thought it was new...
It's not about his voice, but the riffs of his song. Listen carefully about 0:30
wtf i had an eargasm first time i hear this song
Dam if i was faded this shit would drip me out lol
When the remix is better than the original...
i feel sorry for everyone and anyone who thinks this is the original for not being there when the chem's droped this back in the day
Mondo Grosso brought me here ;D
ketchuppopsicle me too actually!!
Me three! 🙋😁
Mondo Grosso is a stage name of Shinichi..
This is where I go on CZcams when my motor skills are limited.
The original is a great song but this canes it's behind. Another great Shinichi remix is his version of Turbo Love by Bag Raiders - but buy the iTunes versions as you need good quality for this kind of music.
@berNdjeeuH
The Chemical Brothers version
i like the remix -- but the michel gondry video for the original is a masterpiece. its kind of weird they took the repitition from the gondry video.
