Hong Kong is my most interesting travel vlog to date. Enjoyed & learned a lot of new 1sts on this trip.
One that I still can’t get over is the crazy rental & housing prices. A 7sqm flat costs almost P40M pesos to purchase (an average car parking space is 16sqm) and a 111 SQM flat almost 200Million pesos (which is 10x more the average cost per sqm in BGC).

Then there’s the helicopter ride hehe!

Wow. Thank you for sharing this Ms Alice. I spent 3 years in Hong-Kong (Kow Loon harbour) working as DH just for me to have the experience so I can go to Canada. I am now a citizen here in Canada. I have not been in those places that you were except for Tsim Sha Tsui. I actually miss HK wish I could go back there again. Im sure there are more Filipinos that could relate to me, cuz we all know thousands of Filipina women go there and work to support their families... Thank you so much.. keep vlogging!

sobrang mahal -po tlaga ng standard of living po dito...lalo po bahay......noong nag uumpisa plang husband ko dito bedspacer lang sya....nasa 20k Pesos po bayad nya...then nag cage size room po nasa 25k..then small studio room in Jordan noong kinuha na nya ako as dependant....We are paying 35k ....and now po small subdivided flat near Austin Station/Kowloon Station/Elements we are paying 70k Pesos ...kaya kailangan po talaga mag sipag

Hi Alice ! Glad to discover that you have a you tube channel. Your beauty is unfading. I had visited Hongkong for the first time with my sister last December 2018 for 10 days. We explored most of the places that has no entrance fee such as Lai Chi koh Park, Hongkong University , Kowloon Stone Sculture Park, Clock Tower, The Heritage 1881 & Star ferry Pier. It was a memorable experienced .

Nice vlog! We noticed the same in Hong Kong that the prices were really crazy expensive. But for that you do get convenience, cleanliness and nice food! :) So we were able to bear a bit of the pain.

wow! dyan din po kami nag stay last May this year. Imagine po 2 kami with 2 kids, the first room they gave us we couldn't fit our luggages inside. maliliit po talaga ang units sa HK. we have to put the luggages underneath the bed para magkasya kami. haha.. but it's cheap.. soo.. ok narin..

You went to The Sky Bar in Mongkok, right? But that’s Victoria Harbour as your backdrop. Repulse Bay is located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island. Mej malayo sya from where you are.

Grabe mahal na ng bahay sa hongkong ngayon. Average price right now is about$14K hongkong dollars/sqft. I remember nung 2003, the market crashed and price was $2300/sq ft hongkong dollars. That was US$300/sq foot which sounds mahal but that was a bargain. So back then, if you bought a 2500 sq ft condo, it was only US$750K pero ngayon $5M kung makakita ka. The units in that building now sells from $10M to $20M depende sa size. Sa Pinas ang P1 billion na bahay sa Forbes ay mahigit 50000 sq m. Sa Pinas na lang kayo bumili kung meron kang P1B.

Super ganda pdin ❤😍 got our airfare for 1500 php roundtrip per person then our hostel room for 15 usd per night good for 2 but the room is clean and has a window 😁. Also stayed to different hotels in hk but for a change we also want to experience staying at a hostel. For those who are interested what hostel it is alohas hostel mongkok. Great vlog ms. Alice it is refreshing to saw a celebrity doing a vlog like this
Hong Kong Real Estate prices is in the Top Five in the Whole World. As you mentioned in the video the Price per Square Feet of Real Estate in Hong Kong is US $3,000....while in Downtown Toronto Canada the price per Square Foot of a Condo building is only US $700....Big difference. This is because Hong Kong is such a small country with limited lands and spaces. So when this Hong Kong people buys homes in Canada they get Mansions because the price of a Mansion in Canada is only the price of a small Flat in Hong Kong, And when they buy cars in Canada they buy BMW , Mercedes or Audi because the prices of this luxury cars is only the price of a small Honda Civic in Hong Kong....:-P
