    I have a similar LG top load washer. It is 4 years old or so now. I had the same experience with whites coming clean after their first time in this machine. I had white hand towels, large bath towels, and wash clothes that were tired looking. I had actually purchased new and was using those. Decided to run the old ones as a load in the LG. Just ran them on standard towel cycle. (I always use added water and extra rinse.) and they came out bright and white. I was amazed. I think these are great washers and I generally run them fairly full.

      Agipeller is how some brazillian manufacturers call their agitator-impeller hybrid washing systems. I dunno if there are Panasonic washers out there, but here in Brazil they are pretty praised impeller washers.
      Overall, amusing how do americans also prefer a grinder-like washing system.

    Although I think agitator-less washers dont perform as well as agitator top load washers,i think this one is a big exeption. Even without a agitator it cleans loads better than some agitator machines. It even performs better than the 2018 Speed Queen and that DOES have a agitator! :)

    Now rebranded as the 7001. People need to get over the belief that you need waaaay too much water and an agitator to clean your clothes well, and this excellent washer proves it. It all goes back to what you grew up with, but all of us need to face the fact that this is 2021, not 1951. These washers are the future, and we all need to get with the program! • @alanmahler277
    @alanmahler277 Před 4 lety

    Hey Eugene hope you’re doing well.
    I ended up purchasing this washer partly based off of the video and review that you did it’s been working fine but as of recently we’ve been noticing some residual flecks staying behind on the clothes so my wife would run a cleaning cycle and we noticed a lot of residue being stuck to the bottom of the pan and in and around all of the drain holes.
    We did this a few times with hot water and bleach and it never really seem to get any better.
    So we have the extended warranty and I called for service.
    A service man came out to check the washer and said that the part inside was bad I believe this was the drive assembly underneath the agipeller.
    It was literally caked and discolored with mold mildew soap scum not sure what else is on it but underneath the agipeller assembly was completely covered in black and various color molds.
    The repair man said the part was bad but said mechanically it’s fine but it’s just so discolored and pitted that he feels it should not be left in there and we seem to agree.
    So we’re waiting for a replacement parts to come in one of which is the Assembly cap Which cracked when he was trying to jimmy it off.
    I was curious if you have seen this issue with any other of these models.
    We’ve had the washer just over a year and I’m fearful that this is going to continue to happen year after year as this metal piece gets discolored and covered with mold and residue.
    I have various pictures captured of the material that is stuck to the assembly unit underneath the agipeller But I just don’t think I can attach them to this format.
    Please reach out to me at your convenience and I can try to send them to you in a different way.
    Thank you
    Alan

      Alan Mahler , buy some sodium percarbonate and run your washer through a self clean. What your describing is generally environmental in nature (ie, you, were the Washer lives, or detergent) I see the black goo in all washers in general. It seems to be related to fabric softener

    • @hammerrox
      @hammerrox Před 5 lety

      Well, nowadays yes because the manufacturers program them from the factory to use only up to a certain temperature - usually around 90 to 100 F. If you select hot, then it puts in hot water but also adds in cold water to cool it down. The older machines did not do that, they pumped hot water straight into the machine with no added cold water. So, the temperature of that water depended on what you had your hot water heater set at; from 120-160 F normally.

    If you would’ve washed the comforter on the heavy duty cycle it would’ve turned over the comforter. I can almost guarantee you it would’ve turned over. Even without water plus. I don’t use water plus on that cycle for mine and my comforter turns over flawlessly. Much better than the bulky cycle. That cycle’s a joke. This washer really can clean just about anything you put in it.

    • @anonymous5074
      @anonymous5074 Před 6 lety +1

      Yes your King size will fit. Use the Heavy Duty cycle and if you wish you can use water plus, since it’s a really big comforter. I learned that when washing comforters and large blankets in a washplate washer, you want there to be enough water in the tub for the blanket, but not to where the comforter floats. Because then the impeller wouldn’t be scrubbing anything. The comforter needs to turn over to get it cleaned properly. Not just float in water while the impeller gently swishes the comforter around.

      I think I'll keep my old Kenmore, not as quiet as it used to be, 33 years old and I have had no problems with it. What new machine could do that?

    This machine is a gimmick do not purchase!!!!. It has know way to agitate clothes and uses to much water. Your clothes will float on top like a fishing bobber!!!!
    Example, you can't wash pillows (they float) and you can't wash shoes or baseball or uniforms, the water simply has know way to force circulation through fabrics. This machine might be good for washing dishes because they will sink, but they won't get clean because there is know agitation .
    If you are a pre-washer and enjoy scrubbing dirt, grease and human waste out of undergarments this machine is for you.
    Total Epic Fail!!! LOL!!!!

      They work good for smaller loads but when washing big items it does a horrible job I have a front loader now it does pillows and big comforters easily
