    • @littlecupofwhat
      @littlecupofwhat Před 11 měsíci +7

      @@LisasLittleWorld I agree - there’s so many countries that get (overly) hyped up, like Switzerland, Korea, Australia, etc, but of course there is no “milk and honey” place in the world we live in! Anywhere you are/go, everything is more likely to be hard and cold, especially if you’re all alone! We just gotta pick our poison or try to choose the lesser of two evils🤷🏾‍♀️ -
      I’ve been conflicted in trying to decide where to go - the options I have are quite a few, based on the languages I know (Korean, Chinese, English) ((I’m interested to learn Spanish and Swahili, but I’m already 25 and I want to settle down somewhere and have love (marriage) so it would be wise not to choose a Spanish or Swahili speaking country))
      As far as the ‘alone’ aspect, the only option I have is US because it’s the only place I have family (and 1 friend)
      I’m in Korea right now and I came here because it was a place on my list that I could live in based on the languages, but Korea along with China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia have culture and lifestyle so different from US, so it was wise for me to come in person before making a huge decision to move - after being here for two months in total so far, I know that I could live here even though I’m kinda alone (I’ve met people at church, but no one with the potential for close relation), but I don’t think I want to. If an opportunity presents itself (unlikely to happen of course - my Brazilian roommate told me ((in Portuguese)) “if you don’t cry, you don’t suck”(?)… anyways lol it means I have to speak up cause it’s not gonna come to me on its own - I gotta go try to get it and ask for it~ (super hard, and also in the area of love (marriage) - I might have to be the one to initiate it🥺), but if I get/find an opportunity that allows me to stay here longer, then I will stay because opportunities aren’t coincidences and I am waiting trusting and having faith God will make a way for me and what He wants me to do (purpose)~ whether that is here in Korea or in Australia or somewhere else🤷🏾‍♀️
      Whew! I really needed to let all that out😌 but it’s okay if no one decided to read it! God will read it and answer it!🌎🌟🫶🏾🩵 Amen!

    So you're earning minimum wage (there's no minimum wage in swt but usually that is what lower salaries look like) and still putting 1k usd in savings each month. All this while renting a very nice place, since rent of 1800chf is really expensive, rent usually goes between 900chf and 1200chf. Switzerland is a dream.

      Kids daycare solution = give them to the grandparents for free or a neighbor for cheaper.
