I started DR's baby steps in February and paid off 5 of 10 debts. I started Shipt since watching your videos to help pay off debt and save for a car before I retire (6 years) at most...I have my EF, and am still on BS 2. This can be done if we keep eyes on the goal, to live like no one else so we can live like no one else! God Bless you and your little family.

But as you said no one is watching so do the best with what you got..save and invest. We are bless tobjust have work.
I started training for a work from home position today, the company provided me with all the equipment and of course, the desktop computer....and i'm also sitting on the floor 6 hrs a day cause i don't have a freakin desk LMAO it's so embarassing 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 and i will be like this for probably the next 2 weeks until I get paid cause i'm broke af.

Don't be embarrassed, that's proven dedication for getting a job right there, especially since you were able to keep the job while working on the floor. Quiet workplace, I wish the people who answer most of the small amount of customer service calls I've made lately actually did this.
It's important to get a Call Center Phone and have a landline connection for it...I was gonna use a regular rotary phone but sometimes the headphone set doesn't fit the Phone you are planning to use.. Amazon does sell adapters and that is great..

When I first started working from home. I had an old dresser that I was about to throw out. But instead, I used it for the desk and I sat on the bed . Talking about uncomfortable. But I made it work until I got that first check.

I have a Mac and my employer doesn’t allow that brand either. I ended up downloading windows onto a flash drive and I can reboot my Mac into windows for work!
Beware, some employers don't want you to do this. I saw a recent company that said you can't use a Virtual Machine /virtualization (or whatever it's called lol).
yes my hubby did this for me, so i can work at home with the mac. Being tech savvy goes long way and saves money for sure. I will eventually get a desktop but it works for now.
Also people refurbished pc/ desktop seem to work fine, I have a windows 10 dell 20 inch screen desktop I got for under 300$ I had to buy and install the 16 desktop ram cards myself but it’s def worth it, make sure it’s from a reliable source w some sort of warranty.
I am so in your boat! LOL I waited last minute to get me a headset... I can say I did run out and got me a desk/chair but other then that.. I still dont have headset, fax/scan.. like ooof still learning all this. 😂😂 thankyou!

If one doesn't have a Computer Desk..A sturdy Dining room or Kitchen Table will do..As long as you have a electrical outlet nearby.. A nice Chair you can sit in and make comfortable..... Untill you start making Money and can get the other stuff you may need....make do with what you have...Thrift Stores that sell Furniture and Flea Markets have nice inexpensive Desks. If one is trying to save a little Money...May have to spruce it up a little bit..add a fresh Coat of Paint on it..

Somebody please explain an Ethernet cable. I was hired for a work at home job which starts in January. They mentioned an Ethernet cable and I didn’t want to sound stupid so I didn’t ask.
Just Google it. It's sold eveywhere. You just connect it directly to your modem and your laptop or desktop in order to use the Internet instead of using WiFi which most companies don't allow.
I went to check out your recommendation for computers you tube is good because it is the same one i have been considering do you still like the computer, i have read reviews saying it is slow? What is your thoughts being you had it a while now
Hard wiring your computer typically refers to using an ethernet cord to plug your computer directly into your internet modem. Most companies require you to do this oppose to working on wifi. Hope that helps.

I would wait until I'm with a company because they all required different things. If a phone line is not required all you'll need is the corded headset and not the phone.
Absolutley not lol! Look into transcription jobs like at at rev.com and scribie....Also there are chat positions at places like...the Chat Shop and Apple.
Watch out for scams babes. I looked for 2 solid months everyday contacting and applying and got scammed a couple times before finding a legit opportunity. Good luck👍🏻
I would personally do some research into these jobs, find their websites, find customer reviews, etc. I have personally been looking into working from home too, and I spent a lot of time researching into the job roles & actually realised the offices were really close to my location! Crazy!
Any company that wants you to have a specific type of computer can damn well supply you with that computer. You shouldn't have to pay for that.

The usb headset connects directly to the modem. If you are using POTS you will more than likely need the phone with the headset.
