But the end of that second quarter a 10-0 run was led by man of the night Blake Griffin who defended really well, got a big charge and got that hard hat on and made a monster dunk off faking out Carter which was sick and really got the Clay fans going. James harden was doing his thing and getting to that free throw line alot more wiry ease and is trusting his body again and got us back into it. Then Bruce Brown got injured and you wondered if Brooklyn was gonna have a bad third. And in walked Patty " Cakes" Mills who dropped two big threes like a boss 😎😎😎 and got his hard hat on!!! The Blue collar boys came out big tonight. Patty is Brooklyn culture and is such a huge weapon for Brooklyn. Brooklyn got a good lead and came back. And that fourth quarter allowed Lamarcus Aldridge to take over this time with intensity 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and bullied his way to the rim and amped this crowd up. 11 huge points for the LA Midrange machine and that intensity showed Lamarcus is here to freaking win and he's crucial to this team. And a big honorable mention goes to James Johnson who finally showed up tonight and threw the rust off and did a bit of everything tonight and hit a double double in scoring and his rebounding was very crucial to this team and he hit a big three. James is a scrapper and proved tonight the value he brings. Well earned comeback win and first place feels damn earned. Lets go!
U don't have to be Aussie to love patty m8, he's a genuine good hearted guy who really makes time to learn about all aspects of the team he's playing for from the city he's in to the people he's playing for and that there is what I think separates him from some players as he seems to really be about playing for the people and not just himself if U saw that bridge episode U would see what I'm on about and fuck me he's a beast of a player who is all about the team and how he can optimise their ability to win by his great play yeah he can be inconsistent at times but I guarantee if he's not feeling it on the court he's giving 100 percent behind the scenes and even on the bench the man is all about doing what he can to lift the team U only have to hear former teammates and new ones talk about his impact on and off the court to see how valuable he is to his team he really is a nice guy who is near impossible to not like unless U got to defend him that is.
The Tokyo Olympics were great for this guy. In the Aussie system he has to step up and be more of a star. It's given him a extra gear in terms of confidence. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
U should go watch more of His plays with the Boomers before the Tokyo games. Those extra gears have always been there. Under coach Pop he wasn't given the chance to play freely as he does with Australia
