Are there any other rooms in the house? Personally, I would pay more attention in my girls room, decorated to be pretty and cosy, than in my closet (again and again), my wardrobe (too many times) and in general, in everything that has to do with me all the time. I am afraid there is no decoration at all in the nursery (even in Christmas there is decoration in the office and the closet, of course!)

Lovely birthday party. This is said with no judgement whatsoever, but it definitely staggers me how parents give kids such big birthdays every year, it wasn’t that case for me when I was growing up. It was more the bigger years like sweet 16th or 18th, 21st, times like that. Nowadays, kids have parties that get bigger and more expensive every year. As long as the kids appreciate it, I guess it’s worth it. Happy birthday to your lovely girls xx
