“YOU DON’T HAVE TO YELL! I CAN HEAR YOU, ITADORI YUJI!!!!” Mahito is reaching Naraku levels of hate, the dude is just such a magnificent bastard that he lights up every scene he’s in

@@jovemisterjjk has depth. it's just not as on the nose so the pseudo intellectuals don't see it. radman's video about gojo vs sukuna is a good example
@@yitlerxyeezus this combined with the parallel character progression/evolution between Gojo and Geto (episode 1-5 of Season 2): how they started, changed over time and the characters they have currently become. Philosophical essays could be produced and written just from those two alone imo.

Mahito is the exact equivalent to Kid Buu. Child like behavior, ridiculous powers and just evil. 😂😂

Nigga… Yuuji anime wise just started being a sorcerer. And I mean he’s probably still 4 months in timeline wise. Literally EVERYONE else knows their ability and how to effeciently use it. Itadori is still pushing those niggas to their limits.

tbh curses like mahito are the jujutsu sorcerer of curses
mahito would kill a human the same way sorcerers would exorcize a curse
but mahito is laughing and enjoying the pain of the humans, you hardly see stuff like that from even the meanest sorcerers...

Exactly I think they forgot he’s literally a baby. So just like a kid he’s careless and he doesn’t see right or wrong he just does what he wants I don’t think he’s meant to be super deep as a character.
@@pumasic1987 What about Gojo laughing and smiling while killing Hanami? Its not like every curse acts like Mahito, the same way not every sorcerer acts like Gojo
@@pumasic1987sorcerers may not all be laughing but neither are all the curses. They simply don’t care mahito is laughing because that’s literally his character and demeanor but sorcerers also kill curses with no thought to it.

Tony a W for not spoiling that mahito shit I read manga too 😂
Me to 😂
which part of the manga was it? was it the "'í'm you ' panel?
In jujutsu kaisen curses are more of a natural disaster. Mahito actions are evil but that’s just him he was born out of human hatred. So he doesn’t view himself as evil
I agree with this. He wouldn’t think of it as evil because its his nature as a curse .
Mahito, Jogo, Dagon and Hanami(?) are all disaster curses. Things that humans fear.
Jogo: fire hence him being the shape of a volcano
Dagon: Sea, specifically the deep sea
Hanami: the forest
Mahito: Humans
The thing is JJK really is that deep IF YOU WANT IT TO BE. A lot of themes and messaging just aren’t thrown in your face but it is there if you want to dive deep into those things. And if you don’t want to do that and focus strictly on the boxing, you can damn sure do that too. That’s why I love this series. Niggas that try and down play it instead of just saying “I don’t enjoy it” are deadass just hating.
Makes more sense when you notice how much Gege looks at Bleach for inspiration
Further Explain
@@jadenrobinson1561JJK can be enjoyed as essentially just fire fights with a fast paced plot, or you can read into the subtext Gege gives us that underlines the themes, characterization and narrative of the story.
One of the ideas spoken on in JJK is moral relativism. Is Mahito truly at fault for being what he is, especially considering how curses are made to begin with? Is Yuji a hero for recklessly eating a very dangerous cursed object that led to thousands of deaths bc of his will, intent and response or is he simply a person dealing with the consequences of his actions? Are sorcerers truly any better than curses when the higher ups send young teens to die from the comfort of an unspecified location, making decisions that cost lives they never see as more than tools to exploit?
Another idea touched on is what does it mean to be the strongest, how does one achieve that status. How do you reach through the loneliness of absolute strength, and should you even choose to do so? Is it better to be selfish and care about nothing more than your own life and power? Or is it better to build up strong Ally’s to make changes 1 person never can, even the strongest person alive?
Another idea touched on you can read into is Selfishness vs Selflessness. Not just between curses and sorcerers, but in sorcerer society itself. Being selfless led Nanami to a gruesome death, a kind man who sought to preserve the innocence of the children fighting beside him, and being selfish let Mei Mei escape shibuya and profit off of the coming chaos from the comfort of the very place nanami wanted to spend vacation at.
I could go on but you get the idea, there’s a lot you can consider “that deep” if you wanna look into it
@@jadenrobinson1561 To add to what the other guy said. Death is a huge theme in JJK. JJK is about coming to terms with yourself and valuing yourself. Yuji's grandpa taught Yuji to respect others so that he can die surrounded by others on his deathbed. It is constantly said that no sorcerer dies without regrets in the series and that is because no sorcerer is able to take hold of their inner desires and accept themselves.
The more you go through JJK the more you notice a fascinating trend. That trend is that the "selfish" people, which are often the villains, are constantly rewarded by the story. If you have a strong sense of self and understanding of what it is that makes you you, the world of JJK will reward you time and time again. You can do heinous shit like Sukuna, but if you have a strong sense of self, the narrative aligns with your ideals. On the flip side, the selfless are constantly punished over and over again. If you notice, the "good side" has almost never caught a real W and that maintains all the way through to where we are in the manga, barring one character.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about JJK to me is that it is a postmodernist story, which means it has a ton and I mean a ton of meta themes all throughout the story. What Gege Akutami has managed to do with JJK is essentially blur the lines between fiction and reality. This may seem crazy and bullshit to some, but it absolutely holds validity within JJK. A postmodernist story is one that basically throws out the idea of fact or objective truth. The world of JJK seems simple, it's just japan and curses and sorcerers inhabit it right? Well the more you think about it and get to the root of what these characters represent, the more you realize that the world of JJK seems off, almost like it doesn't feel like a story, it almost feels real in a way, like you can't really imagine a human making something like this. Sukuna is the biggest example as to why JJK is a postmodernist story.
Essentially, Gege has written Sukuna in a way that his character is completely immune to the readers perception or interpretation of him. When experiencing a story how you perceive a character is what that character becomes. Pretty much, the reader's mind defines the story and its world. Well, Sukuna is not under the control of the reader in this same way with how he's written. Your perception of Sukuna cannot define him in any way. Sure, you can have your thoughts about him, but it doesn't change who he is, similar to real person. Sukuna has an agency over himself and the world of JJK that I've never seen before and it goes beyond simply being strong. In a weird way Sukuna is above the story itself, the story bends the knee to Sukuna and serves him and does whatever Sukuna wants. The narrator herself doesn't even fully understand Sukuna. Sukuna is even above you, as the reader/watcher. Which is actually really weird, but also fascinating to think about. A really interesting idea that I've seen people discuss is that Sukuna isn't a fictional character made by Gege Akutami, moreso the Sukuna we see in JJK is the mythological legend "Ryomen Sukuna". This legend was grabbed and dropped within the pages of JJK and now that legend has free will to do whatever he wants with the characters and world Gege created. A video by Radman fully delves into this much better than I can in a youtube comment, but the video features HEAVY spoilers for the manga, so don't watch it if you not caught up.
There's also the idea or theory that the narrator herself will play a role in the story because of the fact that the narrator within JJK is an unreliable narrator which is often seen with postmoderism.

Factz Curses are made from humans but when mahito says him and yuji are the same they truly are cuz yuji is technically born from a curse while magito is the opposite
Not really, evil for us not them. Mahito was right that itadori is just like him but they're just on opposite sides. They're only doing what's natural to them to fuel their instincts. Yeah, like even if I enjoyed the story, I wouldn’t know because I’ve been spoiled on like every big moment by manga readers, so at this point I sorta just watch it for the spectacle like Demon Slayer.
It’s like the biggest reason I prefer CSM personally (the manga specifically). While the fights and action scenes aren’t as crazy or hype, the characters and the story the author wants to tell resonate a lot more with me and feel more special overall. JJK’s story and cast are solid, but the abilities and fights are like 85% of the appeal.
i thought i was the only person in the world to feel like this. I agree as well, the fights and character deaths are cool and all but I don't feel now way about them. They toss a background story last minute, right before the person dies to make us feel bad but it doesn't give as much impact if we already knew these characters story and watched them grow beforehand. Tbh, it's a bit overrated.

For anyone saying JJK is just fights read this if you have time.
JJK is actually a very complex story that can actually be difficult to wrap your head around sometimes. The reader does have to actually dig in order to understand what the hell a lot of stuff means or why its relevant for the themes of JJK.
To start with the most simple and obvious theme, yet often forgot about by some and that is death. Death is a huge theme within JJK not because Gege Akutumi wanted to write a story with an abundance of stakes and consequences (which actually is a plus for the series as these consequences drive the characters to destinations that give a certain richness to the series' themes), but the reason for why death is such a prominent theme within JJK is because Gege wishes to highlight life and how precious it is. JJK is one of the most gut wrenching, yet beautiful stories I've ever read.
The more you go through JJK the more you notice a fascinating trend. That trend is that the "selfish" people, which are often the villains, are constantly rewarded by the story. The person y’all talking about her death was instant the anime slowed it down for viewers and she had to be killed because not only was she a direct counter for mahito she was also a counter for geto since the ability attacks the soul similar to Yuji if you let them grow and get stronger they become a bigger problem for special grades

@flockaveli15 Dawg, Chapter 144 is when Gege confirms that's shit, whenter we like it or not. Anime is gonna add more depth to Yuji but that's how I always took her death confirmation
Ik it's too late for this but I do wanna clear up some things about Daima. Its only 2.5 original arcs in the manga after 5 years and it's not really that good. The amount of content that is out in the manga is about enough for 24 episodes or 6months of weekly content (JJK S2 for perspective) before they have to do another break for who knows how long. Daima exists to have something in between Super Hero and the next film. It's a web series and not a TV series meaning they have a little more freedom, behind the scenes the production staff is some of the best at Toei and the reasoning for them being kids is so they cant go crazy with the powers and have to actually fight with their hands. This show is going to be an animation flex full of fight scenes and new places we've never seen before. Toriyama was already a multi millionaire before he ever drew the first chapter of Dragon Ball, so he's definitely not doing it for the bag and moreso because he wants to tell a new story. so far everything he has worked closely on has been really good. Ik it's still gonna be people that aren't tryna hear all this and still gonna hate but it's gonna be live and dare I say better than the first season of super.
Also Toriyama not writing the Super manga. He gives notes and Toyotaro takes them and makes his story based off it. That's why there was so many differences from the anime. Even in the Super Hero recap

TONY BACKIN UP BRAWLHALLA GANG 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Not too much on Hell's Paradise please, i binge read it and loved it haha
It’s really good, but I could see maybe finding it less interesting if you couldn’t read or watch it all at once. It’s definitely my favorite of the dark trio though

Mark has been coughing on streams for a while now 😂
love this Tony x rdc collab
Bro I can’t believe people are still saying Naruto vs pain was badly animated. Objectively speaking any animator will tell you that is incorrect. You can say you don’t like the style but the animation for that fight is some of the most incredibly ANIMATED moments in anime history. Saying shingo yamashita, norio Matsumoto and kenichi kutsuna can’t animate is what you’re saying when you say the fight was not well animated. It’s funny cause these people literally have given us some of the best animated things ever
I can’t wait for hakari to be introduced man
Tony really just be saying shit like it’s his own thoughts when he actually just read the manga.
The reason Tengen’s fight had to come first is cus it shows how some hashira are on a different level. Like these two made light work of higher ranked kizuki cus they’re just like that
Tony was about to get the good Ole RDC jumping because he likes Mahito
Loved seeing all the tower of god representation in the chat today good work 🤝
does rdc talk about webtoons? Solo levelling is exactly the kind of thing they like
Yooo, who does the Art for your Dark Lights!?
It looks good.
22:04 lmfao this nigga hilarious, mark side eyeing was perfect too 😂

I’ve been looking for this comment. People sleeping on Two Blue Vortex
thank you fr shits crazy@@y2j830
Best back and forth, Tony got valid points and we need more of him on these mfs
dark lights was type colddddd ngl ❄️❄️
next jjk episode gonna be crazy
JJK’s power system’s intricacy is second only to Hunter X Hunter
Nah
HxH on top
It might be over HxH ngl
@@TaIIerdont even cap like that jjk glaze is crazy
Stands?
Jjk brings that naruto feeling back in terms of likeable characters great boxing and high stakes like season 1 of naruto you thought it was up for anybody besides naruto and sasuke fr jjk does the same thing any given time somebody stronger can pop out of nowhere and take a character out and you feel emotionally attached cuz you know somebody can die unlike a one piece where you see people go through struggles but you know none of the straw hats ever taking a true L fr
Yo love the anime content but can you guys talk about Bleach TYBW pls
I finished season 2 of JJK a week ago I loved it
* Possibly Spoilers
Pretty sure Itadori's Divergent Fist is not his cursed technique. It is just putting cursed energy around his fists along with sukuna buff. Itadori doesn't truly have a technique yet, recently people started to think he could awaken them soon.
You’re correct, it’s not a cursed technique. It’s just an adaptation he made for a bad habit. Right now the theory is that he has some kind of soul manipulation power.
there is no Sukuna buff. this isn't Naruto. Sukuna's soul being in Yuji's body doesn't give Yuji a powerup...he's just in his body, thats it.
Most of the jjk cast are dawgsss. Doesnt matter if they're outmatched indefinitely they are ready to throw hands. Yuuji, Nobara, Megumi, Panda, Maki, Todo, mechamaru literally all of them never backed down from a fight even if they were most likely going to lose. Thats not even the entire list.
Tony act like there’s not other anime’s with guns😂😂🔥
Yall tweakin blue exorcist is heat
Honestly I love Mahito. Such an amazing villain 🥰
16:30 I can't believe Tony would say some dumb shit like that after making some pretty solid points. Jojo might have more chapters than One Piece, but that says nothing about the "pacing" of either show. The chapter density isn't even comparable. One Piece has so much more information and world building it needs to fit in to properly tell the story. Jojo has had fights where a singular move takes up 7 pages. That is almost half a chapter for 1 attack and we are saying one piece has horrible pacing? Not to mention Jojo is written in parts that are pretty much separate stories. One piece is one continuous story. The shit people will pull out of their asses to make their anime better than another one is actually sad. Why can't 2 different things still be good anymore? It's always a contest of what show is better than another show.
anyone else gotta rewatch certain shows to get ready for new seasons or show like blue exorcist i forgot the entire show or like when the new bleach series came out i had to rewatch the last couple seasons of bleach to refresh my mind but shows like naruto and one piece have a staple in my mind only two shoes to ever make me tear up and almost cry fr😂😂
Cleanest discussion
Nah, its cause Yuji literally built different
the hiori part was the same in the manga but it didn't feel like it because most people just skipped that part lol
you litterly just gotta get to part 2 of jojos and y'all gonna love it
Naruto vs pain animation type scenes just get me hype cuz I think of it as the fight being so crazy and characters moving so outlandish that it can’t be animated normally lol
I agree with his problems with the gear 5 episode 1. But I think that it was def made up for with the heart beat episode and def before the last punch. 🗣️🗣️
Ayyye I caught this shit within 30 seconds of posting!! Love y’all
Ooh, there’s so much in manga coming))))
Pain fight animation was mad tuff definitely for the time it came out
