Not just that, 18 matches in 57 days ran us into the ground. We would've had more points with those two, but playing City in the 15th after playing in the 13th, when they've been resting since the 8th says it all about how the FA wanted things to play out.

Addition of Lukaku to this chelsea squad is the biggest mistake of the decade. Not only he is trash but he is also spoiling the mood in locker room. He is making players revolt against Tuchel. These same players had no problem with him when until Lukaku got frustated because he knew he can't succeed in PL.
You lie, many of the players were frustrated with him before Lukaku arrived.

I see Alonso as a centre forward. man will be dangerous with his feet and bang goals like never before.
Cant agree more. TT should try him there one day. He has very good striking left foot/offensive mindset, he would also give very good assists to other forward players. I remember Mourinho at times in 2004/05 seaason deploying Robert Huth at some points in the match as a striker even in some UCL matches to great effect. Sometimes adventure is good to confuse opposition.

Trevor Chalobah's first goal is a goal ill never forget, what a moment. Christensen's first goal was also a great moment, his first chelsea goal after being with us for many seasons. That is also an unforgettable moment.

Chelsea's season wouldn't be hindered as it is now if their attackers could finally start scoring consistently. Defenders scoring goals is a bonus and a good thing to have but when a team starts relying on the goals of their defenders instead of their forwards, that's when a team finds it hard to win games consistently (as Chelsea are experiencing now).
What a defense we have when we are fully fit!! Our future defense shd be Rudi, Kounde, Sule, Chilly, Reece, Chalobah and Sarr WOULD BE FYAAAHHHH🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Losing Ben and Reece wrecked our season so bad, that and the insane 18 matches in 57 days when others were getting days off and fixtures postponed. Playing City on the 15th of Jan after playing on the 13th was infuriating, less than 48 hr turnaround, especially when they've been resting since the 8th. We were top and everyone conspired to bring us down.

Tuchel is starting to blame the players....that is interesting considering he knows how much loyalty Chelsea has for managers....
@@andrew348 And I've been blaming Tuchel since late last season. Defensively we've been superb. I will grant him that. But the attack has sputtered badly under TT, and it's down to him to find a working formula. The players don't set the tactics of the style of play. If TT can't solve this, find someone who can. I can tell you right now that Carlo or Conte would have this figured out by now.

@@todwest Plus Pulisic and CHO are inconsistent, Werner is frantic in front of goal, Havertz and Ziyech can be light weights; this was the case under Lampard as well. The players need to pull up their socks becuz they haven’t convinced
