Mūkusala Business District - Future Torņakalns Station Walkability

Wanted to see how long it takes to go from Mukusalas business district area to the place where there will be the new train station after Rail Baltica project is done in this area. As I thought it does not actually take that much time and it is pretty walkable

I think they (Riga city developers, LU campus developers, etc) should make a concerted effort to build up the entire area around the station, to raise street level above the future platforms, for better accessibility and all... The place is indeed swampy. Digging down in that, to build the underground multi-storey car parks - that's backwards, when there's an opportunity to dig less.
