I'm amazed you went for the last one with not a cup of milk in sight to help put out the heat. Congrats again on the wedding, you both look lovely together.
Aww that was soo cute and funny to watch at the same time too! So cool you played Chop suey! We had "walk this way" and it rained in summer too! I love seeing pictures of you in that dress! Very fairytale. Congratulations again! The hottest we have growing here is a Thai Dragon. I have been returning to spices after being pregnant but it took some time. Our child is now able to have cayenne pepper and red hot chilli peppers. I normal over winter our but trying to grow them from saved seeds to have fresh ones this year.
Seeing Dan have his serotonin buzz from the capsaicin was an interesting documentation to get on film. This seems to be the addiction to the heat of chillis perfectly captured on video! I was so caught in my thoughts regarding Avians and their perception, or lack there of, to heat I failed to congratulate you both on your marriage 🎉🎊🎈🎀🎁🔔🔔
Great tasting session with Dan the chilli man . I loved it when the music changed in anticipation of the armageddon chilli. Well done on another excellent video and I notice your following is rising steadily.
I grew some super hots called hallows eve beautiful chill but it was deadly hot. Its a naga crossed with a habanero. Growing some cherry bombs this year they are good for cooking first and then stuffing with cream cheese and putting in jars with olive oil.
Great vid Katrina, love that as newly weds you do something different, im not a chilli fan but that was great to watch, tears and kitchen roll, great viewing, much love to the happy and hot (chilli eating) couple.
Well done to you both, that Armageddon will make an amazing sauce! Maybe ferment it with lots of brambles as a base for a fruity sauce. Hottest chillies I'm growing this year are 7 Pot Primo, Fatalii, and I'm attempting to grow some monster Dorset Nagas, in pots, in ground, and hydroponically. Short season here in N.E. Scotland though!
Congratulations 🍾. I have been a big chilli grower for several years. I still have not got past scotch bonnet, so big praise to you both. ( however I am growing ice n fire this year).
Just to jump in here, you are correct in your thought that indeed Avians cannot perceive the heat in chillis and can happily demolish Armageddon chillis all day long without consequence 👌♥️
I’m LMBO at that last chili! No way! I think the hottest one I’m growing this year is the Datil, and I would never eat it raw. It’s for seasoning only. Thanks for sharing! 😊
I totally agree with you last year was my best ever for chillies & the first quarter of growing period the weather was not ideal for them.I am not as brave has both of you or is the hotness a practice thing.
Hello, Yes Birds are fine with Chillies... Although most will avoid them due to the smell. I have a Robin that eats my chillies in the tunnel. The Capsicum doesn't affect them. They're really good to give to chickens. Chickens get health benefits from them. Chicken owners will feed their flock hot peppers to support their immune system, boost their egg production, stop other birds from eating their feed, or even for de-worming. Congrats on the Marriage. Enjoy life. :)
Bonus content. Love it! *This was so funny, I too love Hot ones and every time your husband raised his hand I screamed "don't touch your eyes" 😂 Also playing SOAD at your wedding? I love you 🤘
Really enjoyed the video, you’re both so brave! I think the jalapeño would have been my limit, I weirdly go kind of deaf whenever I eat something very hot 😂 apparently it’s something to do with the blood vessels in your ears. I guess some people are more affected than others by it! Did it happen to you on the super hot ones?
Would Armageddon maybe work better in a sauce, diluted with heatless ones like Bell? That intense fruity flavor sounds like it would make a good flavorful hot sauce!
I have only recently found you and have loved binge watching many many of videos. Congratulations on your wedding guys! I cried at the video. ❤. May i ask what variety yoir ginkgo tree is in the container please. I want to replace my magnolias which have lost all theie buds this year. I think it's the mild weather and now the hard frosts. Id like something that will not cause me a disappointment haha
I'd be no good at this. I tend to shy away from Jalapenos. They are about as hot as I can handle,so you have my upmost respect. It doesn't put me off growing chillies however. As you say they are so ornamental looking, especially in terracotta pots.
I don't see the point in this or growing so many super hot chili (one L) peppers. You can only use so many jars of hot sauce and people get tired of being given jars of it for Christmas presents. I grow poblano for flavor and jalapenos or serranos for heat. Anything hotter is just waste of garden space.
That was 3 yrs ago, holy cow. I think your wedding dress was the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Congrats! You guys make a lovely couple!🎉

Thanks to both of you taking the time to taste test the chilis and sharing your wedding pics and stories. Nice video. 🎉

Didn't you guys like have fire allover your hands and everything else you touched because I kept seeing hubby touch his face and hair 😂

It’s a ginkgo biloba but if you want to keep it in a pot Gingko biloba ‘Troll’ is more suitable as it stays small. Thanks for watching!
@@homegrowngarden thanks so much for the reply
Aaww, you two make a nice couple ❤
Yall are braver than I am. I like a little accent heat to my foods not a fire bomb going off in it. Take care you two.
Fantastisch Good video katriena the chilli thans te vlog grootste thans te vlog 👍🎈🌱🌷🌤🌶🍹

Love this 🤣😘
CRAZY, why!!!!!
Congratulation! Very brave
Congratulations
Apologies if you say in your video, but when do you tend to sow your chillies?
I sow mine mid-February so now is a great time ☺️
@@homegrowngarden thanks very much. I've just done mine tonight.
You have a good looking husband anyway. Good looking and brave! 😊
Chilli's but no milk? :P
Just one question...why??? 😂
Why don't you have a glass of milk handy to help kill the burn?
We did bring a bottle but it’s out of shot 😁 Too much milk after hot chillies and make for a funny tummy and we didn’t need it in the end.
You poor sweet things 😢😢😢!
Getting high with Foy and Katrina🌶️
One question .... WHY?? ....why would you do such a thing ?? Crazy kids!
Sorry but 😂😅 x
I think a glass of milk to hand might have been a good idea!😡

We’re big fans of hot sauce over here 😉🔥 It gets a bit addictive!
@@homegrowngarden 👍
Why aren’t you doing your normal plot videos to be honest I’d rather see you on plot not eating chillis

Great video, really enjoyed. It's good to see you sampling your own produce.
