@@JSmon Hey Joseph, I've noticed that there's no walkthrough of Clifford The Big Red Dog: Phonics on your channel, so just in case if you're interested, there are still some copies of the game on amazon, just so you know.
I like that they put in real dog sounds for Clifford, as opposed to using John Ritter's, um, AWFUL dog vocals from the show. Now, don't get me wrong. John Ritter, the comedian that he is, did a pretty good job voicing Clifford, and I was sorry to hear that he passed away. I felt like when he died, the series died, as he was the star of the show, and no new Big Red Dog episodes from the original series were produced after that, until now, that is. Maybe that was because he did such a good job, they didn't want anybody else to do it and foul it up. I don't know. Anyway as far as Clifford's speaking roles are concerned, he was OK, but the dog vocals were TERRIBLE. You could tell that was a person doing that. It would have been better if they used real dog vocals like what they did in this game. By the way, what type of dog is Clifford? What breed of dog is he supposed to be? Does anybody know?
That's cool they got some of the voice actors from the original series to do this, but the characters look like they did in the original books as opposed to what they looked like on the original show. And I pointed out those voice actors from the show as I was watching this video. Great mix! You got the best of both worlds blended in with this game. In my honest opinion, this is what they should do for the upcoming 2019 Clifford reboot, and they better not foul up the designs or the personalities of these characters either.
That's great. Now, my next question is will they use the same theme song from the original TV series, or will they use the "Go, Clifford, Go!" track from the 1988 VHS series. That's what I wanna know. Because with DuckTales, the 2017 reboot used the same theme song that was used in the original series, but with a different arrangement. I hope they do that same thing for Clifford. I hope they use Mark Mothersbaugh and Josh Mancell's Clifford theme from the 2000s show, but this time give it more of that island sound. They are on an island after all, and you can't get any more island, as far as music goes, than reggae, calypso, ska, Caribbean--styles like that. It would be cool if they did the theme reggae style, and give it that same sound as the ARTHUR theme song. Perhaps, maybe they could get Ziggy Marley to perform it, like he did with ARTHUR. I don't know, just a thought. What do you think? One thing's for sure, they better not do what was done in the 2015 Alvin and the Chipmunks reboot where they used the original 1983 "We're the Chipmunks" theme, and cut it short. They did a DeeTown remix of that song; they should've used that version instead. Again, that's just my opinion, what do you think?
@@JSmon You know, it doesn't really matter. It seems like each level is essentially similar to one another, except with more books on the shelf to start with, but it's still your job to help Clifford and his friends to win tickets and get a prize from... the claaaaaw! 😂😂 Sorry, couldn't resist. I meant, the claw game.
I remember playing this game when I was in elementary school.
When Clifford sneezed did anyone notice the roof come undone from the house.
This opened so many memories a didnt know i have. I love it, thank you!
You're welcome. :)
It's like the blue cruiser is clicking in everything and everywhere from the scenes of Dora the Explorer in every episode.
I still remember the ABC song, the melody, and the ending. Brought tears to my eyes. This is my childhood right here! 41:53
Aww.
Me too
who DOESNT sing the abc song like that lol?
This Song Sucks as Hell!!!
I remember playing this game when I was a little. Me and my older brother would play this game on my Parents Computer
I remember playing this game quite a long time ago! Thanks for the walkthrough!
Glad to hear that. You're welcome. :)
Who was that guy playing Mr. Darnelle?
Frank Welker?

The Bleakmans from the TV Show! Earl Boen (Horace) and Edie McClurg (Violet)
Interesting Fact: The actress who played Monique (Jodi Carlisle) also played Mary Ann Thornberry from “The Wild Thornberrys”.
“Poachers…”
Really I never knew that
Paramount Pictures is making a Live-Action Clifford movie this November
Sesame Street is the best day
Emily Elizabeth has the same deep voice for Wubbzy in the second season of his show.
I feel the nostalgia
This had Grey Griffin as Emily Elizabeth.
She later voiced Lola and Lana Loud from the Loud House.
@@jacobvanantwerp2001 And Lily as well.
@@CarlosGutierrez-di7xj Oh, right.
@@CarlosGutierrez-di7xj Also, this was before she got engaged--this game was released back in 2000.
They also had VA's for the Clifford The Big Red Dog (2000) TV show.
I remember this game since 1st grade.
E is a vowel Emily Elizabeth that means it has a long sound and a short sound
For the purpose of beginner reading in this game, they only used the short sounds.
The guy playing Emily Elizabeth's dad in the scene sounds like Fred from SCOOBY-DOO! That's not Cam Clarke; that's Frank Welker! OMG!
This style is like in Dora the Explorer in Funline Animation Inc.
34:32 Spell the word Cake. I put candles on the cake.
Clifford's Puppy Days Watching

The scene at 41:52 kinda reminds me of Dora the Explorer a little bit, especially with Emily Elizabeth's line delivery.
