We’re Doug and Jamie - an aussie / american couple who love adventures, good food and exploring new places. For the past few years we have be using what we’ve had to explore more of Australia - which wasn’t much. But in 2020 we upgraded Doug’s work van and it now doubles as our home on wheels part time. 2022 was the year we decided it needed a makeover so we jumped into a big van build series over the winter, ready to hit spring in our new setup! Our hope for this channel is to grow a community of likeminded people and to inspire others to jump in the drivers seat of their own life (pun intended) and create their own magic. And after surviving life in one of the most lockdown cities in the world the last few years, we are back in action ready to share our adventures!

It IS amazing that people would steal from families trying to earn an income!
Btw, on those dirt roads with the big ruts, consider dropping your tyre pressures by 10psi, will give you better grip- and far less likely to puncture- and also give you a far better ride. (But you would have to take a tyre compressor)
All in all, beautiful place to camp and hang out ❤

Sailors Grave brewery is absolutely fantastic - they make some really cool one-offs that are delicious! Plus their can design is stupendous (I pick beer based on the can because why not)

The way that jar of honey was being waved around I was expecting the lid to fly off😂 yes, love those roadside stalls, and guys, please learn to carry cash! As for modern farming-😟😳 destroyers of the environment 💯! Yes, I enjoy seaweed snacks😁 and have camped right next to a highway and survived. That little spot looked nice and best of all you didn’t have to share it!

i know we usually do carry the cash its so important to us! i guess it was just one of those days we didn't have any. yeah we were super lucky that no one else pulled up. part of the luck of mid week i guess. no other campers. but also the brewery isn't open haha.
