Ride the Lightning by Metallica - Guitar Chart Comparison [+FCs] (Rock Band/Fortnite Festival)

- These charts have next to nothing in common, the way Fortnite incorporates hopo chords and really treats chords with more consideration in general. The solos are incredibly different, RB using a zig pattern for the start, and FNF using the ascending trips, which feel more accurate to me. Ride the Lightning was a VERY early release for Harmonix, being that it came out in November 2007. Unfortunately it is no longer available for purchase, but I was lucky enough to get it via homeshare. I would say in pretty much every department, the Fortnite chart is superior and I don't think many people would disagree.

You can feel the Rock Band 1 in the left chart with the chronic undercharting.
As a guitar player the FN Festival chart is a lot more accurate to how the song is actually played. The most obvious mistake is the lack of sustain notes in RB4 @ 1:25. Totally off in RB4. The whole chart is much more realistic in FN, i could go on and on about the improvements
It feels so weird looking back on Rockband and seeing how choppy the FPS was then and seeing games now like Fortnite with how smooth it became.
FN festival is much better than the other one. It has more notes so it must be more realistic.
Realistic? Both is 5 frets
Wanna realistic? Rocksmith
And I love Clone Hero , Rock Band , Yarg etc.... so no do not cry
@@Technijk.Profitrealistic as in, closer to how the song is actually played, not realistic as in literally pro instruments or rocksmith
@@Technijk.Profit0:41 look the max score you can get till this stamp and compare. RB4 is undercharted.Notes in RB are less than Festival
@@Technijk.Profit2:54 crazy guitar solo is very different
Closest we'll ever get to updating a chart like they did with TTFAF
That’s a Rock Band 1 chart alright.
The Rock Band chart at 2:55 for the fast solo is definitely charted wrong.
due to the both engine and and chart. i prefer RB4 than FNF
Lol.FN has better chart.More notes, better guitar solo
Ngl I feel like it's harder to hit notes on festival for some reason compared to, say, clone hero
@@completerandomness4342timing window, is probably the biggest reason, it's a lot like rock band, much tighter and precise compared to how clone hero feels loose
@@joaquingonzalez834 I played around a bit, and found my problem. I got on Green Day Rock Band and found out that strumming without pressing any notes gives you a small grace period to press that note in particular, or you miss it. Fortnite doesn't have that grace period, so whenever you strum, that's it, that's your input.
@@joaquingonzalez834 idk why I didn't use rock band instead of clone hero for my example, it's obviously closer to fnf 😭
Fn Festival Definitely Has Better Charting.
I feel like Fortnite is more correct than Rock Band
rockband 4 is much better than FN Festival
The chart or the game itself?
@@NathanResiDrumsI’d say both
Track is definitely better in festival. Lol.Nostalgia was mental illness before. And I see in here that something before was better but it's not
@@NathanResiDrumshe says nonsense. RB4 version is undercharted and less creative than FN.Juat some fanatic of old rhythm games
@@sandansaiyan5675 animations, graphics, "notes" Rockband 4 is much better.
FN feels slow and laggy compared to rockband 4
