Probably my favorite build thatâll be back when merciless is re-enabled. Distressing-Unnerving Presence-Merciless Storm-Deadlock. Add-ons are as you take them since the build is predicated on chasing chasing and more chasing. I initially ran the build to get more practice chasing but I found that the build perfectly encapsulates the idea of âfuck the gens Iâm gonna chase this guyâ I can appreciate the more common builds and even shadowborn but Iâm honestly too much of a build crafter to ever give up the perk slot.
Out of any build with wesker this is the one I donât feel like has ever failed me, Iâve failed it. Of course survs may expect merciless with unnerving but certain scenarios can catch them off guard and give you more time from that gen, bring with deadlock and mistakes on gens become two-fold with a single gen getting usually the full merciless block time and if youâre lucky an extra 30 seconds blocked. Doesnât always pan out but a gen that shouldâve popped a chase and a half ago is still blocked and you got another hook.
Potentially even a single gen can get 2 deadlocks and a nearly done gen has become a time sink that a survivor has wasted too much time on. In all honesty the build flips the script on the value of killer time IMO.

@@crohmbs the build doesnât have a whole lot of legs to move on in terms of info, youâre always going to be cutting it close to the wire with merciless but you can gens from popping under your nose as if you had a budget tinkerer. Good luck

sound pretty sick as a concept and even better in practice
tho preference wise I'd prolly switch Deadlock or Merciless with SB just cause it feels nicer BUT I'm used to both of Wesker's FOVs (with and without Shadowborn)

@@Foxy2000 Abso abso, Iâve been playing higher mmr as of the past few days so I would actually recommend Deadlock-Pop-BBQ-Lethal if youâre hoping for a more sustainable build.

Why is shadowborn used on a lot of wesker players
high mobility killers tend to be those that attract shadowborn addicts, higher fov can be very nice when making quick decisions in chase

Somewhat old vid so I doubt Iâll get many replies, but my current Wesker build is:
BBQ
Surveillance
Overcharge
Deadlock
Deadlock and Overcharge for gen regression and slowdown, Surveillance and BBQ for information. Used to have Brutal replacing BBQ but I feel like having information is very valuable for Wesker given how easily he can traverse the map. Had a fair few wins with this build and even when I didnât get a win I usually got a 1-2k.
Overcharge I use primarily because it synergies with Surveillance pretty well. Most gen-regression perks mark the gens aura (CoB, Eruption, etc.) which goes against Surveillances whole purpose, so Overcharge has proven to be useful.
Surveillance and BBQ are good for pressure and map information, since I can tell which gens are ok to leave and which I should pressure while also having an idea where far off Survivors might be.
Iâm not all that good at Wesker techs save for rebounding unfortunately, but hopefully with time I can learn urobends which will prolly make bounds more deadly. Not too sure on hug techs though.
builds solid for sure, never really liked surveillance for info i prefer something like lethal/floods of rage for info but a well balanced build for sure
Yeah recently switched Overcharge and BBQ out for Floods of Rage and Gift of Pain, trying those perks out to see if they work better. Kept Surveillance and Deadlock though since Iâve had a lot of value out of those perks.
Dude, i dont know why no one uses lightborn đ its so good against flashlight saves!
flashlights are USUALLY easy to evade so people don't think it's worth the perk slot
