Ocarinas are spherical or container type instruments, usually round and wide, but they can also be wide cylinders or wide squares, or as long as they’re wide and closed at the end, not opened on the end like a flute that will give it a sound much like an owl, voice.

i have been hunting for a wooden ocarina like this for ages, you are the only one i could find who makes them, i look forward to buying one, i already have oodles of ceramics but i...find them shrill lol

Well I play and I research what I play when I make is the same thing as my concert instruments so I don’t screw around and I don’t make them out of wood wood as a pan in the butt. Bamboo is already hollow and so is Gourd I make them out of clay too. I don’t have a studio right now but the bamboo ones sound just as good if not better than the ones made out of clay And they last forever just take care of them. I have base ones that are actually not so basic they’re just a little lower like in the lower how I said like in sort of upper medium base range let me know visit Etsy.com/shop/ancestralsound
