I have had these speakers for over a year now, along with the PMO.4 and a single older 6301 (how I ended up with a complete Fostex monitoring solution in my studio is beyond me! LOL!). Overall these things absolutely rock. I mix "classic" rock, country, new age, smooth jazz & lounge.
Mixes transfer very well. Vocals are not edgy or strident, even in my small 10'x11' treated bedroom studio. The low end is solid, not boomy. I am thinking of grabbing a sub because it does not go super low. Overall the PM641 are, for me, a great studio monitor.
Side note, the Mid-High components look exactly like the low-high components of the PMO.4's I own....exactly. I opened up the 641's to find out, and was pleasantly surprised at the construction of the speakers. The mid-highs are in their own sealed enclosure. It is well built, completely sealed, with excellent craftsmanship. And it is only a few mm off of the cubic size of the PMO.4's volume.....hmm...
If you find a pair in the $225 to 300 range, I would say jump on them. The 841 would be my first choice now that I have used these, but overall if you are looking for a 3-way monitor, this is a good one to look at!

Actually 3way active sounds system results of quality which frequency listeners wants cuts and boost
It's depending active pre-amplifier which have 3 band bypass and cut filters
Then 3 different power amplifiers separately powered to tweeter, Mid range, woofers

Believe me these things are good. Adams, Genelec, Focus and so on are better, but at the same power 4 X the price.

This is a poor "review" of what I know are very good monitors. It's such a pity that the music example is electronica. It proves nothing. Videoing an omnidirectional or figure eight (mono) recording of a live band similar to the way John Mellencamp's "No Better Than This" was done, and having that recording sent directly to the recorder, then replaying the recording through the Fostex into the same mic, set on cardioid at the mixing listening point, would be a far better gauge of their quality, and I'm betting that it would teach newcomers and experienced recordists a lot, along with generating an interest in recording and listening education. Recording a live acoustic band in stereo the same way and reproducing it the same way would show the separation and depth of soundstage. In the end, though, the online listener needs decent speakers or high end headphones.
