This is an interesting topic, since my parents came here illegally and are now us citizens, so giving illegal immigrants free shit isn’t okay, most of the Mexicans that I know are pretty hard work and what they earn in this country is fair since they sacrificed working two jobs, time away from their kids and leaving their families behind, most of the immigrants that I know also pay taxes, but they aren’t given the same benefits us citizens can get, because of lack of social security numbers, they can get an ITIN number to finance in certain places, and have bank accounts and stuff, I’d actually be done to do an interview on with y’all about this topic for questions y’all may have, @strawberrypark
I don’t know about this one guys. As a Latino we’re all my family are immigrants, this is a very hard subject to talk about or understand unless you are put into or sounded by people in this situation. It is very easy as an American to say we accept legal immigrants and trust me all immigrants wish they could come here legally but that’s not the case. I know for my family if my father did not leave when he did, he could of been killed or stripped of everything back in his home country. Coming here illegally is usually there last resort so they do it knowing this is there only opportunity.

@@masonelsinger8000 But nobody is accommodating for them, the labor that many immigrants do hold up the infrastructure of the united states. Illegal immigrants are probably partly responsible for a large portion of the food you’ve eaten and the buildings you’ve been inside, as well as the labor you’ve benefitted from. It’s a tough situation and there’s not necessarily a right answer but have some sympathy. Many of the countries you say are lacking are in that situation because of the actions of the United States

Honestly I disagree, having someone in your personal space is a totally different thing. Would you also say if someone off the bat said no I don’t want illegal immigrants in our country it means they don’t care if people die on the streets? I have mixed opinions on this situation but it goes both ways.

Hmm I disagree with some parts. I understand the sentiment that if you want immigrants in the country then you should realistically understand the distribution of resources but accepting them being in the country is not the same as wanting them in your house. If you didn’t want someone (even a citizen) in your house would that then mean you don’t want them in the country? No, that wouldn’t make sense. This is not a fair comparison. Also, willingness to accept someone in your home takes time to plan and figure out, so asking on the spot isn’t an accurate enough assessment for some people.
I think what they’re getting at is these people are saying come on in legally or not, but they aren’t willing to help the immigrants themselves and think it’s fine for everyone else to do so. I believe it’s more of it’s a struggle to take care of people born in our country and that we don’t necessarily have the systems in place to support legal immigrants let alone illegal immigrants.

It's the fact that you're paying for their housing, etc. Americans pay their taxes so they can get public services. Illegal immigrants don't pay taxes and yet they get everything for free (even more than those who came legally). It's not fair.

i not normally the type to say something in most situations but i do disagree wit yall or more id like to debate your claims. Rhino said oh well what about the other people that came here legally and had to fight hard for their citizenship. I agree everyone struggles. But also think about the people that were already born here with citizenship that are living on the streets? People from thailand or europe ofc are not gonna try and immigrate to the US becausethey physically can’t. Unless they got really good swimming lessons and lungs of steel. immigrants should maybe not get free housing but shouldn’t be looked at as criminals or bad people. If they are here its to work hard and make money(most of them) and send funds back to their families in the country that they had to leave behind. We as americans find it easy to get mad when we have to pay taxes but a person from another country who struggles to put food on the table has no other choice. Fortunately for then they dont have to pay taxes. Fortunately for us Americans we dont have to worry about having a future. We choose to not have a future. As an immigrant from Mexico that went to school and graduated and have my own family and my own place I don't really like this video because when my parents brought me over here we were living with my dad's family for free until we got our own place and I have done the same with some of my cousins and they are now working and living on their own all thanks to me and they were so grateful for it that they actually gave me some money when they got their own place.

The issue starts in there home countries. These people leave for opportunity. Now SO many people are coming. But now all these systems are backed up, the journey is incredibly dangerous. The system struggles to catch illegals folks but holds up the legals. And from most immigrants, they left everything and have nothing to loose. If they could put some money in there pockets and provide for love ones it’s a win. If they go home it’s worse 🤷🏽♂️. Unless your a dealer they wouldn’t want to “come illegally” and risk loose again. But it all depends.

I’m from the UK and we have a huge issue with illegal immigration, I believe they should be allowed in if they are able to work for themselves and afford a home however we should not provide them with free housing and no tax. I have lived in the UK all my life and payed my taxes in full every year. What do I get? More council tax each month

I’m not really knowledgeable on the topic but, I don’t mind immigrants coming here but when things are just handed to them, free housing, plenty job offers, health care, when me being born here is kinda putting me at an disadvantage because I’m not poor but I don’t have great insurance, my job isn’t enough to pay for a house and the expenses that comes with it (I live with my parents) but when I was going to school the immigrant kids would come to school dressed the best in actual Gucci and other designer 💀

I'm not American but I hate this "everyone is free to enter any country" mentality. Says who? It's so entitled. Entering another country is like entering another person's house. You need permission to come in and you have to be respectful of that person's rules. You can't just enter a country ilegally and do whatever.

@@fate8007 staged my ass, look at the latest NYC mayor townhall. They are out of capacity and money to fund the migrants. One option brought up was to issue vouchers to hotels, use schools during the summer, and offered to have people who are willing to house the migrants in their homes for money. What is funny is that, all these ideas came up for migrants, but the homeless on the country's streets for years and nobody gaf! California has 2/3 of the country's homeless, but we are prioritizing migrants over the homeless mfs we have already in the country.
