My favorite is crockpot chicken and noodles. 1 lb. of chicken breasts, 1 stick of butter, 2 cans of cream of chicken. 32.oz. chicken broth. Cook all day in crockpot. Shred chicken and add package of egg noodles. Cook till noodles are done. I double this recipe and serve with rolls. It’s comfort food at its best! Especially in the winter.

Happy to have came across your channel. Your chicken casseroles looks yummy
Thank you! I'm happy you're here!
I’ll be trying each of these! When I find a new recipe, I save it, try it once, and if we like it, I hand write it into my recipe book. I wonder how these would freeze.
I'm the same way. Please try to let me know what you think of each of them. I think the rice would freeze very well and maybe the noodles if they're completely cool before freezing. Crescents freeze well also. I'm not sure about the stuffing. It would probably get mushy
@@HeartFilledHomemaking I made the chicken noodle one and used broccoli instead of peas and carrots and added a little curry powder. It was delicious and will definitely be a repeat recipe!
LOL. I was just looking for that chicken and rice recipe that looked so good!
Thank you.
I'm curious to know if you made and enjoyed the recipe?

Chicken and Stuffing look like Christmas to me. I will add veggies. Thank you
Oh yes. It's a very "comfort food" combination. Adding vegetables sounds delicious!
Canned chicken for the roll ups is a great way to use shelf stable items. You could make your own biscuit dough. Mix the cream of chicken with the canned chicken and cheese. Roll out the dough and make filled biscuits. Thank you for the inspiration.
That sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing!
I just subbed and saved everything, everything looks so delicious, thankyou so much ❤️👍

Thank you and welcome. I'm glad you're here
I'm going do that recipe.
Which recipe will you be making first? I hope you like it as much as we do.
Love this kind of video. I have a chicken Cresent roll recipe it's different than yours and it's great . Yours looks wonderful too Thank you I love getting recipes.⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️
Thank you! I hope you get to try it 😊
My favorite meal as a kid was cream of chicken over rice. For special occasions my mom added champagne to the sauce. The champagne adds a wonderful flavor. I believe she uses half a split of champagne for 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 can cream of celery or mushroom. I prefer celery since I'm not a fan of mushrooms
Thanks for sharing! I'll have to give it a try some day

OMG.... as I clicked on your video to see what recipes you had you started out with the exact same sentence that I was thinking I could not find a recipe now that I want to make one but thanks to you and you sharing your recipes BTW I'm a new sub.
Lol, I hate when that happens! I know the "Whats For Dinner" videos are really popular, but I try to stick to one recipe per video so I can refer back to them more easily.
Thank you for subbing and reaching out!
Looking over the recipe ingredients again. I think that the Chicken & Rice dish might be good with Cream of Asparagus soup instead of Cream of Mushroom (since I am allergic to mushrooms). I will probably try that someday.
That sounds good!
@heartfilledkitchen Does the rice have to be instant on this one?
Yes. Regular rice will not cook properly.
🙂🙂🙂
Hey there, I hope you are well. Fantastic recipes, going to try one tonight. Please may I ask how long and at what temperature you cooked the chicken noodle casserole at and for. Thank you 😊
Hi Claire! Thank you so much! Here's the full recipe:
CHICKEN NOODLE CASSEROLE
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 10 oz. package frozen peas and carrots (or vegs of your choice)
1 cup milk
1 10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
1 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup (any style of 2 cream soups will do)
1/2 cup mayo
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
parsley flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Boil egg noodles according to package directions. Drain
In a large bowl combine all the other remaining ingredients (reserve 1/2 C cheese and the parsley for the top)
Add cooked noodles to mixture. Stir to combine everything. Pour into prepared baking dish. Top with 1 cup Cheddar Cheese and parsley flakes.
Bake 30 minutes or until heated through. Remove from the oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
I have all the other recipes listed below the video. Just look under the title of the video, click on the word "more", (you may have to hit it twice) and the description box will open. Thanks for reaching out! I hope you enjoy the casseroles!
Accidentally opened Can of cream of chicken instead of chicken noodle soup. Was looking for some recipes to use it for .only thing I use it for really is popped seed chicken. Which I think most people just use cream of mushroom but I like to add a cream of chicken , mushroom and sometimes cream of celery to
I'm glad you found this video. I hope you'll give one of these recipes a try. If you do, let me know how it goes. Thanks!
Cut recipe in half, using 9” square ceramic pan. Did use 2 cups bone broth because I topped with garlic croutons (and cheese). Added Bavarian seasoning to yours. Topped with pepper Jack cheese 😊
That sounds amazing! 😋
Perhaps a dumb question but would not adding cheese change anything significantly? I’m not a cheese person.
Thanks in advance! Everything looks really good!
Thank you. I'm sure it would be fine.
Looking forward to trying the first two recipes. But, unfortunately, I am allergic to mushrooms so the last 2 recipes are out for me.
You can just sub the cream of mushroom soups for cream of chicken. Should be fine. I hope you like them!
Don’t like to admit but I have used box Mac and cheese!❤
Easier to make the stove top dressing ahead of time to soften up and then spread over the chicken mixture 😊
Thanks for the tip!
Can I use dressing mix instead of stove top
I'm sure you can. I use stove top for the seasoning/flavor.
can you use reg long grain white rice
I haven't tried it. You would need to adjust the cook times.
Will the cresent rolls be doughie?
The soup doesn't make it doughy, but all ovens are different so you'll have to check it. I use a toothpick and pick at it to make sure it's fully cooked.
Garlic powder? Onion powder? A tablespoon of dry sherry greatly improves the “cream of” mixture when making most chicken dishes.
Thank you for your tips. A lot of my recipes include extra seasoning but this is how we enjoy these recipes. Feel free to adjust them to your liking.
What I hate is when people don’t put the name of the recipes in the thumbnail so when we save it we could find quickly the recipe we’re looking for otherwise I don’t save them.
I agree.👍 That's why I "usually" only post one recipe at a time even though multiples seem to be the popular thing right now. It's impossible to find recipe if all it says is "What's for dinner" or "Easy Crockpot Recipes"
It seems most everything on pinterest has gone to multiples as well. 30-50 recipes in one post 😳🤯
What do you put the oven on. And how long do you let them cook. You never said in the video
I'm not sure which recipe you're referring to, but I do have all of the recipes listed in the description box and again in the comments. I hope that helps.
@@HeartFilledHomemaking I got all the recipes. Thanks for everything. Can’t wait to try them
Great! Thanks
I can't wait to fix for my son who needs hot meal
I hope he loves it!
Those crescent rolls looked great up until the soup was poured over it...they must've been so mushie/doughy no?
Oh no, surprisingly not mushy or doughy at all. They get brown and everything. Really good.
Great recipe ideas but very high in sodium
Thank you! Yes that's true
I didn’t think folks used instant rice anymore. While these sound good the amount of processed food is a no more me.
I can respect that. 😊 I hope these recipes were at least able to spark some new ideas. Possibly some of the ingredients could be exchanged for home made versions. Thanks for watching and reaching out.
Can these recipes made into freezer meals?
I haven't tried but I think they would do well. Maybe just try freezing a little of the left overs the first time before freezing a whole meal.
You forgot to say what temperature your oven was set for and how long to cook them in the first and last of the dishes!!!!!
They're both at 350°for 30 minutes. I listed all the recipes in the description box below the video. Thanks for watching.
If you have trouble getting to the description box, I also have the full recipes in the comments.
Did u know ur not supposed to lock down ur lid when cooking, its only for carrying it
Yes, thank you. I've heard that before, but I didn't see anything about it in the crockpot manual. Although it's really not necessary to lock it down, I assume since there's a vent hole in the lid to release steam and pressure, it shouldn't matter. Maybe it varies by brand?
