Whether Ritsuka was the more appropriate Master for the job or not, he was the only one *available.* Sad as it is to realize, sometimes we can mold our destiny, sometimes our destiny molds by itself. You can't control everything.
And the scary part is that those kinds of things are usually beyond anyone’s real control
@@MrDibara Actually, it was basically confirmed that Kirschtaria Wodime was pretty much 100% the better Master in every way. He was able to do the Singularities by himself when he was tested by the Alien God, and then was also able to do it six more times each with one of the other Crypters with him, testing them as well (though only he remembers all this).
So, he was able to do the Singularities seven times, and each time there was only a single casualty, Romani. No one else died during his runs, unlike ours where we lost a lot of allies in each Singularity.
There is no denying that Kirschtaria is simply better than Ritsuka, and the only reason he ended up dying was because of the allies Ritsuka gained along the way, what Ritsuka was fighting for, and because Beryl is a backstabbing cunt.
@@guikoi3101 That's true, but at the same time, Kirschtaria is one of those super-antagonists that they throw into anime sometimes, where their feats are basically impossible. If Kirschtaria was ever the protagonist, it'd never happen like that. Heck, every time Kirschtaria took one of the Crypters along, they died, so he's far from incapable of losing allies. If anything, it seems like he largely avoids fighting anyone major because he's progressing so quickly, even though there are limits on how quickly each Singularity can be located.

At least you didn’t use any horror music like the “call of the witch” or something but I think not using any music increases the fear factor a lot more because your brain focuses on that single moment without any interruption. It sends shivers down my spine.

It's too bad this was debunked when EoR began and later on expanded upon in the Lostbelt prologue. None of the Masters died since they were cryogenically frozen in the coffins by ROmani and the surviving staff by orders of Olga Marie. That said more than half of the staff members of Chaldea died in the explosion which is a much bigger number than just "47" and then half of the surviving staff died during the invasion of the Tzar's forces.
It's a nice comic that played on Part 1 knowledge but sadly got debunked in Part 1.5.

I just realized the 47 ghosts were the 47 masters who died in the beginning of the Fate/GO story
I find this to be both sad, and a bit inspiring. I can picture Ritsuka after realizing that every step of his journey, they've been there, watching him, maybe lamenting their fate, or hating him for surviving at first... But with each step forward to stopping the Incineration of Humanity, each step taken to save everyone else that he could, not letting their deaths mean nothing.... They began to support him, death isn't the end in their Universe, every time that it looked like Ritsuka might fall, or be too weakened to continue, SOMETHING kept him going. 47 pairs of hands on his back, pushing him, letting him know without ever knowing they were there he wasn't alone, that this fight wasn't his alone.

In Chaldea, we have infamous murderers, executioners, assasins, and litterally gods of the underworld. Yeah, a ghost story is really scary.

All forty seven were critically injured, and was put into cryofreeze in their coffins. The only remaining active candidate, Ritsuka Fujimaru, was able to act.

In fact by the time of "Lostbelt Prologue/December 26" forty of the Masters were confirmed to have been sent back home by Chaldea during the power transfer of Chaldea to the Magic Association. The only remaining eight Masters at that point where the seven Team A members (that could die if improperly thawed out) and Ritsuka.
