Yer in these type of conditions being so wet doesn’t do the diesels much justice they just don’t have the ability to pick wheel speed up and hold it like a petrol hence why they aren’t very common nowadays

The old reverse gear trick !! Had a mate do it in a 80 series wagon. We were all screaming but he already had it on the limiter. He sidestepped the clutch. We all ran. Caved the rear in on a large tree. Got out. Looked at the damage and declared it was time to chop the 80. I know you don't like to give away too much, but what was the rough area of those tracks? Noojee? Thanks again for the entertainment.

Thanks mate. Try and keep some variety going haha! The winches are a mix of Redwinch and gigglepin on 24v. Purpose built winches so they are fast haha

What I notice is Sherry's 60 seems to struggle a bit with getting up hills compared to the petrols. Would most winch trucks be petrol these days?
