  • Average Americans are feeling more anxious about money than ever before. After enduring one financial disruption after another, it's hard to feel positive when you don’t know what's around the corner. Experts called it "financial shock fatigue," - a phenomenon that helps to explain why so many people are worried about their financial security right now. U.S. workers have seen their purchasing power sharply decline in recent years while the cost of everything has ballooned. Many of them are barely staying afloat at the end of each month.
Unfortunately, deteriorating economic conditions will only aggravate people's problems in the months ahead. Several statistics are proof that average Americans are being pulverized by this economy, and today, we brought you the most important data you need to know about this matter. Without further ado, let's check out this list!

I recognize the hardships that come with economic struggles like unemployment, job loss, inflation, housing market instability, political uncertainties, and the global impact of conflicts and wars. Making ends meet during such times can be incredibly challenging. To navigate this difficult period, considering alternative job prospects, enhancing skills through online courses, and expanding your network can heighten the chances of securing employment. Moreover, prudent budgeting, exploring available financial aid programs, and seeking assistance from community organizations can offer some relief. How are you currently tackling these challenges? Have you implemented any specific strategies to cope?

I and 3 children moved back in with my parents for a while to get on my feet. Remarried in 2000, went through job losses after 9-11. Lost my 12 year job in 2009 due to manufacturing exiting the US. Never went back to work again. Went to college though. Graduated at 48 years old. My days have been filled with gardening, raising livestock, chickens, turkeys and lots of fruit trees. Daily i work to remove myself from the system and find other ways to be more self reliant. Its a lot of work for a 60+ year old couple. But its worth it.

@@steveroberts2533 Can use diatomaceous earth, Diatomaceous earth is made from the fossilized remains of diatoms, which are tiny organisms that lived in rivers, streams, lakes, and oceans. These diatoms are made up of silicon dioxide, a combination of silica and oxygen. Diatomaceous earth is a natural, non-toxic substance that is abrasive to an insect’s exoskeleton, causing them to dry out and die. It works by piercing the protective coverings of insects with its sharp edges, allowing it to absorb oils and fats from the insect’s cuticle, which ultimately leads to dehydration and death.
When an insect comes into contact with diatomaceous earth, it can cause the following effects:
The powder sticks to the insect’s body, allowing it to absorb moisture and oils from the insect’s cuticle.
The sharp edges of the diatomaceous earth pierce the insect’s exoskeleton, causing it to dry out and die.
The powder can also dehydrate the insect by absorbing moisture from its body, leading to a slow and painful death.
Diatomaceous earth is effective against a wide range of insects, including:
      Bed bugs
      Fleas
      Cockroaches
      Carpet beetles
      Slugs
      Beetles
      Worms
      Mites

    • @government_costumes-ui5lx
      @government_costumes-ui5lx Před 14 dny

Well the American dream basically it was concocted after WW2 there was a wee bit of what started to become a bit of an emerging middle class during the 20s but of course it was all built on a house of cars I guess you could write it off as an experiment prior to post WW1 America was actually very poor it was on the level of a third world nation as we think of it today I mean it was a very agriculturally based society industry did start to rise however you were dealing with basically forced labor practices you know the portion of the population was relatively enslaved down at the local factory or mine I mean a job was not a very pleasurable thing jobs never really are a lot pleasure but back then you had big huge strong dudes that would bust your fucking face if you didn't do whatever it is the employer wanted you to do of course the pickeringtons were basically Hired guns they were a security company they still are but they were Hired guns to basically shoot you over Union activities and no that wasn't just in the 30s that occurred even in the late 1800s most Americans were basically impoverished.
We're basically going back to that when it comes to labor I mean there does seem to be a growing push for you to make a bit of a comeback but I can say that the unions in a lot of cases aren't really interested Vera bread and butter is government jobs that's where they're hiding they don't really give a fuck to come represent the common worker anymore of course some of that is simply a lot of stigma through society and the sheer fact that a lot of people don't fully understand the purpose they won't vote for you even if they agree that we need one so that we can have better working conditions and make a better wage because of the political affiliation yeah I can say that unfortunately the unions generally subscribe to a lot of crap that I certainly would not subscribe to but the problem is is just because they subscribe to it doesn't mean that you have to go along with you can simply just use them as representation to get a better wage.
Basically I can say that the busting of the American unions it definitely coincides with pretty much the death of the American dream I mean you have a situation where the rust belt got its major start in 1968 and things went down there so a lot of the industry purely disappeared so in turn that basically broke the unit people back in the day weren't really going to put a union in the department store it is that has happened and it did happen but I'm saying that it wasn't I guess super calm here's the problem now rather than factories being the majority of jobs you have retail jobs givens that we ever since the mid late nineties switched over to a service economy basically the retailers are the new factories they've taken the place of factory jobs you could argue that for fast food as well.
This is what you're left with there's very little manufacturing that does occur happens to be largely foreign own companies and or American companies that sold out to foreign corporations America doesn't even own a portion of its own shit anymore whatever the Japanese did buy up several years back basically about three decades ago the Chinese have and whatever wasn't purchased our own companies shut it down and moved those operations overseas...
So the only thing really left to unionize would be the gas stations the fucking department stores the grocery store stuff like that that's about the only things really left and of course restaurants the Indians might be interested if you contact them I at one point back in 2020 got pissed off with home Depot and I contacted Union the teamsters and they basically said yeah they would be interested in giving it a go but there's so much stuff that I would have to do up front blah blah that they weren't going to send anybody over to help me because they have their doubts about it being Union she said that those guys are pretty tough and they've never been able to get one unionized so it's like they're only willing but that's about as far as it goes that they're only half-heartedly interested that's a major problem of course another stigma which is anti-union propaganda basically there's a portion of the population the current workers on duty today tonight tomorrow out there in the world they've been brainwashed to believe that the union does nothing but suck money out of your pocket.
I can say that I've been in a few work places that did have it yet and the company seems to have the Union on the back pocket I mean there are accusations that fly and I kind of see that that may be the case in some cases.
But I think where we are on pickups labor is simply a lot of people just purely walking away because the jobs don't really pay the bills that the cost of living keeps going ever higher and the wages aren't really keeping up and they have no intentions to make it keep up they just tell us that it would cause even more inflation then of course they do so because that means that they already have a pretext to charge you more money even if they don't really need to be charging more money they're going to charge you more money that's basically with her telling you so it's built in that you're not going to run from the inflation you know it used to be businesses factories etc in any given town at least once maybe twice a year would pass out some raises maybe they weren't big raises but it was decent for the time and I'm talking let's say the fifties through the 70s perhaps even up in the eighties and well honestly for that matter even the 90s cuz I can remember that happening the bottom line was is you would get these times where these races would come out and yet the grocery store didn't seem to raise prices all you know that this prices would hold steady they actually wanted those prices to be steady and you may not get a price hike of even 10 cents for a couple of years.
Now it's pretty much that if a factory a warehouse a doctor's office a another department store across town or something gives their people a raise even if it's a lousy 50 cent it's like all the other businesses in the area get a fucking memo about it by lunch time and then you know within a couple of weeks here comes a bunch of price you know they all want a piece of that pie.
And of course it's no longer you know 10 to 20 cents that they're raising prices fuck no they're talking about two or three dollars on top of the two or three dollars that they've already increased the price of the goods several weeks ago.
So basically they've already pretty much stated that if you do get a raise if every factory president woke up one morning and said fuck it we're just going to go ahead and pay everybody 22 bucks an hour across the board we don't really give a shit you know it'll give these guys a little more money etc etc it might improve some of the Labor relations whatever the reasoning is if every factory owner and or president did that well you know every store in the area is going to memo about that by noon and you know what the next day you could see prices so there is absolutely no way to run from it anymore.
Basically the only way people are getting away from all of this is basically willingly becoming homeless and it's not perhaps 100% willingly it's simply you know they get to notice about the rent going up two or three hundred dollars so I mean yeah why not take what money you do have by a bunch of camping gear I mean it's a very very minimum you can pick up some gig work to keep yourself cell phone going you can pick up some cake work to get some fishing supplies and other assorted gear and possibly beer don't go by firewood shit like that maybe mix up a little gas for the chainsaw I mean you know that's basically what a lot of people are doing like it or not that's literally where we are we are basically becoming a camping/nomadic society and it's because we've priced ourselves out of the conventional lifestyle that was supposed to be the American dream so it's basically the American truck but it was all manufactured I mean the powers that be basically allowed for the middle class to exist they created the environment I mean the old saying is if they can givith they can takith.
And I would say that's what's happening I mean everybody says it's being done systematically and it is but it's also being done with most of the populations approval you know if Biden goes and blows a bunch of money everybody pitches and they should but what's interesting is when Trump blew up the budget by 50% that's inflation by 50% so as long as the American people keep picking and choosing who is at fault and ignoring the obvious and they're not holding one side or one guy or this you know they're not holding these people to the equal standards of being ridiculed then it's basically the same as if the population is straight up ignoring it while at the same time giving their stamp of approval I mean you have to hold both sides both politicians to what they're doing you can't just up and say well you know when this guy did it it was for this reason it insert excuse here and then go and ridicule the other guy fuck no you have to hold both of them accountable meaning I mean yeah you're going to have to go as far back as well go as far back as you want pick a fucking year because they're all guilty.

Well there is the only thing is is just because a lot of those people are almost doesn't mean that they haven't attempt to the best s people are on drugs with mental problems and that's bullshit those statistics are false and the reason they maintain that big lie is simply to force you into doing whatever your corporate overboard but I can say that what happens when a portion of the middle class find themselves in that very situation well word has it that's happening now I can say that there is a lot of reasons why the middle class would end up there a lot of it is simply they spent themselves into an oblivion.
They bought too much house too much car they maintain a wallet full of credit cards eventually that catches up with you.
But that shit aside I mean it's time that we all basically realize that we're all headed to the street on one level or another and just because you end up homeless does not mean that you're going to find yourself back alley somewhere watching other people shoot up heroin that's the image that the government wants to slap on homes and they do it to scare the shit out of you so that if you end up in a bad pickle you will panic freak out and then you'll become more willing to double down and do even more of the work inflation comes in numerous forms and a lot of that also happens to be pulling double duty if not quadruple duty at any given job jobs are taking full advantage of this shit simply because they know that it's bad and they also know that there's plenty of stooges that know that it's bad and they can keep them in feet that these people have their own fears about what's going on so the employer says oh hey why don't you do this job as well as that job hey you could do this other job too and that person will probably be pretty willing to bow down and do it simply because when they look out the window and whatever it is they see they don't like employers take full advantage of this.
The problem is that with each passing day their power to keep people in fear is running out it is less than it was yesterday and the reason being is because that only works so long and then it becomes inevitable that even the employee that is willing to bow down and do whatever realizes that they're not able to pay their bills so outside of the job there becomes problems financially and all of a sudden they don't really give a fuck anymore.
Honestly you have a lot of people did have walked off the job I anticipate more will do the same and a lot of people are willing to be coming home they're willingly walking away it's not that they just said around the night before and thought it all up a lot of what happens is you know they come home to a notice table and they're already having trouble paying the bills so any thoughts that they had to run away well guess what this clench is it all the sudden whatever the boss was on about whatever they were fearing that they had to be done by Monday or some crap goes right out the window they no longer give a fuck rightfully suck I mean if you can't live a conventional life then what's the point of maintaining a conventional job this is shock to the system.
And I will say that the older bosses they practically shit themselves because they're so used to everyone bowing down but they failed to realize the only real reasons that anybody ever did was because there was a level of affordability to be had and that's what people are chasing but now they're trying to date people into social brownie points that don't mean anything this is why you have all these people out there patting each other on the back for having a job and pulling stupid amounts of overtime this is why so many jackasses think that it's a flex to work stupid amounts of hours this is what they're running off and that only works until they can't pay the bills on that anymore.
So basically what happens is you find yourself homeless and you have this full-time job and you're making all this stupid money but then one day you have a eureka moment to where you realize you don't really need a full-time job anymore because you no longer have the overhead of the apartment it most you're trying to keep a car on the road if you have a car payment you're basically screwed but if you own the car out right and it's in pretty good mechanical condition you only need enough of a job to basically maintain the basics of being homeless and that's it you don't really need to commit to full-time employment that shocks the system because that means the fear is gone that means that people are able to make the best of the bad situation you know they could go hiking all day they can go fishing all day and all night they can camp out they don't really need to answer to whatever some stupid boss tells them to do that they don't have scheduled conflicts anymore and as far as grabbing up a job with 16 to 20 hours a week to do whatever it is you need to do well that's not hard to do fuck there's gig work apps.
I mean when I was between jobs last year I took on a gig work app and basically I would get paid $57 to go clean a store for 4 hours and I could basically do the whole store taking things off yourself putting the back running and facing I could do the entire convenience store in under 3 hours I was free to go after 2 hours worth of work and I still made I even took the trash out before I left.
So I mean shit you could easily pick up a couple of those gigs in one day's time and make well over a hundred bucks which is right on par with what you would make anywhere else on a stated schedule.
So yeah you can basically just plot that you're going to go to this job or that job you know a couple days out from say today meanwhile you live it up a little bit then you show up to the job you make your money you go you go do what you need to do they pay you usually by the next day and or the next day then you go do whatever shopping you have to do and then you take it easy for a while and you know what you can pick up another one if you want it I mean a lot of people are doing that and they're making the best of a bad situation I mean I don't even know anymore if we should bother calling it homeless because in a lot of cases for a lot of people it's basically a camping trip or a vacation they never come back from it's great frankly.
Oh yeah there's some comforts that you don't really get on the road that you would get via home but you really shouldn't be downtrend about that simply because that's already gone I mean if you're homeless you're homeless because you was priced out to begin with meaning you're never coming back so you might as well you know travel around use the money the way you want have some fun grab a fishing pole go fishing the hell with the government screw whatever the employers are on about just show up enough to do meager amounts of work collect some money and be on your Merry way.
I will say it's catching on to the point where we are becoming a more pneumatic people it's not exactly by choice but hey everybody was forced into it so everybody's going to attempt to make the best of bad situation but the government they want you to believe that people living in their cars are the scourge of the Earth.
The reason that they have that propaganda is because they're trying to keep the rest of you going to work on a steady schedule and doing exactly what your corporate overlords want you to do a genie got let out of the bottle back in 2020 and you cannot put that genie back.

Hey where are you at in Ohio? I'm in Newark.
I can definitely say here in Licking county is pretty bad.
I would say my area in the past 5 years the homeless population has increased by 200%. Oh that sounds like a number that you would think that there would be homeless people on every corner and that you would see the every single minute of the day but that's not really the case I'm saying that we went basically from hardly any last decade like it was noticeable in 2017 yes it was known to be a thing in 2016 yes but it was still somewhat a rarity to actually see a homeless person particularly in the daytime we went from basically almost no sightings to they really are everywhere all the time now there again that doesn't mean that it's every single minute but it has been a very sharp increase and it seems like that's getting worse except I've also noticed here in the past 6 months though you'll see a lot of these people all hours the day and night, and if you happen to work late night retail you'll definitely see of course anymore that late night retail is going to be limited to a few gas stations everything else did away with 24 hours during the 2020 bullshit.
But yeah it is becoming worse it's just I have noticed in the past 3 to 6 months though you'll see them there is kind of some holes in some of the frequency of it basically the police last year via August September area had went around and cracked down like down at the salvation army that camp was gone it went from having a lot of homeless people to fucking basically know what I believe the cops went in there and pretty much told the salvation army you got to get rid of this.
Some of these people yeah I've seen a few tweakers the tweakers do exist but I can say that is not the vast majority of most of these people honestly did come walking up my street all hours the day and night they actually look like they're in pretty good shape now they look like they've gotten a meals they don't look like they're strung out on drugs a lot of them literally look pretty intelligent they're cleaned up they're shaving their maintained they have some decent clothing I mean they really look like maybe they really are looking for a job or something and most of them are actually pretty nice if you see them in the stores they are generally courteous they're not really bad.
Of course you know I myself don't treat any different than I would anyone else a couple of times late night I have during a couple drinking adventures wandered over to the nearest gas station to get more beer and I've managed to buy a couple of them a sandwich or two just for the hell of it I mean most of them are okay a lot of them if you go over to the gas station late at night a lot of the times they'll be standing out there talking amongst each other they're not causing disturbance they're just basically hanging out kind of like people used to it's kind of fucked up because they're like the only people that do that I've noticed that I don't know if you have but I have I've noticed that you know it used to be back in the day on a late night of a Saturday or Friday night or something United stop in the gas station late at night and there could be a few people there just blabbing amongst themselves well it seems like anymore the homeless people are the only ones that really do that and if you overhear any of the conversation it's actually very intelligible so it's not like you know a lot of these people are strung out and do for your shit I've met some that are so I'm not going to say they don't exist but I can say they're not the majority.

Hey those are the people that I do not like it's not that they have money it's merely that they think that they're above everyone else and of course they want to assert some sort of authority and they don't actually really have any authority the bad part is there's government that will go along with their shit thus furthering their mania and making them believe that they are something special when in reality they're just a dick head with a few more dollars.

I still go outside remember that? and toss the football around and chase it. Unfortunately, most guys my age are either too fat, dead, or sick. I have a pair of pants I got in 1980 that I found recently and guess what? they still fit. I've kept my waist size the same my entire adult life 31". Definitely saves moola on buying clothes. And when old styles come back in, I still have the clothes to wear. There are countless benefits from living a healthy life and maintaining your weight. I exercise daily and am in shape. Also have been smoking weed for pert near fifty years. Speaking of which....
