Okay she is exaggerating I am an expat from the USA 🇺🇸 paper towels are abundant in South Africa! Where is she? Ubers are really inexpensive here. It’s true it’s less expensive to order your groceries instead of going to the store. It’s way more convenient to me to get my groceries delivered! Soweto is where apartheid took place. I have no children so I’m not on that but I advise you to look into that further. Relocation with Kaia can really help you with children. Yes you can drive to Cape Town and Durban as well. The USD is king here and everything is going to be low to Americans . That is a plus as far as how Americans can live here. Not all South African people are critical of their country they are very proud people! Not all South Africans are interested in American 🇺🇸! I work with The Real South Africa travel and tourism company so I deal with a lot of South African people. She is right about an abundance of things to do here! I say come and see for yourself don’t let anyone tell you what you will experience! Come properly with the Real South Africa for your own experience is my suggestion!!!1🇿🇦🇺🇸 no

As a Capetonian, born, bred and never fled lol We do have paper towels we just not big on it so huge rolls of paper towels will have to be sourced, we don't use it to clean up spills...that's what a mop and bucket is for!lol I love Ashley's content, she is not one to suck things from her bum. With all the AA expats in Cape Town, our supermarkets are starting to stock american products. Ashley is currently in Tanzania...you should check that one out.

I understand her and where her mindset is at. She NEVER said anything bad or negative. She has only displayed enthusiasm and on the odd occasion, a touch of vulnerability and a bit sadness...makes her human.💚

In some of her videos, she explores different areas of Johannesburg. She even makes videos about her apartment hunting, giving you an idea of the cost of apartments.
When coming to the weather, there are parts of the country that get snow every South African winter, they even have snow resorts. Buts it's only 3 months of the year that is the coldest and the rest is warmer.
