    This is super. I plan on using this design to rescue stray and lost dogs. Thank you so much.

    Owen Anderson here. I'm going to buy a few regular dog crates and make this transformation! Thanks for the info!

    This helped so much! There’s a fisher cat going after my dogs and the husband wanted to take care of it, but I didn’t want to kill it, so this was a perfect alternative! Thank you:)

    hey Marsh Rat..that is the most use I seen from a dog kennel. it wasn't 60 seconds after seeing your video I went out and built me one. especially after losing 4 chickens in two days. its built and set up. i'll post trail camera video when I catch the bobcat or coyote. Thanks again. I used electric fence wire instead. Lighter, and I have a ton of it.

    Great design! Simple but effective, as all good designs should be. This might be the perfect solution for all the wild dogs around our place. Thanks.

    I love how well thought out all this is. I'm not totally clear as to how you are adjusting sensitivity. Is the treadle simply held up by the friction of the washer on the trip wire and the sensitivity adjusted by the position of attachment on the door?

    This is a great idea! I have several coons coming up every night. They're so big they can't fit in a regular live trap! Can you show how you made the spring part? I'm sort of bumfuzzled on that. This gives me use of a dog cage I just had laying around! Thanks!

    • @MarshRat
      @MarshRat  Před rokem

      the only spring is the latch mechanism, is this the spring you're referring to? Can you give the approximate time in the vid? thanks

    • @brianreid3267
      @brianreid3267 Před rokem

      @@MarshRat It's the latch at 1:50. How do you get the spring on without cutting the latch of then tack welding it back on?

    Great video but would just like to know how did you get the latch apart in order to fit the spring?

      Had to fiddle with it but figured it out after a couple of cold ones. If you are still having a problem then just let me know and I will create a short vid just for you. Best regards
