How can a lost soul get saved? Here’s how!
Christ died for our sins! Are you saved in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Your good works doesn't pay for your bad works, you need a 'payment' for your sins and that is Jesus Christ. You cannot do it alone, Jesus Christ paid it all for you, the only thing you have to do is 'believe' in what He did for you on the cross at Calvary. Jesus Christ is the only cure for sin, so please believe in what He did, His death, burial and resurrection - found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, it saves lost souls when you truly believe from your heart.
Ephesians 1:13, saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, there is no other way. Please get saved now, time is running out!
      Eph. 2:8-9 and Titus 3:5
Heaven and Hell are real, literal places. There's ONLY 1 Eternity to choose from, Heaven or Hell, choose wisely for your soul!!

The pure Word is Jesus Christ and His word is eternal in Heaven.
The kj bible is changing. For those who have eyes to see, will see these wicked changes and not make it their idol and their god and follow and worship a book.
Worship God Almighty for His Word is Eternal in Heaven. I pray that you understood this message.
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Who is the Word? Jesus Christ!. Who was the Word from the very beginning? Jesus Christ! Does it say the kj bible? No, it does not!! So why are you worshiping the kj b and not Jesus Christ, who is God?
Many are losing rewards for this sadly. I keep on warning but no one is listening.

After decades of study I can say God makes sense and his plan makes sense. God gave certain men th e gift of pastor-teacher. RB certainly has that gift.

The Everlasting Gospel to Preach unto them that dwell on the Earth :
Three Angels Message of Revelation 14:6-12
"The Hour of His Judgement is come."
"Come out of her my people. "
      "Keep His commandments"
“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt WORSHIP the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Matthew 4:10
..WORSHIP him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Revelation 14:7
..For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:11
      From the very beginning of the great controversy in heaven it has been Satan's purpose to overthrow the law of God. It was to accomplish this that he entered upon his rebellion against the Creator, and though he was cast out of heaven he has continued the same warfare upon the earth. To deceive men, and thus lead them to transgress God's law, is the object which he has steadfastly pursued. Whether this be accomplished by casting aside the law altogether, or by rejecting one of its precepts, the result will be ultimately the same. He that offends “in one point,” manifests contempt for the whole law; his influence and example are on the side of transgression; he becomes “guilty of all.” James 2:10 {The Great Controversy}
"Wherefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath." These words are full of instruction and comfort. Because the Sabbath was made for man, it is the Lord's day. It belongs to Christ. For "all things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made." John 1:3. Since He made all things, He made the Sabbath. By Him it was set apart as a memorial of the work of creation. It points to Him as both the Creator and the Sanctifier. It declares that He who created all things in heaven and in earth, and by whom all things hold together, is the head of the church, and that by His power we are reconciled to God. For, speaking of Israel, He said, "I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them,"--make them holy. Ezek. 20:12. Then the Sabbath is a sign of Christ's power to make us holy. And it is given to all whom Christ makes holy. As a sign of His sanctifying power, the Sabbath is given to all who through Christ become a part of the Israel of God.
      And the Lord says, "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; . . . then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord." Isa. 58:13, 14. To all who receive the Sabbath as a sign of Christ's creative and redeeming power, it will be a delight. Seeing Christ in it, they delight themselves in Him. The Sabbath points them to the works of creation as an evidence of His mighty power in redemption. While it calls to mind the lost peace of Eden, it tells of peace restored through the Saviour. And every object in nature repeats His invitation, "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Matt 11:28.{The Desire of Ages}
"If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
      God Bless~

Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Rom 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Brother, the apostle Paul is not talking about Gods law(10 commandments), but the ceremonial law. Gods law is life and it stands fast forever.. “Concerning thy testimonies,” says the psalmist, “I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever” (Psalm 119:152).
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Romans 3:31
The ceremonial law did ordain at least four annual Sabbaths; viz. the 1st, 10th, 16th, and 23rd days of the seventh month. These were besides the Sabbath of the Lord, and were associated with the new moons and feast days. Leviticus 23:23-39. These exactly assure Paul’s language. Hence it is not necessary to make Paul contradict James. TWL 8.1
      2. But the Sabbath of the Lord was “set apart to a holy use” (this being the literal meaning of sanctify) in Eden. It was “made for man” before he had fallen. Hence it is not one of the things against him and contrary to him, taken out of the way at Christ’s death. TWL 8.2
      3. It was not a shadow pointing forward to the death of Christ; for it was ordained before the fall. On the contrary, it stands as a memorial pointing backward to creation, and not as a shadow pointing forward to redemption. TWL 8.3
It is plain, therefore, that the abrogation of the hand-writing of ordinances leaves in full force every precept of the royal law, and also that the law of shadows pointing forward to the death of Christ, must expire when that event should occur. But the moral law was that which caused the Saviour to lay down his life for us. And its sacredness may be judged of by the fact that God gave his only Son to take its curse upon himself, and to die for our transgressions.
Christ came not to destroy the law or the prophets, but to fulfill them to the very letter. The atonement of Calvary vindicated the law of God as holy, just, and true, not only before the fallen world, but before heaven and before worlds unfallen.-The Signs of the Times, June 20, 1895.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10

**Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Paul is talking about the OT law here it's pretty obvious.**
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Romans 3:31
The law of faith isn't the same thing as the OT law. You didn't read the previous verses
Rom 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

**The Sabbath was a ceremonial commandment given to the Jews. It was not a moral commandment.
Exodus 34:18 "The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt. 21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest. 22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end."
It was also a sign to the children of Israel. The definition of the Sabbath is defined in Exodus 31:12-18.
Exodus 31:17 "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."
Ezekiel 20:20 "And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God."
Since signs are for the Jews and not Christians, Christian are not commanded to keep the Jewish Sabbath. The Jews require a sign because their nation began with signs (Exodus 4).
1 Corinthians 1:22 "For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:"**
He fulfilled the requirements of the OT law when he said in John "It is finished"
      Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
      Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Yeah he fulfilled it on the cross therefore there's a new covenant the Old is passed away.
Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10
Not saved or kept saved by keeping or obeying commandments
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Rom 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

The original languages do not add a single good thing to the King James Bible. By the way, the original languages of the New Testament were not all Koine Greek. The King James translators, all 54 of them, were language experts who gave us a 100% perfect English Bible. All preachers who quote Greek or Hebrew do so in order to attack the Scriptures, and, like a Roman Catholic minister, give the idea that you have to go to them in order to uderstand what God is "trying" to say. To most people on earth, Hebrew and Greek are incomprehensible gobbledegook. Hebrew had died out, and was artificially reintroduced in the 1800s by the satanic Zionists for use in the abominable country now called "Israel".

behold, understanding God's Word need a lot more than just of "versions".But observing repeated patterns, God's Word, and God's Act, only then you get the Core Truth.
For example, if Adam and Eve were the only human created, then who shall be the spouses for their children? Was Adam's children practised incest?Ask your preacher/priest, and see what their respond will. Their responses for thousand years is "It is understable by God, cause it's the only way to multiply and fulfilled the earth".
Well friend, God didn't command nor allowed such thing.OBSERVE, didn't God created Eve for Adam?THUS Adam could have asked God to create their children spouses,to prevent incest.THE FACT, Adam ate the fruit, and got kicked out.
NOW, you really understand the core Truth when God warn Adam, that the day he ate the fruit, adam surely died along with its lineage. To stayed alive holding the lineage, Adam rebelled against God once again. Now, where is God compassion towards it?For His love to Adam, and Noah, God made the law prohibit incest, only after Israel out of Egypt. Thus there is no condition forced us to make sin.The very first "symbol prophecy" that Jesus will come to broke that "inherited" sin, thus we can be "freed".Now, do we need KJV to understand this?no we don't.but feel free to whatever versions you get used to,as long as your can improve your understanding, but not to judge other versions, as to might "halt" the progress of ur brethren.Cos, the most powerful version then KJV and all versions, is the Bible "Holy Spirit" version.amen.

They have to keep the money flow coming by preaching comforting words to those who pay the bills. I am a member of such. If a preacher does not have true freedom to preach what God puts on their heart to preach, there is a problem.

It's the same with xmas.🙈🙈 I gently say that Jesus Christ was born in September so xmas time means nothing to me, it's deception by the catholic church. It makes people so uncomfortable. We're in a world where the truth is despised. Even kids lie so easily now. The only reason i get out of bed is to serve the Lord. All i think about is Jesus and Heaven. I'm blessed with the gift of discernment through the Holy Spirit. It's a heavy burden in this fallen wicked world. There's a heavy demonic presence in this town. The attacks can be overwhelming at times and then comes comfort from the Holy Spirit. I am completely fearless and ready to go home when the Lord calls me. Your teaching is such a gift, brother Breaker. I thank you with all my heart and soul. Amen.

“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change [Saturday Sabbath to Sunday] was her act... And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things” (H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons).
      ~
The mark of the beast involves the substitution of a human commandment for God’s commandment. The greatest evidence of this fact is the humanly established institution of Sunday (Dan. 7:25) as the day of worship instead of the seventh-day Sabbath, the day mandated in Scripture by our Creator. The attempt to change the sign of God’s authority to another day is an attempt to usurp the role and power of God Himself. “The mark of the beast is the papal sabbath. … When the decree shall go forth enforcing the counterfeit sabbath, and the loud cry of the third angel shall warn men against the worship of the beast and his image, … then those who still continue in transgression will receive the mark of the beast”. - Ellen G. Robert, you sound so much better. Excellent video. Thank you.
Right now, I am finishing Acts, and I really don't think I have ever read this book all the way through for some reason. Anyway, I finished Acts 22 today and I had no idea the word, Christian, was in the bible. I mean, I am embarrassed, but being a Christian for over 40 years, you'd think I would have known this, but no... I really love this book too. These Jews and Romans, they were a very smart, wise, people..
28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”
29 And Paul said, “I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

      From the very beginning of the great controversy in heaven it has been Satan's purpose to overthrow the law of God. It was to accomplish this that he entered upon his rebellion against the Creator, and though he was cast out of heaven he has continued the same warfare upon the earth. To deceive men, and thus lead them to transgress God's law, is the object which he has steadfastly pursued. Whether this be accomplished by casting aside the law altogether, or by rejecting one of its precepts, the result will be ultimately the same. He that offends “in one point,” manifests contempt for the whole law; his influence and example are on the side of transgression; he becomes “guilty of all.” James 2:10 {The Great Controversy}
And the Lord says, "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; . . . then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord." I agree, “If the Baptist says one thing and the Bible says another, follow the Bible.” Absolutely! I follow the Bible. I was born and raised Catholic and went to Catholic schools. As a child (about 8 yrs old) I read a children’s Bible my mother had bought that it came in 10 volumes with pictures. I loved it and learned a lot of things that were not taught in my school. As an adult, I read the Bible by myself several times and with the direction of the Holy Spirit, the truth set me free. I assisted to a nondenominational church with great biblical teachings and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. I moved to another state and it was hard to find a nondenominational church close to me. There, I found a Baptist church with teachings between nondenominational (more Bible based) and Catholic (more man based). The people are nice and I like making new friends. God has come through for me regardless of the denomination name as long as I look for the truth in Him. I read, listen to Christian teachings, such as this video, filter everything through the Bible and also continue reading and studying the Bible by myself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit because salvation and an intimate relationship with God is personal and individual.

Belivers were first called christians in Antioch and they followed Paul. The devil has been corrupting the church from the beginning trying to move it away from Pauls message. The true believers would have to call themselves something to set them apart from other so called christians. Today is no different, the devil is still hard at work. Imagine all church buildings having a sign that say Christian Church and all of them teaching different doctrine..... Do you see what a mess that would be? Denominations are straight out of hell if you ask me, but praise God we have a Kings James Bible to clear up DEMONinations.

Yes, I am a Baptist Brother Breaker. That which you are teaching I "know and believe" as well as teach. And although I did become the prodigal son for many, many years of my Christian life, and my life became a shipwreck because of my sins. I still believe in that which you are sharing today. Now it's true, because of decisions I made I cannot be a Pastor, or a Deacon of an assembly as you yourself are due to the sinful choices I myself made in my life. But I can pray for you and your ministry and I do Brother Breaker. But, I am still a member of the Body of Christ. I do have the Holy Spirit indwelling me. And I am sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption which occurred in my youth, but was not fully understood, I.E. O.S.A.S, or even realized it until I came to my senses 17 years ago. I do believe in the Blessed Hope, Eternal Security of the Believer, I am aware of doctrine throughout the Scriptures. And I am an heir and son of God, and I am also the spiritual leader for those in my own home. And I often have Bible studies with people who are, and are not members of my immediate household. In my home, or even in public settings. I have been trained to witness the Gospel, and share the Gospel with others. In other words to be effective in ministry. Which as you would know is the purpose of a local body of believers is bringing lost people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, then training them in the Scriptures as disciples also. So they might have an effective ministry, or serve as an effective witnesses toward others so that the Body of Christ might increase, and God Himself be Glorified. Peace and prayers to you pastor Breaker. Thank you for what you do. It's greatly appreciated. In Jesus name I pray. May the Lord keep you, and all of God's family until His glorious return. Which I believe is soon and very soon. Amen, and Maranatha!

This message is an excellent summary of the truth about Biblical Churches. Well done!
Sadly, there are very few independent Baptist pastors who are good. Most of them have a low I.Q. and are slaves to their preferred group (e.g. Baptist Bible Fellowship). Many are Baptist Briders and get mad with you if you disagree with that rubbish. My first pastor, whom I still love, was a Brider and says that Peter Ruckman (whom I got to know) was "a nutcase". Peter was a real character, and I thought he was terrific. He had a sense of humor, which few Baptist pastors have. However, most Baptist pastors are good men who do a lot of good.
Most Baptist pastors are slaves to the Zionists and blindly support "Israel" and the American Republican party, which they regard as God's party. God says we are to be separate. These pastors' low I.Q. is showing, sadly.

I love listening to you & your teaching! Our churches (Christian Church - non denomination) are almost exactly the same teachings (which tells me we BOTH follow GOD’s word/teachings), with 1 exception. Acts 2:42. WE gather around the Lord’s table to “Break Bread” along with the other 3 (as it says), on the Lord’s Day. Baptists around here only take it once a month & DO NOT invite other Christians to join them (on Sunday). That strikes me as a “private club” aspect. Can you explain that biblically to me/us? After listening to the end, I agree on “supper” & as often as you come together too. That’s scriptural!

I'm trying to find a good church after I had an great experience with the Lord on November 6th last year. I backsled for many years from a non denominational church. That day I asked Jesus to forgive me for loosing my faith in him to the point of becoming an atheist, I believed the Holy Spirit surrounded me, I had my eyes closed and all of a sudden I feel Jesus hugging me, there was a bright light that entered the room, then I was in tears on the floor thanking Jesus for forgiving me, it's hard to describe what I felt, it felt like it lasted longer than what I'm saying, but my burden was taken away, I felt light weight like a feather, I felt so much happiness. I've been just praying and reading the Bible but so far I haven't found a good church. I was thinking about Baptist but I'm not sure. They still keep pagan traditions. Like St Valentine, easter, Christmas, hollowing, to name a few. Any advice?

Though I attend a nondenominational community church, (because the Lord lead me there) I still believe that Baptist is still doctrinally sound. However, I disagree with the bylaws within most Baptist churches with membership. If someone gets saved and wants to be baptized becasue that’s what the scriptures say, then that is Biblical. Don’t turn them down for not becoming a member. In my opinion, that seems more like legalism and man’s law to me.

I enjoyed this teaching, also seen the youtube on Rev. Billy Graham who was Southern Baptist. I was raised up as a Missionary Baptist in Arkansas where the BMA is strong and have Central Baptist College in Conway, Ar. But as i have gotten older and have been studying from my KJV bible i seem to now be following more the Independent Fundamentalist? way and not a Large Organization, but i do support strongly the Missions field. I support your teachings and also enjoy the teachings of Michael Pearl with NGJ ministries in TN. Was wondering about your thoughts on Liberty University and Pastor Jerry Falwell Sr. and that movement in the 60's and 70's and on. Maybe a sermon in there somewhere? I remember him on TV as a child with the Old Time Gospel Hour. And i have several of those Giant Print KJV Bibles from the 70's which to me are still great bibles. Thanks for any comment or teachings.

It was apostasy that led the early church to seek the aid of the civil government, and this prepared the way for the development of the papacy-the beast. Said Paul: “There” shall “come a falling away ..., and that man of sin be revealed.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3. So apostasy in the church will prepare the way for the image to the beast.15The Great Controversy, 443, 444.
The Man of Sin and the Rival Sabbath-The man of sin has exalted himself against God, sitting in the temple of God, and showing himself to be God. He has trampled underfoot God's great memorial of creation, established to commemorate His work; and in its stead he has presented to the world a common working day. This day he has set up as a rival Sabbath, to be observed and honored. Thus the world has been turned against God; for the Lord declares that He has sanctified the day of His rest. 7BC 910.6
But though every member of the human family should accept this child of the Papacy, in no case would this invalidate the holy Sabbath of Jehovah. Those who accept the false sabbath exalt the man of sin, and assail the government of God. But the man of sin cannot annul what God has declared shall stand fast forever. The work now to be done in our world is to exalt the law of the Lord, and call the attention of the people to it. The time has come when the truth is to be proclaimed against falsehood and error (The Review and Herald, July 26, 1898).

Does it change the way you view the show now or not? Makes me oughly suspicious how him and the producer were "chummin it up" at the Vatican, talking about unity and brotherhood. I wonder how many thousands of people will watch that show and still die and go to hell because they trusted in their own "good deeds" and the fact that they say they "love Jesus"...and He will look at them and say, "Depart from me, I never knew you". It breaks my heart

@@kayfunden5545 that's what I think anyway. Wouldn't it be just like Satan to tell people to not only watch the show, but to model your life around it. He creeps in when u least expect it. He'll tell people, "All u need to be is loving and respectful to your fellow man, and Jesus will welcome you into paradise with open arms!".....and he sits back and laughs, and says, "I got em!" Because that's what he wants. He doesn't want people focused on the blood, or on putting 100% of your trust & faith into JESUS to get you to Heaven! He wants people to think that they can make it there by there own good works. He wants people to watch this show, and cry and open their hearts to the WHOLE WORLD! As long as you don't get saved. It's a beautiful show and i understand why it's spreading across the world, I really do. And if they have an episode where they come right out and tell people that Salvation is by Grace through Faith in the precious blood that Jesus shed on the cross, and that it's not about your works or your good deeds, it's strictly about Jesus Christ...then yeah, ill eat these words. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 27:21,23
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 15:10
"I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him." John 10:30-31
The Jews boasted of God, of Abraham, and of the law, but despised and rejected Jesus. The great facts connected with his resurrection were soon to be so convincing that many would believe. And as the Jews were to reject and crucify the Son, while boasting in the law, Christians would run to the opposite and equally fatal heresy of trampling upon the authority of the Father, and despising his law, while receiving Christ and glorying in the gospel. It has ever been Satan’s object to separate in the faith of the church the Father and the Son. With the Jews was the cry, The Father, Abraham, the law; but away with Jesus and his gospel. With Christians the cry was to arise, Christ, the cross, the gospel; but away with the law of the Father. To meet this heresy, erelong to arise in the Christian church, the Master, in his first recorded sermon, spoke pointedly. Listen to his appeal to his disciples in the presence of the assembled multitudes:- LAGO 7.2
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled.
Satan is the father of lies. Our only safeguard is in the scriptures, the Word of God.
      ~
“The Lord commands by the same prophet, ‘Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.’ The seal of God’s law is found in the fourth commandment. This only, of all the ten, brings to view both the name and the title of the Lawgiver. It declares him to be the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and thus shows his claim to reverence and worship above all others. Aside from this precept, there is nothing in the Ten Commandments to show by whose authority the law is given. When the Sabbath was changed by the papal power, the seal was taken from the law. The disciples of Jesus are called upon to restore it by exalting the Sabbath of the fourth commandment to its rightful position as the Creator’s memorial and the sign of his authority. TDOC 215.2

We mostly use the NIV but it's my understanding is it's easier for people to understand. Though if a verse isn't close enough to what the Pastor believes it's trying to convey, too watered down, he will use a different translation.
