Whats classic about that was that Glenn Danzig tried to start a fight with Vivian Campbell and when Vivian stood up to him, Glenn ran like a lil bitch and hid from him. There is an interview on youtube where Joe talks about it

I don’t think I would like to get on the wrong side of Joe. He comes off as a man who is not to be trifled with. He’s a Yorkshire Man as well, they are the friendliest bunch you’ll ever meet but they take no bullshit.

Joe has always been really protective of their audience. I remember way back there was a security guard harassing a member of the audience and Joe thumped him in the back with his mic stand to warn him off.

@@TonyM132 I think it’s really cool when big stars are looking out for their audience. Joe Elliot and Selena are my favorite singers. Two completely different genres of music though. At a Selena concert people were rushing the stage so they had to stop and then she had to talk to them for a while to make sure they were staying safe while people were being moved back. Unfortunately, she was murdered in 1995. She would’ve been huge had she lived. I just love the way Joe was standing still while singing looking down angry at the needle dicks.
He didn't break it up. I think he drew securities attention. As I live performer. I've had to call out a couple fights but you wanna be careful to not get the entire audience involved. He handled this incredibly professionally.

I've seen Def leppard 14 times and I've seen some pretty wild shit. crowd searfing, going over the barrier, the security taking the people out. everybody just kept playing and singing. Joe said: 'he's a little insane, but he's ok. ' lol. That was when he was in Portland, Oregon playing at the baseball stadium and Bryan Adams opened up for them. anyways, I've NEVER seen Joe stand still. ONLY time I've seen him PISSED OFF was in Salem, Oregon at the state fair in 2000 and there was a sound ordinance. they were unaware and had police waiting back stage to arrest them if they played loud. my heart sank! that was my first Def leppard concert. Joe was telling us about it. saying they couldn't get as loud as they wanted but we they crowd could get as f-ing loud as we wanted. I thought they were going you cancel show. they didn't and came out for oncore 3 times. plus he told everybody to go get a refund! He said they'd NEVER walked out on a show. vowed they'd NEVER play there again and they haven't! love you, Joe!

I was at that Portland show with them and Bryan Adams too! I don’t remember any incident. What was it that happened exactly? We were probably center stage, about 10 rows back.

Ok.. Sooo... I'm still laughing! I have been told by many people that Joe's glare here is as bad as mine (I have it down to a science)! There's only two things that make me glare like that... when I'm pissed and/or in the haunted house I volunteer at... If that's how I look then I'd like to want to apologize but I just don't want to... Either it was deserved, see video for example LOL, or it was too much fun (haunted house)! Whomever it was should consider themselves lucky they didn't burst into flames under that stare! LOL! Deserves it for putting fans in danger... The Danzig comment was priceless! The rumor here was the Danzig picked the fight with Joe, got hid hind parts beat, then tried to get a restraining order! That one still cracks me up to this day... The common element to that story is it was over Danzig's soup... What a baby... I still have to play Mother but it's definitely under protest!

Middletown New York, 93, i was there, my first Leppard show! I remember this, wasn't long after Danzig started some shit with the Leps at some venue,and supposedly got knocked on his ass for it by Vivian if i'm not mistaken! Good times!
