I’ve lost every human friend over the last 2 years. Luckily the only friend I need is Jesus and I talk with him daily.
I lost all of my friends as well. The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me recently telling me to get plugged back into a small group at church and it's been amazing. It was just Jesus and I for the last 2 years but I realized that in order to fulfill the great commission, we actually have to go out and connect with people so that they can be saved.

Get a dog.
I can't explain why exactly, but if you are lonely (-hey, even if you *do* want to be alone for some reason! -), people just come up to you and start talking about the dog!
And, if you meet them often enough, you can talk about other stuff.
But you don't like dogs..?
Me too, but one day I began walking my elderly neighbour's dog (-well, he walked and kind of dragged me along for the exercise. That's a story for another day..) and I noticed that people who were otherwise busy, or just exercising themselves, stopped to talk about the dog.
True story: I was walking the dog in a local park, when all of a sudden a teenager nearby was stopped by the Police (-pulled up, got out of the car and grabbed him -)
I was trying to walk around them, but Benji the Terrier wanted to say hello!
First, the teenager gave the dog a scratch under the chin and a bit of a cuddle, and then the Police came over for a play!
I thought,
"Hang on a minute, aren't you supposed to be..
And, you.."
See, if you can't strike up a friendship with a dog taking you for a walk every afternoon, you've got the wrong dog!
