Going to Bahamas you fly a yellow customs flag and when you arrive you check in. No one approaches you either way, coming back to US you can use a Customs app on your phone to check in. They wouldn't know unless a random check on the water.
I never use one for several reasons, 1) It always gets tangled up when you reach for stuff when riding and often gets pulled out and shuts motor off. 2) If you fall off in any even light current and motor shuts off the ski can drift away from you and you may not be able to swim after it. If you fall off with motor running it goes to idle (steering always goes hard left or right never straight ahead.) and goes in slow circles where you fell off and will not drift. I live near Colorado River have tested it many times in strong currents. ALWAYS use what's best for you, I don't recommend anything unsafe do what is recommended. I would recommend a novice rider using a lanyard.
Hey, yes I had 18gal tank used 11 g each way. I had read sometimes they runout due to busy times fuel barge comes every 3,4 days but there was plenty of supply when I was there.
@@kiwirangerchannel From what I can see in the video it looks like the kill cord is not attached to you. It's a safety issue - if you fell overboard...
it looks awesome bud, when are you doing it again, maybe I would join for the experience.
It’s a little risky crossing over by yourself

How much did they charge for gas in the Bahamas? I imagine they gouge but who knows. Also can you use a credit card or must you pay in Bahamian money?
Hi, Not sure but it was not that bad, you can use a credit card everywhere.
How much fuel did you use? Did the waves stress you out on the way back?
@@8mywal8 Hi I used 10.5 gallons there about the same back. Yes it was a rough ride back, you have to really concentrate ...😬
25:15 - Dude, you just ride your ski straight up onto a concrete ramp - Not to be rude man but R. U. NUTS?? - hull gonna be shredded like canned tuna
Lol No it has the 4" wide hull protector strip full length
@@kiwirangerchannel Not a reason to put it to the test...perfectly good docks all around you.
It has a 4' wide keelguard 😁
How bad was riders fatigue my friend?
Hi! Not bad at all, the rough ride back was ok but throttle control was tiring.
You should have your lanyard attached.. Not a good move.

What was your average cruising speed on that run?
just under 20mph about 18mph 1-2ft waves
How much hours it take you to ride from bimini to miami
3.5 to 4hrs
How long was the ride over to Bimini?
3hrs if u maintain close to 20mph
Cant you run the whole way at 50mph ?
Yes use 2.5 3 times faster
Dont have a jet ski, but seriously thinking about it for trips to Bimini. If physically able, how long can you ride a jet ski a t full throttle?
About an hour 45 minutes
Till you run out of fuel?
You would not be riding in the ocean or anywhere at full throttle, very dangerous! You would fall off in minutes in the ocean too bumpy.
Yiu dint go full speed Bahamas full efect rom n axoum rabge
Try not to run your ski on to concrete, messing your hull up. Tie it to the dock.
Yes, it has the rubber protector strip on the keel.
He thinks that piece of rubber glued to the hull makes it acceptable.
Was it easy to find gas to fill back up in Bimini
