- This is the center portion of my beginner level ballet class to Disney music! (And Disney ballet fashion, of course!) This is a basic ballet center but I give you options for more intermediate and advanced dancers. Pace yourself and do your best. We focus on building technique and strength, so just keep smiling!

Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. Let's bring the joy back to ballet! Kathryn is literally the best teacher on CZcams I’ve learned so much so far I’m only been taking adult ballet for seven years, but I’ve learned so much currently taking a intro to absolute beginner workshop at the national valley of Canada in Toronto every Sunday morning. I have off arthritis in my knee so I have to be careful. Catherine makes it look so easy because she such a beautiful ballerina but she’s also a wonderful teacher and I love the centre work. I’m trying to get into the centre work because I rely on the bar too much and I find the centre work works everything so I don’t know whether I can do all of this class but I’ll try thank you Catherine. These themed barres and centres are so much fun! I usually enjoy doing ballet at home so much less than in class, but these just have some extra sparkle and bring the joy back a little. Thank you for always showing us what a joy it is to dance❤
These classes are so relaxing and well-paced. The intros are quick enough to sharpen my listening and vocabulary skills yet enough time to recover and prepare!
During the Waltz my friend and I were pretending g to be the fairies and yelling "pink" "blue!" So much fun!

Teaching this level, it’s difficult to vary their experience but this is a fabulous idea! The music is beautiful and recognizable for all of them! I can’t wait to bring these to my kids! It will def add a freshness to my curriculum! I love listening to you teach and encourage!

I almost had to laugh at the way you marked the grand allegro, becauss my teacher does the exact same thing! Sometimes when he's making the combination to teach us he'll do that and somehow we understand it! Ballet dancers have their own language 😆

I use my dongle connector to my phone. It’s not Bluetooth, I just use the extra piece

Everyone's timeline is different. There's honestly no definite answer. You are FAR too young to be in a company yet, so that's not an issue. Just do your best, work hard, and see how far you can go!
