Where does this rank in Scotland's best derbies???
It is about a 3 stars

My uncle played with both Falkirk and Dunfermline in the 60's. Sadly he's no longer here but will always be remembered. Ian "Cowboy" Cowan. Legend!!!!
Great! Thanks for sharing that...👍
Cowan... now there's a proper Scottish name.
It's all about local pride standing with your fellow fans who live in the same area and support their local team. It's not about glory hunting or religion. Rangers or Celtic fans will never get this level of pride of their local team beating their biggest rivals
Had no idea of this derby living in darkest Essex. But the limbs of the dunfermline fans was quality. Love this type of vids
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is why we love Scottish football, those celebrations were immense
Getting a 3pm kick off video out on the same day is a superb effort. Brilliant Sam
rangers fan here. very good limbs from the pars. makes me happy seeing games like this, filled with pure passion. makes a change from the old firm. thanks for highlighting these kind of games, only brings more eyes to scottish football.
Yer right. The old firm are shite, booing their team and sitting in silence unlike the Pars and Celtic 😂
@@Daviebhoy25cfc eh ,,,,,,, ceptic are one half of the old firm , make yer mind up 🤡
There's no old firm anymore
@@robertthomson4013 the rangers are the new/old firm..Celtic are not half of anything.
@@Daviebhoy25cfc that's funny as your vile club pay to protect the old firm brand ???? Also FIFA SFA uefa judges barristers lawyers solicitors law courts all say Glasgow rangers are the same club , so basically you and the rest of the moon howlers are gibbering slavering 💩
I love how you always interview people from all walks, giving people who normal TV wouldn't air a chance to have their little moment, and be heard as well - top man Sam
Many thanks for another really enjoyable posting. I've lost count of the number I've watched and still keep coming back for more. Keep up the great work
The reaction of the dunfermline fans when they went 1 nil up and when the whistle went off were class
Some atmosphere created by the pars fans. Fair play to them. Would be good to see them back in the prem.
And Falkirk
@@TheUniversalGamer87 fuck Falkirk
Brilliant!!!!!! Another brilliant video. This channel is in my top three football channels.
Love it, love a good derby. Quality content.
Hi Sam, I was the guy sitting just down the front of you that spoke to you during the game, great video even though the result wasn’t what I wanted. Keep up the good work and hopefully you can make it back to another derby where we win 😁👍
Loving the content of these videos, capturing the pure passion. Great work mate
Things you love to see! Great coverage as always, Sam!
COYP! 🏁🏁🏁
Omg copying our songs noo
Endless COYB you mean
dirty rat
I never knew you were at the game, it's nice to see your video on it.
Superb. Incredible atmosphere. Well captured
Great video Sam, absolute scenes in the away end, great to see the younger fans getting in on it.
As much as We despise them fair play to selling your allocation rarely done unless it’s Hibs Gers etc. Your wee crew glad yous were kept in for 20 mins as there were 100 plus in black waiting outside. The few that got out paid the price. No condoning it in anyway but why leave early considering rescent events
Few of the older heeds stopped some scarfers from getting done on way to Grahamston train station see we aren’t all bad
Why were there Hamilton boys in your end approached me asking where to get a taxi said they were from Hamilton sounded Fife to me. Pulled them to the side told them every one around yous are picking of fifers zip it walk to the toon or get away and taxi asap after 20 or so just got done in the car park.
If you read this you’ll remember not for a moment did I think you guys were from Hamilton if so pm me saved your arse then btw 😉
The attendance given was 7279, which was the second highest attendance in Scotland yesterday. Only the Celtic/Dundee Utd game beat it.
Nearly 8000 people at the game, crazy attendance for a league 1 game
Hi I was there falkirk looked like the better team in the first half but they could not finish.
Me and a couple mates decided to do this game as our team, Aberdeen, had played on the Friday night. We felt quite disappointed with the atmosphere from the Falkirk fans for a derby game, and we were left very impressed by the Dunfermline fans throughout. Thought the 2nd half livened the game up though and it is quite the derby.
Great content as always, who knew this was as passionate a rivalry as that? I certainly didn't and will watch out for tis fixture from now on. Leeds fan from Hull. 👍
Brilliant video mate. Some great "limbs" in the away end. Again...one of your videos proves that there is so much more to scottish football than just the old firm
Visited the Kelpies several times but the most sombre was the Recovery walk 💜🙏
Class. Dunfermline have been my wee team from the 90's.
Great win.
Great result and great vid!COYP!!!
Brilliant content as ever, thank you for the continued coverage of Scottish fitba.
Absolutely outstanding limbs from the Pars fans there - i utterly despise Failkirk so this is an absolute bonus.
Why do u despise Falkirk should be despising rangers 🙄
Wicked atmosphere that is! Looks great fun.
Your vids are quality content 😊
Ah the old brockville! I went to see Motherwell beat Falkirk there in the cup. The new stadium was built to get them back in the spl as they won the championship or 1st division 3 times but couldn’t get promoted due to not having a 10,000 seater stadium as brockville had a few standing only stands.
Motherwell benefitted one year as we would have been relegated from the spl for the first time if they had 10,000 seater
Brilliant Football channel.🏴
As a pars fan, that was quite superb ! Keep up the good work !
Shoulda said u were coming to Falkirk, would’ve came said hi, lover your videos.
8k at a Scottish 3rd tier match is impressive. Always had a soft spot for the pars, atmosphere looked decent
6200 there.. but still amazing for 3rd tier..
Or it shows these two need to get their fingers out
@@scottchisholm9530 7279
Well done, enjoyed that.
Used to live in Falkirk and saw a few matches i loved it friendly staff good food and when in Scotland again I go to a match
Mon the pars! Some feeling when that went in 👍
Well well well! First of all, great to see you decided to come along to the game today and glad you were able to finally see us win! The away end was absolutely crazy today - as it always is when we visit Falkirk. This rivalry is right up there with the biggest in Scotland and long may that continue. Super proud of our defensive performance and thrilled with the final result. Great video as always, Sam. Keep up the good work and you're welcome to come and watch us play anytime you'd like! 🏁🏁🏁
Great video mate
Big crowd, and definitely two clubs who should be at a much higher level than they are at the moment. Hopefully see them both back in the Premier League at some point in the future
They would be if we brought back a sixteen club division
😂😂😂 both teams are where they are and should always be 😂😂 be higher 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
On their standard of football they belong in the third tier.
Both teams have been good earners for other league 1 clubs. They bring good crowds to the smaller clubs. While they are probably the best clubs in the league, they have to fight for it. Montrose, my club, held Falkirk to a draw and beat Dunfermline. But I reckon they’ll both go up, and rightly so.
@@McConnachy In 5 years time Montrose will be a much better team than us (Falkirk).
Our board are the least supportive of onfield success of anyone in Scottish Football and only care about making money for themselves.
I mean really Falkirk should be in a position where they should have had promotion all but sealed by Christmas the first season they got relegated not languishing there for seasons with no reasonable expectation that they will be promoted this year.
I managed to speak to John "Yogi" Hughes once about his experience managing Falkirk, he said he loved the club but the lack of support from the board made it impossible for any manager to be successful and they actively disincentivize exceeding expectations.
For example, he said when Falkirk first got into the SPL the board gave him his budget for the year and set their target of finishing 11th in the league, well John Hughes team finished 10th, instead of praising him and rewarding him the board told Yogi, your target was 11th because we finished 10th we obviously over-budgeted and cut his budget, stating your target is to finish 11th. The next season even with a reduced budget Falkirk finished 7th in the SPL, again the board said our target was 11th we are obviously giving you too much money and cut the budget again, rinse and repeat the next season when despite budget cuts we finished 7th again.
I suspect we will be in league 1 for as long as the current board is in place, which is shocking considering Falkirk is something like the 7th or 8th largest supported team in Scotland with only really teams from the big cities managing to outdraw us consistently.
Great to see the good turnout on both sides! #SupportYourLocalTeam
fair play cracking atmos, both teams should be higher and prob premiership but had their issues, as for the crowd I remember 13k plus when they were going for promotion to premier with leishman, jim duffy etc
Top of the league, lookin' down on the Falkirk!
For now🤣
Celtic songs all game I heard.
Dven heard a “Hail Hail
Sing your own songs if yous have any?
@@User_TheBairns only thing with Scottish football, everyone copies the old firm chants 😂
@@MrSlappHead I don't think Falkirk use any Old Firm chants. A few chants we've nicked and adapted from other clubs as everyone does but mostly it's our own chants, but almost nothing that was inspired by either Rangers or Celtic
Naw we Falkirk have our songs traditional and knew original chants
Hail Hail pars are here “ surely yous could dae better than that and the above plus every 1 that’s a Celtic tune.
Always a great watch ...
Hi good friends, and this is one of the best respective Scottish League 1 matches and both Falkirk and Dunfermline are two of my favourite respective clubs daily and ever in this world and other planets!!!🙏
Nice one Depek!!!!!
As a Raith rovers fan I am impressed at that pars atmosphere. Get it is a huge game but that has really embarrassed me that the pars had limbs like that 😮😮😮
Mon hearts and Falkirk

The game at eastend at new year is going to be massive, can’t wait
My cousin Eddy O’Hara played for Falkirk. They won the cup that year.
Aye ?
Falkirk Fear. Ground looks quite nice. Never been there. Respect from AussieMart. Stoke City FC.
Get down to Dingle land next Sunday, Cracking derby,Cracking atmosphere, always is when we play them DINGLE’s.
So true. Two sets of fans that have hated each other for over 130 years. A bit dangerous though so keep your wits about you if you ever get down, not that you could get a ticket though!
Gutted we lost today but what a game, massive crowd and great money for the club!
Massive crowd 😂😂😂
@@leektid4624 I mean it is, almost 8000 for a League One game, that's ridiculous. And in comparison to teams like Livi, Hamilton etc, it's a big jump in numbers.

Two week ago, first cambridgeshire league derby for 21 years. It kicked off everywhere all day.
I heard it was that bad they were even throwing university prospectuses at each other, mental.
An idea for another video.. Rating the derby days atmospheres!
Great to see my dads car while fans are being interviewed great 🎉
Smart looking stadium with the exception of a stand missing down one side....went to the old stadium in the 80's to watch Leeds in a pre season friendly
Basically they spent too much money on the main stand, the intention was to build the full stadium in installments, but when they got to the point where they had a 3 stand stadium that will rarely ever get filled to capacity then they stopped the expansion.
They'd have been better making a smaller main stand and having the 8-10K seats surround the pitch rather than mostly being in the main stand.
they were saying on the radio yesterday the enmity goes back to the miner's strike...a hundred years ago
The Kelpies are beautiful, and , the Falkirk Wheel is pretty impressive too, another good one Sam.
Always have a soft spot for Falkirk, I took unwell at a Celtic cup tie at the old Brockville, and, was really looked after by their stewards and medical people.
Hi, I am Alex Boyes, just want to let you guys know Amputee Football Association Scotland will be hosting a tournament at the Oriam Edinburgh, Scotland,Ireland , Belgium and Israel , games Sat/Sun from 10am, come along if you can
COYP good video ,Cracking atmosphere the pars away supports always been good very partisan , But add a wee trip to scumkirk and you can easy add 50% + to the army, On the rivalry/derby it stems back to 4 things Dockers,Miners,History & Some distasteful Incidents "on both side's" . But in terms of is it a derby's tbh its not. I don't see its as 1 per say; but the result and gloating ranks similar to the importance of the rovers & the other fife derby's , though Falkirk's actual derby is East Stirling historically. But this is a fixture of pure rivaled haltered and is easy up their with the Aberdeen v Rangers game! easily! and a imop a top 6/7 fixture in the spl calendar no matter the league.
im a kilmarnock supporter and another good derby when they get to play together is the Ayrshire derby between Ayr and kilmarnock
From what I've heard the rivalry is down to stuff that happened after the reading pit collapsed
Yes there is a history of rivalrly between the supporters of both clubs but Falkirk V Dunfermline is NOT a Derby game.
great that 7k fans turned out for this. More than a lot of Premiership teams
So sad to see my team lose but there was limbs everywhere I looked it was good
I've been to see Falkirk Vs Celtic a couple of years ago and yeah it's quite a good atmosphere. Celtic fan btw
I’m a rangers fan, but also go to some Falkirk games as it’s local, re the atmosphere, I was at a Falkirk/ pars game with my son several years ago when it was still brockville, the place was heaving, one of the best atmospheres I’ve heard at that fixture in a long time, yesterday comes close.
@@yvonnejohnston9429 I'm a Falkirk fan the loss of places like Brockville is a massive loss to Scottish football. Stadiums like that were the heart and soul of the game. Sure it's nice to have the big fancy stadiums, but there is a certain something about the raggedy old stadiums.
Modern stadiums all feel the same with the only difference being the colour of the seats, whereas all the old stadiums felt unique.
@@24magiccarrot how very true, was sad when they decided to get rid of brockville, in my view Westfield doesn’t have the same vibe/ atmospheric conditions as brockville did.
@@yvonnejohnston9429 It wasn't really a decision Falkirk were forced to build a bigger stadium if they wanted to play in the SPL and there just wasn't the space to expand where the old stadium was.
“The deliverance derby”
Please go to the one in january as well
dont you just love the way some fans fell and all the others trampelled over them!
Wish I could be there.
I love your vids Sam however I feel like you need a wee break from the UK and you should try a few matches abroad to document not only the football but different cultures and you should make it into its own series. I would honestly watch every minute
He has. He went to Ireland.
When Falkirk came to Dunfermline there was mayhem in the street and chairs being thrown.
I hope they put them back. 👜
Great limbs :)
Went to the game as neutral as I was over from Belfast visiting friends. Was surprised at the atmosphere for the two clubs being in league 1. Good to see people out supporting there local team. But that referee, I thought he had an absolute stinker 😅
Come on ye pars 🏁🏁🏁 up ye Falkirk
COYP!!!!
What car do you have please
Never knew there was such a fierce rivalry between Falkirk and Dunfermline. Is this bigger than Dunfermline v Raith Rovers for the Pars?
Yes.
The rivalry between Dunfermline and Falkirk can be more intense. Our main 'derby' is still Raith Rovers.
Yes. We absolutely detest Falkirk....Rovers we just feel sorry for
@@ShaneWilson1885 Average attendances would suggest Falkirk is bigger than Raith Rovers.
FYI Falkirk have a secondary rivalry with Raith Rovers as well just Dunfermline is bigger.
Great video, nice to see none of that sectarian bile!😊
Loved how he said Hibs Hearts.Celtic Rangers. Scottish commentators always say Rangers and Celtic as if Celtic are secondary.
When can u go to an ayr united at home game it would be such fun🎉
Dunfermline fans are usually pish but really surprised me !! DEE4LIFE 🏴 🇨🇵
My son and me are Dunfermline season tickets holders..how’s much we hate Falkirk it just imagine biggest club in world which is old firm ..not as big as Celtic v Rangers ..but madness atmosphere
Told you about a year ago that you really need to get to a Falkirk and Dunfermline derby, definitely Premier team’s and support. The absolute hate for each other is 100 real.
Lot’s of bad blood from past years
Norrie McCarthy, Dean Shield’s 1 fake eye, them singing walk doon to electric avenue after our 14 year academy player died at Little Kerse.
Always a sellout. Although Dunfermline didn’t sell out the full allocation at East end last game
We never do sell EEP out well rarely its a 11.5k stadium and in my 40 years of watching the pars , iv seen it full like 9 times tbh Airdrie 2-1 , Aberdeen playoff, rangers x 3, celtic x4 , Most resent was vs raith a few year back ! when hardie hit that wonder goal . EEP stadium is way to big a relic from days gone by and stupid spfl rules . But Dunfermline are Scottish footballs sleeping giant all ways have been
Falkirk fans making hissing/gas leak noises back in the 90's after Norrie McCathie (least get the guys name correct) passed away in 1996 from carbon monoxide poisoning, the Dunfermline captain. Falkirk fans still sing about that and post tripe online about it, can't say heard over the years about the young academy lad from our fans, yes both sets have few clowns in both camps, most don't even know what they are singing about when comes to the opposition. Falkirk players getting suspended for abusing Shiels for having a fake eye (ironically one of them now plays for Dunfermline), then Falkirk fans throwing fake eye balls onto the park at the lad . Not always a sell out, wasnt today, nor the game earlier in season which falkirk didnt sell out a reduced allocation never mind getting the whole away stand. Lot of it is good rivalry amongst friends, though if u dont know an opposition supporter they are the enemy 100%, but can be spoilt by a few clowns from both sides like most clubs, mainly silly little lads going around in stone island clothing thinking they are something.
Falkirk end was not sold out today. Easily 500-600 empty seats in the main stand
7600 do 200 short at your ground earlier in season there was huge sections empty main stand and the guy Macuthurs stand
There you sorry u you Oi had to pick thorough my grammar to look for a nit pick
@@User_TheBairns 7600 do 200 short? macauthurs stand? if you gonna make a point least have the decency to get the information correct ! huge sections in empty main stand.... oh yeah that is the section for the away support which you couldnt get close to selling out a restricted number of tickets for one stand lol
There's actually four teams in this league you could call Derby games; Falkirk, Dunfermline, Alloa Athletic and Kelty Hearts. Great video; thoroughly enjoyed it.
Decent , but no a patch on the ayrshire Derby with regards to hatred.
The reason you havent heard about it is that most football fans don't see this is a derby. Rivalry maybe but definitely an invention. Be that as it may I always hope thre PARS hammer them.
The Champion's ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
Going to hell for this but at 4:35 did the boy have a helium balloon before saying 5-0 Dunfermline
Intrigued to know why the keeper comes up for the corner yet Falkirk left a defender in the centre circle?
The Teuchter derby
Still no idea why there is such rivalry between the two teams. Essentially two bald men fighting over a comb. Their best days are well in the past.
Nice video. Brockville was a dump and without the council funding the move Falkirk would still be there.
There are other sights in the Falkirk area. The Kelpies are actually in Grangemouth. The boundary between the two towns runs down the middle of the stadium. Try the Falkirk Wheel next time. Amazing bit of engineering
Keep up the good work.
Loved the bit where someone dropped a quid causing mayhem in the away end 🤯
It was a scramble 😂
Come on the PARS
Superb into those F*lkirk mutants COYP!
Easily as good as the Dundee Derby imo
