Why should we not support shein?
If you want to shop more sustainably I would recommend poshmark it’s affordable and you can find so many cute things. They do have shein, and so many other brands. I would really recommend it if it’s something you would be interested in. 💕
@@nancylean860 it is pretty unethical unfortunately. it uses child labor and is also fast fashion which is bad for the environment! this is why u may chose to not support that brand

it’s like so many shein rumors going around but fast fashion and child labor is in almost every shop you can shop at (examples: hollister ae and others like those) so sadly you can’t escape it and we do have no wear clothes we enjoy right💕
yea that’s true but shein is sooo bad for the climate like i dunno watch some vids or something about shein cus they’re bad af like i’m pretty proud to say i’ve never bought something from shein
@@heleneeeeeeeee yea shein is bad for the climate but so is every other store even thrift stores cause you’re still gonna get a bag that’s gonna be thrown out and put into a pile of trash on a beach. that’s just the cycle of this messed up world. and with inflation and ppls high demand for clothes and shoes and “trends” we obviously aren’t gonna stop them soon enough but all WE can do as individuals is recycle and help our own community’s to at least start a movement 🤍🤍
@@miyaatyanii that’s not the point. the way shein produces their stuff is sooo bad for the climate and their clothing doesn’t even last long most of the times cus of the bad materials and chemicals in the clothes
@@heleneeeeeeeee i’ve have shein clothes for over 3+ years and they’re all fine. and also the same way all those clothes are bad materials is so bad is the same way so many other brands are too like emmiol, five below, and even many shoe brands. producers put certain chemicals in their brands to make the product “better” it’s a system we can’t escape but yet try to help and change one person at a time. so why not try to help the brand and show them recycling ways rather than shut them out completely

shein is the lowest of the low when it comes to sustainability, unfortunately. i personally do not support them nor do i think anyone should. on another note, very tingly video!!
