Looks perfect. That’s exactly what I did. Once I put away my main christmas decor, washed floors and gave baseboards a good cleaning I brought in some fresh greenery and kept my acorns and neutral candles out. I’m not ready for spring decor yet. Being a Canadian I still love our winters! Happy new year
I think that’s perfect. I personally think it’s too soon for spring stems so I thought still incorporating my greenery was the perfect transition. Thanks for watching and happy new year ❤🎉

I love your style and decor. It's so unique and stands apart from others that do more of a cookie cutter style. One of my many favorites is the greenery that you use in your vessels. *Keep the Cozy* . Living in Upstate NY, Spring is a long way away. My evergreen sprays and picks stay until late February. Rustic wood and texture are must haves for me! Your styling was right up my alley and that throw on your sofa is divine!
100%%%% even living in California (where we don’t get a winter)….. it’s too soon to pull spring and flowers out. I felt the texture/patterns and greenery were the perfect transition. I still have pine smell diffusing and pine candles burning! Glad you enjoyed!

I felt refreshed watching this video. Although my holiday decor is still up, I plan to revisit this video when I'm ready to take down my holiday decor. I love how you had Ryder help out. Creating those kind of tender moments will give your daughter beautiful memories to reflect on as she gets older.
I think everyone should take their Christmas decor down when they feel ready to. No rush !! Like you said, now you have some reference if you are struggling when all your items are down.

I totally get it. We might not be as hot as you guys... but CA has a joke of a winter season (if you even want to call it that). We were 80 degrees on Christmas. Nothing says the "holidays" like sweating when the whole country is experiencing record snow storms/freezing temps.
It would be fun to try to put something together on pulling textures,. patterns and tones together for you guys. I just need to figure out a way to make it happen !!!!!

Everything looks perfect! Honestly I think this is some of the best decorating I’ve seen you do yet! Every vessel and stems looks perfection… chefs kiss 💋 YOU really pick out the best stems! The vessel with the stems on your console behind the couch looks like it’s professionally made like you bought it that way. I love the unique stems in it! I need them all! I hope they’re still in stores. The hutch in the kitchen with that touch of the painting looks so beautiful! I love the mirror above it too. The pics on the sides of the mirror are busy for me but I’m sure they’re a fave of yours. I like the simplicity of that area. You did a great job! Love everything! 👍❤️

Hi looks so clean, modern, and appropriate for the in between seasons. I did something similar at our church, it looks so bare when all the Christmas decor is taken down. So we did large arrangements of greenery and branches. Thanks for the inspo!

I love that you left the winter greenery! You are right, it isn’t Christmas anymore, but it IS still winter! We were out of state for 10 days and I felt we didn’t get to fully enjoy our Christmas decor (mainly greens, white twinkle lights and a few bowls of neutral ornaments), so I had left Christmas out for now. As I was watching your video I hopped up and removed the bowls of ornaments and tweaked things a bit. Thank you for the inspiration. Your home and decor are very in tune with my own and I always get ideas from you.
I totally get that! My family and I went out of town the first week of December and I felt the month just flew by. Enjoy your Christmas decor for as long as you want and take it down when it feels right. Love it! i took everything down that represented Christmas to me but kept things out that represented Winter to me. I live in South Florida so the seasons here is hot most of the time and cold maybe 3 weeks if lucky. Therefore the different seasons are always represented in the inside of my house with out being tacky. I just couldn't jump into spring like the stores are showing because it is not spring yet. But too be honest I had Christmas decor up since November 11th, I know I know, but at my age Christmas comes so fast and it takes time to decorate, that I was biting at the bit to take it down, put away and have everything fresh and clean just like new fallen snow. We are in the same boat... here in CA .... our winters are very much like yours (non-existent) 😂. I too had Christmas up since mid November... so, I was just like you... pulling it down right after Christmas. I think bringing in elements of winter that represent the season is the perfect representation of the season. It is way too soon to be decorating for spring and just wouldn't feel right. HANNA, I HAVE A VINTAGE WOOD BUTTER STAMP THAT LOOKS LIKE YOURS (BUT A LITTLE MORE FLOWER DESIGN TO IT). IT CAME FROM AN ANTIQUE STORE MANY YEARS AGO. BACK IN THE TURN OF THE 19TH CENTURY, PEOPLE WOULD GO TO A GENERAL STORE IN THE CITIES AND BUY THEIR BUTTER THERE. IF THEY HAD MONEY AND COULD AFFORD A SOLID BLOCK OF BUTTER THEY WOULD HAVE IT STAMPED ON TOP. THIS WOULD MAKE FOR A FORMAL PRESENTATION ON THEIR TABLES. YOUR STAMP IS BEATIFUL. GOOD FIND.
Wow thank you for the little bit of history! I had no idea. I came across it antiquing and just thought it was the coolest thing. Someone had made it into a wall art as it had a hook on the back of it to hang on a wall... but I removed it and thought it was a a beautiful decor element on my books. Happy New Year! Last week my 10 yr. old Granddaughter and I were in HomeGoods. I was looking at their furniture and my Gdaughter started picking out items to decorate a sofa table in “ her living room” I immediately thought of you decorating at Target. She even picked out pillows for the sofa. Anyway, thought you might get a kick out of hearing this! Always love watching you decorate your home.
