What is the PPDT in SSB Interview?
Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT) is a screening test in the SSB. In this test, the candidates are shown a blurred picture for 30 seconds. Based on that, candidates are allotted 4 minutes to write a story on the image with details about what led to the situation, what is happening now, and the possible outcome.
The candidates are also requested to mark all the characters seen in the box on the left side of the paper encircling the position of the central character in the picture. The details of the nature, such as Age, Sex (Male, Female, or Person), and Mood (positive, negative & neutral), should also be mentioned. The candidates will also be allotted 1 min extra to write action before starting the story.
After writing the story, candidates are divided into groups of 10 - 18 based on their strengths and are told to narrate their story individually. After completing the stories of all the students, a group discussion is conducted in which students discuss the story & try to come up with a familiar story of PPDT. After this, one person is chosen among the group to narrate the usual story.

from the story i pursue, the ram who is twelve-year boy whose summer vacation has started so he insisted his parents to visit a nearby lake where his friends with their parents had a plan to go to spend some time after many request his parents agreed and went for the picnic his parents were not very happy about the idea but after reaching there, they also enjoyed a lot and ram and his classmate played in the lake and stayed in the nearby hotels.
this made ram parents think that due to Ram they also have a memorable time and next year they will go for a similar holiday.
In my story I perceived many characters having age group around 10 to 30 years , all having positive mood. Action of my story is awaring people about swach bharat.
Ram was a college student and also a social worker. There was a lake near his village where people comes to spent there free time and enjoy but they also polluted the lake and surrounding area near the lake. Ram and his friends decided to clean the lake area on Sunday and after his efforts lake appears to be clean. Ram also starts awareness programs by making posters of swach bharat and by placing some dustbins near the lake area. For this work Ram and his team praised by all visitors.
From the story i pursue that vivek, a 19 year old boy visited the bustling beach of visakhapatnam i.e. Ramkrishna beach... while walking on the beach,he observed the tu-142 aircraft and sea harrier museum, kursera submarine museum which is situated beside dr. Ntr beach roach..he visited these museums and felt inspired and decided to be part of elite forces.

Shivi 20 years old girl lived with her parents in Janakpuri Delhi. She was in final year. This year her college decided to organize a Goa trip. College Hod gave the responsibility to Shivi to inform all the students. Shivi asked her friend to help her in this. They divided their work Shivi held the responsibility of collecting the money and her friends writing all the student's name whoever is interested. They gave important info about the trip to students. On trip day they gave students' list and money to teacher. After reaching goa they all enjoyed a lot

From this pic wht I pursue is .jimmy age bw 21 to 24 yrs an engineering student. Planned for a picnic during his vacations. He discussed with his parents convinced them. Planned for the place , booked the vehicle invited his sister and family who settled in another town. Asked his mother to add the curd rice with lunch for better digestion. Also planned some games. Made all arrangements and visited gokarna beach. Thr they had boating played volleyball had sun bath and enjoyed alot. And his sis and family thanked him for the wonderful moment returned home with great pleasure.
Lalit is 22 years old boy he had taken REET examination for which he was preparing for 1 year along with his village friends. Result day was near and everyone was getting more and more stressed. He took charge and planned with his friends to go to picnic on result day along with their families.
They went to the beach and started whatever they liked .He likes boating, some of his friends liked laying in sun and some liked to just stroll along the beach. They all forget about the result and when result came midnoon lalit and his most friend passed it but some couldn't.But the mood was light and fun so who couldn't clear it ,didn't took the result the way they would have if they were at home. So Lalits planned worked they all came back home happily in evening .
Aryan is a 19 years old boy. He has just completed his fsc in pre medical. And now his parents are not in the mood of allowing him to study outside of the town. But he want to study in a very famous university in lahore. So he planned to convince his parents in a good way and requested all of his family members to go out on a trip. His sister alisha was so happy to hear that because they were never gone to a trip togather. His parents also agreed with him and decided to go to a lake just outside of his town on upcoming sunday. When sunday arrived he decided to invite his grandma secretly just to convince his parents because he knows that his father will never disobey her . His father was so grateful when he saw his mother joining them in thier picnic .So they go out and enjoyed the beautiful weather and lakeside so much .After the meal aryan started to convince them again. his father was not in the mood. but when his grandma joined him then after a little effort they convinced him. so his thanks his grandma and promised her that he will study very hard and will try his best to see his parents satisfied with his studies. Ramesh ,25 yrs old MBA student who is percusing in economic visited his village in visakapatnam which is near a beach ,he find it a tourism place but due to lack of facilities and polluted ,the numbers of people are decreasing day by day ,he talk to the beach management office ,convince them to increase boating,stalling,security guards,offers during holiday and special occassions ,good facilities of transport to reach it from city ,management of dustbins and slogans to throw wastes in dustbin e.t.c. , the offfice implements his words ,thanked him ,eventually the number of tourists increases .

Sir, it is such a nice picture so why are you making it a case where you are including bombs, terrorist and all these kind of negative activities. so as one of the basic thing about being an officer is, you must be a problem solver not a problem creator. There is nothing in this picture which depicts anything negative and we are forcing it to be negative by including bombs in it. Very questionable story sir.
Let me give you an example of a story. Based on this picture there was a boy who perceived MBA from Indian Institute of management. He saw his village has a potential to develop it as a tourist spot and create jobs in his village and boost the economy of his district then accordingly he took all the measures to make it a well Eco-friendly and safe tourist destination. End of the story.

Theme- enjoy vacation with family.
Story:- It was summer time and vacation was about to start. Navi (24) was lived in Delhi with his wife Neeta and 2 children. One evening, at the dinner time they together discussed to go on family trip . They decided to go Goa as his wife was dream place to visit. Next day he booked tickets and went there. They stayed at hotel near to beach, start following plan that they made before coming. They were full enjoyed sea activities, his daughter was afraid to water so he made her confident to water. They also visit fort and zoo. In all 7 days they enjoyed a lot. It was very fun and enjoyable trip.

Theme:- Beach cleaning program
Story:-: Ram (21) was college student in Mumbai. Last Sunday he visited juhu beach with his family and found that beach was in bad condition, garbage is everywhere around. He dicided to clean beach. Next day he went to college and meet NSS president of his college, tell him this problem and urge him to organise beach cleaning program. Next day he with his nss team reached on beach. He distributed beach area with team and start cleaning. All waste that collected was send to municipality centre, so send it further. Thus way beach was cleared and every one was happy.

But my my main character is Ram who was 17 year old.
One day he got ssb tes call letter. His ssb center was in Ssc Bhopal. Then did preparation of ssb interview and go to Bhopal. But first day.he become screenout from ssb after that he back to come staion and decided with friends to go visit famous lake of Bhopal. And go there and visit every sight and enjoy.. After he goes back to the station and goes home❤

Amit who always wanted to serve his country by gutting into CBI. He worked hard and joined as Sub Inspector in CBI. One day his team was reported of the whereabouts of a criminal who was later found at the Juhu beach. Amit went there and caught the criminal. He was later punished for his bad deeds. Amit did a sign of great victory.
