    I've been tea/coffee dying paper for ever and though I put 4/5 sheets in the pan at a time, I wouldn't think of putting the amount in that you do - brilliant and time saving! I also pop mine in the oven but try and put a few sheets in at a time, now I'll be putting them in as you do!. Brilliant video and will save me soooo much time - thank you very much :-) x

    Now this is the good stuff, I love all the variation, I really dont like uniformity too much especially if youre making things that are unique xxx Thanks so much

    Thanks for posting this! I watched a few videos of people dying one page at a time and I was like, "nope!" I planned to just try your method myself and see what happens, but I was glad to see that my idea works!

    I'm happy I found your video. I don't have room or patience to do that many sheets at one time. I wanted to dye papers a few days ago and didn't because I could only do a few at a time. Your way is awesome. I can't wait to try this. Thank you for sharing...:)

    I just made some, I was thinking that you had to soak you paper overnight and boy was I surprised when I started watching videos. I had dyed a lot of paper and so I turned on my oven and started the drying. Some of the paper burnt on the edges, they were ripped and it was only 2 pieces but it took me over an hour but I have lots of paper done.

    That's really cool, thanks for the video! Do you think that paper can be put in the printer when it's dry to print on it?

    • @creativemirzy
      @creativemirzy  Před 5 lety +26

      I have managed to put it through the printer as is before but the best way would be to tape some masking tape to the wrong side edge and it should go through as long as the rollers can catch it, it should be fine. I hope that helps.

    i did my paper the same as you and when i lifted it out the sheets started to rip..........what paper do you use , mine is 80gsm
    ???

    • @creativemirzy
      @creativemirzy  Před 6 lety +7

      I used plain copier paper 80gsm. Try putting them in one at a time to make sure they are all soaked then drain the pan and put them in the oven in batches of 4 or 5 that way you are not just picking up one sheet and they are less likely to rip. Hope that helps.
