Last time I saw Moderat was just over 5 years ago in Manchester the month before my dad passed away. I tried to reach out to the organisers to special request they play “Milk” our favourite song but they played it anyway and we vibed away. 5 years on, I can’t stop playing this song on repeat it’s spectacular. I know my dad would have his head bopping away. Thank you Moderat, always. ✨

Listening to this song I have the same feelings I had 20 years ago when I discovered Apparat. There's something about it that touches my soul in the same way as before. I feel the past and the present.
Sascha has such a beautiful voice and I love his music also as Apparat. He's heavenly. But together with Modeselektor, it all becomes perfect to me.
I randomly found him on iTunes in 2009. Arcadia hooked me.

This is a beautiful track, the vocal sounds like Paul Williams. So many good electronic acts releasing good stuff like Royksopp, HVOB, Anfisa Letyago, Floating Points. Would also recommend Fejká.

The French jumpstyle/Tekstyle he does is brilliant. Haven't seen such a good one in a long while.
This is a Spanish jumpstyler. Jumpstyle is Dutch/Belgian and the variant he is practising is Polish. Nothing French involved. French Tek does exist.. but its a musical subgenre.

I'm glad people still recognize the dance, it has been alive eversince it was a thing but not many people know about it. :(

To be honest I had never heard of MODERAT, I was very lucky to be working as site crew on a beautiful festival a few years ago called lost Village, MODERAT were playing. I am also into electronic music and like to twist a few knows lol 303 and the likes. Seeing these guys up close on stage actually blew me away and yes I became a fan . So glad they are producing music again, unbelievable pad work as always with such a blended vocal mix . Love it . You really have to see these guys live to appreciate their skill. RESPECT 🙏

SO powerful. Moderat's 2016 show in Seattle was my gateway into the deeper end of electronic music, and I've never looked back. Their performance moved me like no other, and I consider it one of my favorite my favorite live music experiences. So glad to see y'all back at it doing what you do best. After all the years I've been following this project and your separate projects this is the first album that I really loved from the first time and I've listened to on repeat so many times. Congratulations! This is a huge success for everyone involved. This album is truly special and brings so much joy. Totally jealous for those who will attend to live gigs. My 6 years old daughter loves Moderat.
This was the soundtrack of many months of feeling like levitating for me. The final year of my 7-year marriage, when I started to have so many affairs because I lost the love of my life. So many memories, so many quiet moments, so many fast lane traveling nights, so many tears. So much hope, so much regret. What an incredible album, especially FAST LAND, EASY PREY, and DOOM HYPE.

I don't get why Apparat synergizes so well with other artists, but I'm so grateful that he does because everything Moderat makes is pure gold. Been a fan since I stumbled upon "Way Out" with Ellen Allien. "Rusty Nails" sent my mind into orbit and this song is definitely on par with it in quality.
I can't connect the storylines in the video and the song, but I appreciate it. I get that there's a butterfly effect going, but the scene of the group bearing torches seemed random in the context of things 🤔

Just saw them Live. It was GREAT. Also love how these music videos and the live show visualisations all have this vibe of questioning whether technology might be harmful for us. Especially as someone in the field where most have this mindset of doing things just because they can, without questioning themselves what negative effects or misuse potential their developments might have...
