So you get punished by doing the takedown achievement?
That "super grip" turn is still too risky especially for super/hypercars imo. There is always a good chance you would spin out like you just did in the video depsite being a bit faster during corner but that's it. (Not hating, just trying to point out what I've experienced and observed).
@@Otherface not really, if you only do the takedown you still get to use the super grip/ burst Nos but if you collided with another car before hand you won't get burst Nos out of said takedown

You know, for future updates, they should buff a lot of cars instead of just nerfing the Regera, just so there is a much larger competition and much more cars become more fun to drive.

Oh, 100%. Not only that, they should make the Bugatti Chiron at least competitive. I was seething when I found out that despite having the fastest top speed stat in the game, top speed is limited to WAY below that.
Its also so fucked that in this vid he's using every burst nos and nos available to him and the regera is still pulling away.
I like the idea, but here me out. Most players can barely handle an s class car let alone a regera. Almost every game I join are a bunch of kids driving regeras slamming into everything behind me making life hell for everyone.

Prior to the race start, i was like: WTF? there's just a single Regera and a bunch a Porsche Spyders on your lobby's players' list.
Then i saw the other three Regeras in front of you as soon the camera switched to your car's POV and i bursted laughing.

It's insane how good the reggera is, i play the story mode, i already completed it, but im farming cash to mod some cars, and I can't lose a single race in that thing, it's so easy to win with it
They should have put the jesko to have some competition for the regera and also i feel developers should have given better cars to the ai drivers in highest tier races

Love your videos! Before each race or after can you show how you spec out the cars your using for the videos? I would really like to see your build for your NSX video.
That build is an old build. Currently I am waiting for tests to officially confirm the best builds (engine swaps, etc). But the general meta build is to reduce your top speed as much as possible in favor of acceleration.
Multiplayer actually seems pretty fun in this game

Every single race in lakeshore online is a meat grinder. I find unbound extremely lamentable, coming from a player who plays mostly sim racers

Every time I got into a playlist with Regeras, it was people who changed at the last second after being on something less powerful for most of the wait time

Regeras are the worst but your Countach seemed nice. Btw, do you have it at 100% grip? Cause it seemed like it wanted to brake out of gripping at some points. :)
Ps. For super grip i have found that simply letting go of the steering a millisecond after tapping the nos button helps when using 3 bars and trying to corner at the same time.

Typical Regera players 😂. I love that car but it's too OP at the moment without much competition unless they buff Chiron (which they should)!
This Really Showed the Attention to Detail And Research NFS Does, You can see that The regera is better in a straight line due to its huge horsepower gain and it's single speed gearbox, but the countach is better in overall cornering speed and handling in general. Although the Countach is down by over 500hp in stock form, the aerodynamic body and its handling makes up for it and due to the 7-speed transmission it has as it can release more torque on specific Rpms that you can achieve while accelerating in selecter gears, unlike The Regera's Single-Speed Trans, you need to reach a specific Rpm like 5k rpms which means you need to go over 62+mph in order to reach. +Lamborghini's Main Goals are: 1. Handling, 2. Top Speed, 3. Acceleration.
Regera in this game is actually good at corner too.

I've been having blast beating regeras with the vw golf lol. I don't win all the time but wen I do its glorious cause the golf handling is not even close as good as the regeras. And I know they get upset

I finally managed to grind just enough to buy my own Regera yesterday and... Man. It left me with a bittersweet feeling. On the one hand, I could now compete with Regeras. But on the other? Every single Regera driver... Actually sucks at driving. I don't compete with them, I literally slaughter them. In essence, it's as if I'm competing against nobody. Makes me wonder how they even grinded fast enough to get a Regera to begin with.

Bro its the same with me, I don’t lose to regeras in mines but I’ve decided to use my regera for good so anytime I see someone with one I crash them out the race and let everybody else who doesn’t have a regera win the race but if I see regular cars I hop in my S+ Q60 or RX-8 and have fun racing

I kinda noticed that most people who drive the Regera can't really drive the thing. They think "I buy op car no one beat me" but I've won playlists against Regeras driving my R35 which is the slowest S+ car I have.
S+ as a whole is just so incredibly unbalanced though. There's a small group of cars that are actually competitive against each other and are pretty evenly matched, and then you have the Regera on its own. Then on the other end of the spectrum is people trying out other cars that are just so hopelessly uncompetitive despite being in the same class. Maybe they could add a class or two above S+? I don't know.

Here on this game you race for yourself at the Trial on FH5 its a "team" effort but the antics are exactly the same or worse lmao
A+ class is the least affected class of the meta-syndrome but it's not enough.
A few things _need_ to happen come to the first update:
- Save the B and A classes from Super/Hypercars. It's not just the B-sta but that car is the biggest elephant in the room right now. The gear reductions need to be reworked on these cars so that the lowest they could go is high A+/ low S. (Make it so their lowest gear count option only limits them to 200+ MpH, thus allowing them never to touch the lower classes)
- The Performance Points Indicator needs to be reworked so that _speed_ is not considered the primary factor for a car's performance rating. This would solve the S class Golf GTI issue, as 904 hp is already quite a substantial amount of performance in most S+ cars, let alone S.
This final discussion point will talk about S+ as a whole performance class and will need its own sub-points. Note, this shouldn't be taken as what is _going_ to happen, as these changes may very well be unlikely to occur:
- 330+ for the S+ class is too large a range to cover for just one class imo. I feel like there should be a separation limit between 330 -> 399 as S+, with 400+ becoming S++ or X class (I know, very Forza-like but the disparity between 395 and 400+ is very apparent right now).
This way, we'd naturally have fewer regeras in S+, as there's not much you can do to reduce the performance rating on it from 400+ without making it underwhelming in performance, thus freeing up the meta podium for other cars.
This also opens the door to having the Bugatti be buffed to perform on par with the Koenigsegg in X class, and give regular cars a chance to be given _extra_ upgrading paths that allow them to enter this new class with the same treatment the Bugatti would but in different ways.
Potential such as making the RSR have the current speed of 225 MpH and the same cornering ability as is standard when in X class, but having the Acceleration toward 225 greatly improved in comparison to what it is now.
Or having a McLaren F1 reach 240 MpH and having similar Acceleration as the current regera, but have an easier time maintaining that speed in turns.
The regera does need balancing but not an obsoleting nerf. The easiest one to implement would be to slightly reduce the Acceleration it currently has, to the point that cars like the Lambos and Golf GTI can compete with it. Of course, the speed remains the same. A slight increase in understeer would also force the regera drivers to slow down a little more to make sharp or long turns without going too wide.
What other ways would you have the current game be balanced in performance, in an attempt to open up the meta car list on every class?

They just need to balance the vehicles better and disable making broken cars (the Pista and golf gti) with ungodly engine swaps
I feel in the lower classes every car upgraded to their max value for the class, like B,A,A+ should have the same handling characteristics and top speed so that a wider variety of cars can be used. Also the traffic system needs revamped cuz pileups affect racers not initially involved way too much.

Yea, you can find both of those upgrades in the Auxiliary section. One will improve the damage you deal, the other will reduce the damage you take

I'm developing this notion that there's someone high up at Criterion that literally cannot let go of Burnout so they just decree that every racing game they make be Burnout on some level.

NFS needs to buff the regera back to its normal top speed along with the Bugatti, and buff a few of the super and hypercars too. Then after all of that buffing, make another race tier specifically for those 400+ cars.
