    If you don't know yet how amazing this guy is...shame on you😊 He is a pioneer of so much music.
    The best thing we can all do is to listen to every kind of music from every generation. It is very humbling.

      No, Jim Gordon was doing this earlier. If you want to hear someone who sounds more like Bonham, before Bonham, look up a song by Nilsson called Girlfriend. You know the song if you ever watched The Courtship of Eddie's Father.

    CARMINE IS TWO YEARS OLDER THAN
    JOHN BONHAM BUT JOHN BEING IN THE GREATEST ROCK BAND IN THE 70S HANDS DOWN IS THE GOAT
    CARMINE AND HIS BROTHER HAD AMAZING CAREERS BOTH IN MY OPINION WERE UNDERRATED BUT TO SAY CARMINE TAUGHT JOHN I HIGHLY DOUBT IT HE DEFINITELY TAUGHT HIS YOUNGER BROTHER BUT NOT JOHN BONHAM

      Disagree. Bonham would have existed either way. He was also a Ginger Baker fan so he still would have become what he did regardless. May not have had that iconic thermogloss kit but that's it as far as Carmines influence.

    • @EricHarris-hm6wq
      @EricHarris-hm6wq Před 3 měsíci +1

      @macadoo2530 OH Bonham would have certainly existed that's not the point, Bonham himself told Carmine when zeppelin went out with the Fudge that he'd copied a good amount of Carmines shit and of course Carmine was honored, page talks about Bonzo's love for the fudge and Carmine so don't get it twisted Bonzo's whole thing was Carmine Appice all day long, I dig Bohnam but when I listen to him I know where it all came from simple as that......

    • @macadoo2530
      @macadoo2530 Před 3 měsíci +4

      @@EricHarris-hm6wqWith all due respect I'm not getting it 'twisted'.As history has shown Bonham changed rock drumming forever. Carmine..? He co-wrote 'Do ya think I'm sexy'.JB took inspiration/influence from many places.Yes Carmine was one but not the only one.To say 'without Carmine theres no Bonham..Period' is a bit of stretch. He changed Rock drumming by using the things he took from ALL the drummers he loved-not just Carmine alone. Bonham was a young and impressionable guy when he met Carmine but he took it to a whole other level by the time he was done.
      I like Carmine too but he gets a bit carried away with the Bonham thing.

    Carmine is a great drummer I truly believe that Bonzo was inspired by him. The great MAX ROACH said if you think what your playing is new think again we all have favorite musicians who inspired us. So if Bonzo copied carmine's triplet lick so what! He just took it and made it better! Peace out🙏
