It is estimated the Republican crooks had purged around three million minority voters from the voter rolls in 2016 versus about a million on this past election in which Crooked Trump lost. This is why the Republican crooks feel they were slighted against -- because they no longer have the power to purge as many minority and young voters as they would like in order to win! They don't want minority and young people to vote because these segments of the population tend to vote for the Democrats!

We don’t see the anguish, terror and disappointment and ongoing effects of the trauma that really happens in the situations.
I witnessed the 9/11 attacks in NYC way to close up, I remember news reports even then that included the “like a movie“ descriptor and editors had the power to show what they thought their network would allow them to show. That’s primarily why most people say like a movie or a video game I suppose, because to them the rest is a once-removed dramatized vision of life where the editor controls what they see. The media has the power to ring people truly “in” to the situation they were covering. Do you have a real impact on people’s feelings, of course they can warn people there’s graphic content, but that content is shown for a reason so that people realize the true cost of politics etc.

Oh boy. After the testimony today of those officers during the Committee to investigate January 6th, the comments about how the Capitol Police were somehow complicit leaves a pain in the heart. They fought, they were grossly outnumbered, they refused to open fire - knowing that would escalate everything into a blood bath (wow), they were hurt, killed, and some suffered so deeply that they took their own lives, while most have lifelong PTSD, along with other permanent injuries.
