You might not have heard it because this was so well balanced between all the singers, but Geoff hit a subharmonic B0 in this. Like literally an octave lower than a piano has.
Scott Porter is a founding member of VoicePlay, just like Geoff and Layne, he left and came back for this song. I've been watching Halo video reacts all day and watching the tribute at the end of each as well as your reactions to the tribute. And I get choked up every time. I never played Halo didn't even hear about it until the video was released. The video is awesome just like all of Voiceplay and Geoff's videos. Rek will be in their memories and hearts forever. As someone who lost her son when he was a baby I still miss him 41 years later.
You can actually get a cameo shot of Rek in Boy Bands in 5 Minutes when he comes to the guys standing around a glowing trash can and he passes a sub sandwich to Earl. And you get to see Boy Bands in 5 as well. Scott Porter left the singing for Hollywood right after high school. He has a good career from Lucifer Season 6, lead in Friday Night Lights.
