  • Welcome to our 1946 MG TC. Join us on a quick Test & Tour of the car as we go for a quick walk around and take it for a drive. This MG TC has been wonderfully restored and remains in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.

Can we get a thumbs up for sticky gauge needles? We all have been there and have spent way too many hours in attempt to resolve.

It's not sticky. It is working exactly as intended. Chronometric tacho's don't sweep. Perhaps if you understood the mechanism you wouldn't be trying to fix something that isn't broken.

Sounds like a farm tractor, accelerates like a tugboat, priced like a super car, crash survivability like a ninja bike, parts availability like a German U-boat.

Since you seem not to know anything about a TC I'd say it's a fair assumption you don't own one.

@@JJZBULLITT109 I owned a rubber bumper MG Midget once which was close enough. And no I don't own a TC, because at $40K, an $1K 1985 Honda Rebel is a much cheaper way to get your hands on a spoked wheeled vehicle... and I do own one of those. And will probably be buying more. 39 more for the price of one over priced farm tractor TC...
Okay owned a Midget is a strong word... I actually cut the steering wheel lock off an abandoned one, hot wired it, replaced the battery, primed the carb, got it running in the dark night under a street lampand drove it across country and back with my friend on a man Thelma and Louise adventure... as a Fresman in college.
Britishly unreliable, but I had a moment climbing over the windshield while it was going down the road in 3rd gear and hanging on top the windshield wipers while on the engine hood while my friend held the steering wheel and implored me to come back in the car.

Yep -- and I want one.

@@derjaeger3321 I found a cheaper, faster, more fun, and sexier way to get my spoked antique wheel fix on... with old cruiser spoked wheel Honda motorcycles. Just as sexy and 1/20th the price of an MG! A lot cheaper and easier to maintain too, if you stay on top of it. If you get an old beat up wreck like my oldest it's a labor of love and a job and a half!
An old Honda Rebel is more midgety than a midget and way more fun to drive!
