Wow...I do not normally share anything in comments but I have to tell you. I kept hearing "council of Nicea" this week. I have heard it before but I heard it this past week again. I am learning how to hear prophetically through the enemy's thick warfare, but I am telling you....this was confirmation for me even though I only heard in part not in whole. I love how Troy always admonishes listeners to: "take it to the Lord in prayer". We are living in a time when Christians place greater reliance on hearing from God through others than in hearing from God for themselves. This is extremely dangerous as it means that Christians end up trusting men rather than God. Whenever anyone says "God says" without admonishing you to take it to the Lord in prayer RUN, RUN, RUN away from them.
We need to stand up for the gifts of the Holy Spirit so people will know the truth about healing and casting out demons and setting people free in Jesus name. Also having that fellowship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit in worship is so important to yield to.

Hello, brother Black. Again we matched in the same lineage of thought. I'm catholic and just went to confessions 2 days ago. I have a sin in which I struggle with which is homosexuality. For the past 4 years I've been listening to priests and their explanation of what immorality is and the sin thereof. They claim thoughts of lust nor masturbation are not wrong. As you said that God said just the thoughts are enough to keep us from inheriting the kingdom. Priests took this stance since about 4-5 years ago and this is the head religion. As God says what the head does so will the tail follow meaning all evangelical religions will fall in same practice sooner than we think. Just wanted to share this. Thanks brother. Pray against the devils schemes towards the leaders of the church. God bless
That sin you struggle with is a demonic oppression (not IN you, but always clinging ONTO you). Ask Jesus directly for forgiveness (and accept Him as your personal Savior. This removes Satan's legal hold on you), and ask Him to remove that oppression, in the name of Jesus. The Lord is delivering people from homosexuality now. I have two dear friends who have been delivered. One said she actually felt that evil spirit release her and leave!! She said it tried to return a few times, but she told it to stay away. Scripture says if you resist the Devil, he will flee (that includes his minions, too). Jesus loves you so much and wants you to be free of this. No priest or church can save you, only Jesus' FREE gift of salvation can.

The one thing that the Bible teaches us is that Christ is the head of the body of Christ and as the body we have all different and varying gifts I would encourage you to get a good Bible and to read it for yourself would recommend to start with The book of John and then go from there and just ask the Lord to lead you from there I will pray a thorny hedge of protection around you for this period and we will see what the Holy Spirit does from there but always keep hope in front of you and stay away from negative thoughts in this period
Make sure you keep your Bibles because at some point I believe they're going to change the wording to make people stumble. Stay in your Bibles so you really know what the Word says. I continually find myself coming back to your channel these days. I feel as if I’ve watched you grow in the Lord , more every day. I’ve been a Christian for 50 years (holy cow this is my jubilee year!) The Lord has ,just this past few years, woken me out of the foggy haze that my life had become. My husband and I married during the Jesus revolution, the time of the last real revival in the USA. Wow it was an incredible time to experience such a mass movement in history. We saw miracles, we learned that worship brought God into our presence, we witnessed people’s lives change 100% instantly. I could go on! Somehow a great many of us have lived out our lives and regrettably fallen into the enemy’s trap of living a day to day existence. The very best part of this story is that we are ALL waking up to the pull of the Holy Spirit. We are being called back into what I would describe as “the church” the Real Church of Jesus Christ. Such an exciting time! Praise to the One who is , and is to come!

Re the power of satan/demons -- my own experiences differ in that I certainly agree about the power of the Holy Spirit against them, etc. as I've done it several times. (It works) But - I must also say we have a humongous problem in the church that does NOT get into their strategies/abilities so we'll be able to recognize more quickly and deal with it before it grows, gets worse. I've learned that they are way more powerful and devious than we are taught and it has been very harmful. We need both - the teachings of spiritual warfare against satan's ways along with the power we have with the Holy Spirit to combat them.
The churches I've been to don't really mention the demonic in a real world sense. They only mention them as if they were somewhere far away. Whenever I've seen some people try to talk about it, but everyone else gets weird and goes quiet, then changes the conversation. It's as if people theoretically believe in spirits, dreams, visions, and supernatural events, but when if you bring up either yours or a friend/relatives experience, then everyone turns into a hard skeptic and doesn't want to listen.

My Lutheran background taught faith alone is required for salvation, therefore following the word or biblical laws are a choice based on the individual and their relationship with God. I’m a firm believer that if God wants me fixed or to change, he will tell me so.The bar is low else the young and simple minded could never be saved. God treats us as individuals. Much legalism has entered religions, and also modern social norms. They have nothing to do with faith other than to diminish it. What does 2 Timothy 3:16 say in your Lutheran Bible? Also, if faith isn't yielding any of the listed fruits of the Spirit, then it isn't real faith. If or when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you were already acknowledging that something in you needed to be fixed, we all were. Ignore the person who complained about you not wearing a dress, there are more serious dangers that come through in your statement. "if God wants me fixed or to change, he will tell me so." conveys that you're not yielding to Him and you're trying to set the rules for how He's allowed to talk and interact with you. God is known to speak to us through those scriptures that you think are so optional but you want to limit Him to an audible conversation. But you ought to be so open to God that if He ever were to show you that your background was wrong,(not saying that it is all wrong, but it's not the final authority either) that you would choose Him over your preconceived ideas. I also encourage you to read the first few verses of the Gospel of John for clarification on what and who the Word of God actually is.

There is no such thing as faith that doesn't bear fruit, given enough time. You also can't be simultaneously repenting and yet willfully expressing pride in that which you are repenting from. But some apostate churches are teaching exactly that. Legalism and Hyper-Grace(or counterfeit grace) are EQUALLY dangerous pitfalls.

Yes, I've been seeing revisionist Bible scriptures going around, too. A "prophet" closed God told him you do not need to be delivered from homosexuality. He tried to use super emotive wording. God does NOT contradict Himself. God is not the author of confusion. "There is nothing new under the sun." God would not suddenly change something He declared for thousands of years, only to change it later.
Except God kind of did contradict and rethink prior words. Jesus revised our understanding of a lot* of previous norms and practices. Less a rewriting of it and more a reprioritization mostly but... the fact is that there is some inconsistency between old and new testament. I tend to prioritize Jesus and his words over the law, but all the Bible is valuable. Note, I am (in sexual orientation) exclusively zoosexual, I tried to be attracted to humans and that has never ever worked. I dislike my own species in a lot of ways. While I have not acted on it (am technically a virgin but still have sick thoughts and feel awful about it.) While I won't pretend this sin isn't a severe psychological problem for me, and I do feel horrible about it, find myself wanting to kill myself... still have self mutilation tendencies that are sometimes acted on, cutting and burning myself, suicide fantasies... and I accept that I should not be allowed into heaven, and yet God's love remains in my life and I struggle to even remotely accept the idea that God is willing to forgive me. Which is a sort of pride in its own right, having difficulty accepting salvation. But I continue to have difficulty accepting forgiveness. Why should God love me? Why would God love someone as sick and messed up as I am? It is extremely hard to accept that. And yet... it is true, the Spirit of God insists that I am loved by God no matter how broken I am. And yet... I really, really struggle to believe it even to the point where I question whether the voice I am hearing is God or just some sort of massive self delusion or coping mechanism. I am okay with being in hell if God wants to send me there, just love God regardless, God is important, I am not. If he wants me to suffer then I will embrace that agony forever. I love you Jesus. I am so sorry. I am so sorry for doubting, not believing, not following. I know being a good person is impossible for me, and I know just because you forgive me doesn't make me suddenly a good person. And I accept that just because God loves me doesn't say anything about me (I am a hideous, disgusting freak, maybe unsalvagably so) but is just who he is. And I must humble myself and accept that love. If I somehow make it to heaven I will choose an empty room there, some little quiet spot and just thank him for a few thousand years for letting me in at all. I don't want to *enjoy* being there, not at the outset, I want to pay some sort of penance and opt for some aeseticism and I will pray that God allows me to retain some of the qualities of Earth personally there, I want to be able to cry and feel anguish even then. I want to truly feel for everyone still tormented on Earth. The idea of the tears being gone, that is strange to me. Without tears, what else is left? Without a deep concern and focus on the suffering of people to the point where you can feel sorrow for them... for me if heaven denies me that it's not heaven somehow. Maybe that is because I have almost nothing I can relate to in heaven as joy is scarce here, hope almost gone, all the things heaven supposedly is are largely unrelatable and alien experiences to me. I don't get how heaven can... be. And for everyone who is not heterosexual, I really feel for you all, I'm definitely in the same broad boat of people who've been tempted to embrace their sexuality and make peace with it because getting rid of it isn't easy to do and can be lethal. I have tried. I have come close to physically castrating myself. Pain, blood, tears. It is a hard thing. I understand that. I want it gone, I really wish I could be asexual which sounds amazing. I may try self castration again at some point. I may try killing myself. I am sorry God if I succumb to that but I know you understand why it is so tempting. I am effectively in hell already anyway so a roll of the dice in the slim hope you will forgive me is definitely tempting. There is little to lose. It cannot get much worse. God I am so sorry. I am so sorry. Please let me not exist anymore. Just let it be completely over, as if I were never born. I know you made me for some reason and I don't get what the reason was. I know whatever you intended for me I failed utterly at and I am sorry. I know I do not deserve heaven so please just grant that in my death I may find release and cease to be altogether. My sociology of religion prof. at a Mennonite university said that the council was held in a room that was locked. The people in the council were not allowed to leave until they came to the “correct” conclusions on certain issues. I can just see Christian Nationalists trying to force people to become Christian Nationalists. Yet Jesus’ salvation is based initially on CHOICE. That’s why Revelation 3:20 says; Behold I stand at the door and knock…. Jesus has asked us to accept this amazing gift he’s offering. We choose to accept this gift or reject it. Others cannot make this choice for us. It is entirely personal and individual. And the fruit of our new-found relationship / fellowship with Jesus is that we WANT to change so we can become more like him.

That sin you struggle with is a demonic oppression (not IN you, but always clinging ONTO you). Ask Jesus directly for forgiveness (and accept Him as your personal Savior. This removes Satan's legal hold on you), and ask Him to remove that oppression, in the name of Jesus. The Lord is delivering people from homosexuality now. I have two dear friends who have been delivered. One said she actually felt that evil spirit release her and leave!! She said it tried to return a few times, but she told it to stay away. Scripture says if you resist the Devil, he will flee (that includes his minions, too).

I continually find myself coming back to your channel these days. I feel as if I’ve watched you grow in the Lord , more every day. I’ve been a Christian for 50 years (holy cow this is my jubilee year!) The Lord has ,just this past few years, woken me out of the foggy haze that my life had become. My husband and I married during the Jesus revolution, the time of the last real revival in the USA. Wow it was an incredible time to experience such a mass movement in history. We saw miracles, we learned that worship brought God into our presence, we witnessed people’s lives change 100% instantly. I could go on! Somehow a great many of us have lived out our lives and regrettably fallen into the enemy’s trap of living a day to day existence. The very best part of this story is that we are ALL waking up to the pull of the Holy Spirit. We are being called back into what I would describe as “the church” the Real Church of Jesus Christ. Such an exciting time! Praise to the One who is , and is to come!

Re the power of satan/demons -- my own experiences differ in that I certainly agree about the power of the Holy Spirit against them, etc. as I've done it several times. (It works) But - I must also say we have a humongous problem in the church that does NOT get into their strategies/abilities so we'll be able to recognize more quickly and deal with it before it grows, gets worse. I've learned that they are way more powerful and devious than we are taught and it has been very harmful.
We need both - the teachings of spiritual warfare against satan's ways along with the power we have with the Holy Spirit to combat them.
The churches I've been to don't really mention the demonic in a real world sense. They only mention them as if they were somewhere far away. Whenever I've seen some people try to talk about it, but everyone else gets weird and goes quiet, then changes the conversation. It's as if people theoretically believe in spirits, dreams, visions, and supernatural events, but when if you bring up either yours or a friend/relatives experience, then everyone turns into a hard skeptic and doesn't want to listen.

My Lutheran background taught faith alone is required for salvation, therefore following the word or biblical laws are a choice based on the individual and their relationship with God. I’m a firm believer that if God wants me fixed or to change, he will tell me so.The bar is low else the young and simple minded could never be saved. God treats us as individuals. Much legalism has entered religions, and also modern social norms. They have nothing to do with faith other than to diminish it. I actually had someone online tell me God doesn’t respect me because I won’t wear a dress! I’m like…REALLY?!😳

Also, if faith isn't yielding any of the listed fruits of the Spirit, then it isn't real faith. If or when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you were already acknowledging that something in you needed to be fixed, we all were. Ignore the person who complained about you not wearing a dress, there are more serious dangers that come through in your statement. "if God wants me fixed or to change, he will tell me so." conveys that you're not yielding to Him and you're trying to set the rules for how He's allowed to talk and interact with you. God is known to speak to us through those scriptures that you think are so optional but you want to limit Him to an audible conversation. But you ought to be so open to God that if He ever were to show you that your background was wrong,(not saying that it is all wrong, but it's not the final authority either) that you would choose Him over your preconceived ideas. I also encourage you to read the first few verses of the Gospel of John for clarification on what and who the Word of God actually is.

God does NOT contradict Himself. God is not the author of confusion.

God would not suddenly change something He declared for thousands of years, only to change it later.
Except God kind of did contradict and rethink prior words. Jesus revised our understanding of a lot* of previous norms and practices. Less a rewriting of it and more a reprioritization mostly but... the fact is that there is some inconsistency between old and new testament.
I tend to prioritize Jesus and his words over the law, but all the Bible is valuable.
Note, I am (in sexual orientation) exclusively zoosexual, I tried to be attracted to humans and that has never ever worked. I dislike my own species in a lot of ways. While I have not acted on it (am technically a virgin but still have sick thoughts and feel awful about it.) While I won't pretend this sin isn't a severe psychological problem for me, and I do feel horrible about it, find myself wanting to kill myself... still have self mutilation tendencies that are sometimes acted on, cutting and burning myself, suicide fantasies... and I accept that I should not be allowed into heaven, and yet God's love remains in my life and I struggle to even remotely accept the idea that God is willing to forgive me. Which is a sort of pride in its own right, having difficulty accepting salvation. But I continue to have difficulty accepting forgiveness.
Why should God love me? Why would God love someone as sick and messed up as I am? It is extremely hard to accept that.
And yet... it is true, the Spirit of God insists that I am loved by God no matter how broken I am. And yet... I really, really struggle to believe it even to the point where I question whether the voice I am hearing is God or just some sort of massive self delusion or coping mechanism.
I am okay with being in hell if God wants to send me there, just love God regardless, God is important, I am not.
If he wants me to suffer then I will embrace that agony forever. I love you Jesus. I am so sorry. I am so sorry for doubting, not believing, not following. I know being a good person is impossible for me, and I know just because you forgive me doesn't make me suddenly a good person. And I accept that just because God loves me doesn't say anything about me (I am a hideous, disgusting freak, maybe unsalvagably so) but is just who he is. And I must humble myself and accept that love. If I somehow make it to heaven I will choose an empty room there, some little quiet spot and just thank him for a few thousand years for letting me in at all. I don't want to *enjoy* being there, not at the outset, I want to pay some sort of penance and opt for some aeseticism and I will pray that God allows me to retain some of the qualities of Earth personally there, I want to be able to cry and feel anguish even then. I want to truly feel for everyone still tormented on Earth. The idea of the tears being gone, that is strange to me. Without tears, what else is left? Without a deep concern and focus on the suffering of people to the point where you can feel sorrow for them... for me if heaven denies me that it's not heaven somehow. Maybe that is because I have almost nothing I can relate to in heaven as joy is scarce here, hope almost gone, all the things heaven supposedly is are largely unrelatable and alien experiences to me. I don't get how heaven can... be.
And for everyone who is not heterosexual, I really feel for you all, I'm definitely in the same broad boat of people who've been tempted to embrace their sexuality and make peace with it because getting rid of it isn't easy to do and can be lethal. I have tried. I have come close to physically castrating myself. Pain, blood, tears. It is a hard thing. I understand that. I want it gone, I really wish I could be asexual which sounds amazing. I may try self castration again at some point. I may try killing myself. I am sorry God if I succumb to that but I know you understand why it is so tempting. I am effectively in hell already anyway so a roll of the dice in the slim hope you will forgive me is definitely tempting.

My sociology of religion prof. at a Mennonite university said that the council was held in a room that was locked. The people in the council were not allowed to leave until they came to the “correct” conclusions on certain issues. I can just see Christian Nationalists trying to force people to become Christian Nationalists. Yet Jesus’ salvation is based initially on CHOICE. That’s why Revelation 3:20 says; Behold I stand at the door and knock…. Jesus has asked us to accept this amazing gift he’s offering. We choose to accept this gift or reject it. Others cannot make this choice for us. It is entirely personal and individual. And the fruit of our new-found relationship / fellowship with Jesus is that we WANT to change so we can become more like him.
