      He's not a creep. What did he even do? Everyone are framing this exposé as if he is a pdf file. There's absolutely zero proof of that. First of all, he has no influence on who is hired as a dialogue coach on the set. Second of all, it is standard procedure to pay two people half a salary if they have no prior work experience and he has no influence on the salary of Nickelodeon employees as a showrunner. There is a reason why the lawsuit went in Nickelodeon's favor, which the docu-series conveniently left out. All the jokes went through dozens of proofing and no one thought anything of it. It's normal for children shows to have innuendoes to keep teenagers aged 15+ (who generally go on to watch adult shows but might still watch age-appropriate stuff every now and then if it's not too immature) engaged. He was excellent at doing that. Alexa Nikolas is a well known grifter and liar, so anything she says can easily be dismissed. Drake Bell even mentioned how Schneider was the only one who supported him through all his ordeals. Everyone are going against this innocent man all for being fat. Also, Schneider has no influence on costume designing, so that black kid coming forth about the nose costume is putting the blame on the entirely wrong person. Stop fat-shaming obese people as pdf files. You've been doing this for the past 20 years and it's disgusting. All you can say about him is that he could be very rude since he was a perfectionist, but anyone working in Hollywood would know even directors and actors everyone loves like Joaquin Phoenix or Christopher Nolan are exactly the same.

      @son193 Před 2 měsíci

      What unacceptable behaviour, you NPC? He literally never did anything wrong. 2 of the girls on the Quiet on Sets docu-series are lying grifters who lost lawsuits because they admitted to fabrication or not understanding simple things like splitting salaries when you're a first time employee is common procedure that they themselves agreed to (no false pretence) and also Alexa Nikolas tried to sue her husband claiming unspeakable crimes against her because he didn't pay spousal support anymore. These are the grifters you people are leeching on to bring Schneider down. Funnily enough, Ariana Grande, Josh Peck, Drake Bell (Josh and Drake don't get along, but they mutually both love Schneider), Amanda Bynes (who came forth against her own father for SA, but never had anything but nice things to say about Schneider who tried his best to emancipate her from that abusive relationship she had), and thousands of more never spoke against him. All you have are two washed-up writers who were angry about being underpaid and had their lawsuit dismissed by any rational judge who knows what's up, and a malignant liar like Alexa (who is rumored to be the one who leaked intimate images of Vanessa Hudgens), and Jeanette who admitted to be jealous of Ariana for becoming successful while she ended up washed-up and blamed Dan for that. The internet is blaming Schneider just for being fat.

      @retroreceptionist7571 that's in prison or jail. Probation could be up to 10 years with another 10 years as an offender. And if you really messed up, life on the registry. It's harder these days because you now have internet crimes against children. I do think you guys need to educate yourself on offenders and what they have to do. From what I know, it's not easy at all. You're basically on house arrest until your officer trusts you enough to let you ask for simple freedoms back. You have to go to therapy and even several other things are required. I don't have enough patience to detail this further. That being said, these guys are gross. However, I can't say I haven't heard of worse. I won't even speak it in the comments

    • @itzkiblo
      @itzkiblo Před 2 měsíci

      @@SorayaTheArtist you have people being caught molesting multiple kids and they are let out and are just told not to be near kids which they dont follow. You even have people working for the CIA being caught with 10 terabytes of CP and idek if they really got in trouble or fired. You have multiple repeat offenders who get let off the hook on bail. Even right now at the border you have children coming across with numbers on them and the government just brings these kids to these addresses knowing theyre being sex trafficked.
      There's even this guy who calls himself a hacker for justice where he found a bunch of websites that had CP and turning them into the authorities did nothing so he'd go out trying to catch predators but its really hard bc in some states the predators dont get charged unless you catch them with an actual minor so just exposing them for trying to meet up with kids isnt enough and its why you have CZcamsrs like EDP get away with it. You have states that wont accept evidence bc its a two party consent state meaning it requires the person youre trying to expose to agree to you recording them and using the evidence.
      90% of the time the FBI and CIA are aware of predators online but either cant do anything or wont do anything. If you've seen the movie "Sound of Freedom" its based on a true story about someone who worked for the government and they wouldnt let him save these kids so he quit and took matters into his own hands by actually going out in the field to find these kids.
      Being put on a list wont stop predators especially when the government doesnt actually care. Social media like Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram are aware of their apps being used by predators and that theyre one of common ways kids are trafficked but they dont do anything about that. Even when Elon Musk bought Twitter he exposed that they knew about CP and predators using the app and the company didnt care.
      We have multiple cases of SA being covered up in schools and speaking of schools, female teachers tend to get off with a slap on the wrist if they're attractive enough. We also have people in Hollywood being exposed as predators and nothing happens. You have parents basically selling their kids to Hollywood and nothing happens. I could keep going, but whatever punishment you think they've been receiving, isnt doing anything and its clearly not being enforced.

Though, I think that it was my innocence that resulted in me not giving these jokes a second thought. The late 2000s and early 2010s also had different social exceptions than we do now. With a combination of child innocence and a change of time, Schneider knew what he was doing, and so do we.

      if you look back at a lot of old cartoons, you would see a lot of sexual things that you never picked up on as a kid, in the end, these shows had to be designed for children AND their parents, since it was expected that the parent would be watching with their kid.
      Recently saw a short on Facebook from Ren and Stimpy, granted that show was probably fairly extreme in that sense, but it was where Stimpy had a lock ontop of his ass, with Ren having a saw where his penis would normally be, and yes, they went through all the motions of sex, amazing how as a kid you won't really think about that and it's just "funny" while it's so obvious what it really means when you grow up.

    i never really watched these shows, bc i was more of a disney kid, but it’s not any less disturbing to hear about the horrors child actors go through. it’s also important to watch documentaries like this because even “innocent” looking things could be a hint of ongoing CSA and parents need to be aware of the signs, no matter how small.

    • @DarkDyllon
      @DarkDyllon Před 2 měsíci

      it's also kinda disturbing howmuch parents allowed to be done with their kids.
      Like, imagine Ariana being your daughter right? as a father I would want to see what is being shown of my daughter, when she then makes sexual inuendo's about doing a handjob ... yeah, that would be pulled quite quickly, it's not just Dan's fault, he's definitely guilty AF, but the parents should also be guilty for neglecting their children like this, people who don't think this, why?
      as a parent, your mission is to make sure your child is safe and prepared for the future, if you allow some TV writer to abuse or make sexual inuendo's about your kid, then you're also part of the problem, I would've exposed that shit so fast.

      most of my class (boys at the time) who watched that show found Kat to be a hot ditzy redhead. (doesn't help that we were around their age aswel)
      Or Victoria's cast aswel, it was 100% aimed at horny teens wanting a piece of that pie, doesn't excuse Dan of course, but I don't hear anyone speak on how it's super obvious who he was targeting with some of these "jokes" that is now deemed not good but the adults who used to watch them.
      This is also 100% a parent issue, which parent isn't actually involved in production and seeing what they're doing to their young teenage daughter on worldwide Television.

    With how rich he is any potential cases have probably already been payed off and that court order thing were you can no longer talk about it so beyond cases against inappropriate stuff with young actors there's nothing really to pin on him unfortunately

    The worst part is he's so glib about it, a mere sorry. A shrug. It's so good that content creators like Pegasus are holding him up to more scrutiny. God knows who else is going through a screwed up childhood thanks to these producers and mommy vloggers and so on.
